Anubis collapsed to his knees because he could no longer stand. His own abilities had now turned against him. He had always harshly assessed others, and now he was being unfairly judged. The power of the balance was absolute, and activating it still drew power from him, so he was probably twice as exhausted as someone else would be under those conditions.
This is quite a sight to behold.
"STOP THIS…!"
As he observed everything, Anubis began to tremble and sweat bullets as he saw all three of us charging at him. I began attacking him with my spear and countless rays of sunshine, while Sepa’s possession had already ended. Violet attacked him with his gigantic scythes, while the Guardian pummeled him into the ground with his massive stone spear.
BAAM! BAAM! BAAM!
“Uugggh! RAAAHHH…!”
Anubis was being hit from all sides, and he was so weakened he was incapable of fighting back. His punches were strong and made the ground tremble, but they were slow and avoidable. His tail sweep was also easy to predict, and his bites were so sluggish I was yawning while evading them. Maybe I was getting a bit cocky, and perhaps I was “unfairly” treating him, but knowing what my brother would go through after fighting his incarnation, which even involved my own death and later “miraculous revival”, I simply couldn’t stand still now that I had the tools to deal with him.
“You must really love getting your ass kicked! Why are you not unsummoning yourself from here? Your manifestation will only end up becoming my materials if you don’t hurry." I said it with a laugh.
“MY TOMB… MY TREASURES…!” He roared furiously. “I WILL REMEMBER YOU!”
FLUOSH!
Suddenly, his Manifestation began turning into a phantasmal form, slowly beginning to vanish into the ceiling. It looks like he was finally giving up. However, he wouldn’t go away without barking at me one last time. I almost felt bad for him, knowing how malicious of a Constellation he was. I can’t really pity his situation. I might be making him my enemy now, but that was within my expectations today. It was all worth it if I could get these powers in exchange. They will open the path for a future where I can grasp my own destiny.
“Don’t ever think this is over! I will chase you down to the ends of the earth! I shall never let a mortal treat me like this ever again! Vengeance shall be mine!”

And then he finally vanished. After that, the giant statue fell into pieces and completely stopped moving, and the amazing buff I was receiving quickly disappeared. My entire body felt like falling into pieces due to the enormous exhaustion I felt. That was quite something.

An insanely overpowered Skill allows someone to balance their own power level against an extremely powerful foe. However, it can only be used against a single target, and its cooldown upon usage is 24 Hours.
Level Bonus (1): 50% Chance to Summon a {Guardian of the Balance} whenever the weighing of hearts falls in the user’s favor.

Yep, this Skill is just as broken as I remember it. Jack was never able to obtain it in the Novel either; it was an insane power the Incarnation of Anubis could use to overpower him in a battle and almost kill him.

This is literally necromancy but slightly nerfed, and it comes with several pluses, such as, hm? Wait what? Quests? I didn’t know that was a thing! I am fairly sure Quests only begin happening halfway through the Second Awakening and become incredibly crucial in the Third Awakening. interesting. To think a Skill can generate them so early on. This might be easy to abuse.

A wonderful privilege is only given to the little sister of death itself!
By being so adorable and cute, your Charm Stat can enhance the chances of convincing the dead to be controlled and reanimated by you.
Additionally, whenever you fight a death-related foe or an undead-type monster, your Stats increase by +50% and the foe’s Stats decrease by -25% for the duration of the battle.

Broken! What the heck?! This will make Necromancing even easier, and that buff against Death-related foes and Undead is amazing. Maybe that was also something that influenced the fight against Anubis without my realizing it. I had only thought about getting the Balance Skill, the Ruler of the Dead was a fine addition, but this? I never thought I would get this Privilege from absorbing that crystal.
