The Yeti King’s giant ice club impacted against my shield, unleashing a shockwave of ice. I somehow barely held on to it while having my legs dug into the snow. My body was being boosted to its limits using Ki and the power of my Physique, and I was barely hanging on a thin thread under the enormous pressure. Ugh, this is a bit too much!
“NOW!”
However, I had a plan. As I received the impact head-on, all three of my other allies jumped into battle. The Wolf Mother leaped over the Yeti King’s face, biting and nibbling his eyes and nose. And then, the Yeti Mage behind me conjured icicle spears, piercing the Yeti King’s
legs and stopping his movements.
Lastly, Violet opened his jaws and imbued Mana into them, reinforcing them and biting the Yeti King’s neck with all his strength, while his scythes pierced the monster’s back, slashing apart his tough fur.
The Yeti King screamed in agony, moving wildly and swinging his giant club around. His movements were erratic yet incredibly fast, as if he were becoming faster the more damage he took!
“GRUAH!”
A giant fist reached Violet and blew him into the skies, right before a giant leg kicked me away into the snow. I felt as if my ribs broke there, and I fell over a rock due to my terrible luck, which made me vomit blood out of the impact that seemed to have made my broken ribs pierce my lungs.
“Unnggh…!” I coughed, quickly trying to get back up as I saw the Yeti King crushing the Yeti Mage with his club, repeatedly hitting him until it became a pile of flesh.
[The Soul of the Dead has been forcefully retrieved back to the underworld.]
“Shit… Is a B- Rank is too much even for all of us combined?” I wondered. Then, I noticed the Wolf Mother hanging on a thin thread.
She was jumping around wildly while evading the hits and biting the Yeti King’s legs. Amongst all of us, she was perhaps the strongest in terms of physical prowess, as she was an A-Rank Undead. The Yeti King was something like a boss, though his strength seemed much higher than his rank. Kind of like the Abyssal Dweller Queen.
“Violet!” I cried, thinking about my friend first, as I found him in his tiny form, all tired. Some of his legs were broken, and both of his scythes were torn apart by the hit.
“G-Gryeeehh…”
“Violet! Drink this!”
I desperately gave him the last three Health Potions I had, barely managing to make him heal up better, though his legs wouldn’t regrow for a little while.
“Kyuuhh…”
Violet was too exhausted and was unable to fight again anyway.
“S-Stay here for now! Don’t move.” I said, coughing more blood. My wounds were rather severe, but thanks to my higher-tiered Physique, they weren’t too bad.
Should I use Anubis’ judgment with this bastard? He’s too strong. If the Yeti King kills Mama Wolf, he’ll crush me afterward. Dammit, this skill has a 24-hour cooldown; I cannot use it sparingly against some random mob I found around! But if I don’t, I may end up dying. Though there’s another option, Either ask for help from the Constellations like a damn baby or use that Skill.
As I wasted my time thinking, I heard a loud cry reverberating across the snowy landscape. The Yeti King suddenly roared in fury; his Aura turned completely red, and his eyes became crimson-colored. He was changing. This is a Skill’s effect! I knew this damn monkey had another trump card.

Suddenly, I heard the barking of a tiny wolf pup that emerged from the snow. He rushed in front of his dead mother, barking back at the giant Yeti King.
“Grrhhh…”
His red eyes, filled with fury, glared at the tiny thing with mercilessness. He raised his ice club, about to crush him. I guess there’s no point in holding back; I have to use it. I activated the Skill, and the moment I did, I felt something odd.

Suddenly, something else happened. I saw something brilliant, like a star shining within my very soul. The more I tried to grab it, the farther it was from my reach. What was this? What did it mean? I simply couldn’t figure it out now, but somehow, this star was giving me incredible power.
My skin started growing patches of golden fur around my arms and legs. My nails became sharp, like feline claws. My ears grew longer, and my eyes got bigger and sharper. My teeth became sharp like knives, and all of my senses were enhanced tremendously. Even more ridiculously, I now had a long, golden tail, and a halo of colorful light, generating a rainbow, appeared behind me.
Shining brilliance shone in all directions, almost blinding me.
In a mere second, I reached the Yeti King and stopped his club from crushing the Glacial Wolf Pup. My fists were so fast and strong that not even I could believe myself. The entire club started shattering into pieces the moment I touched it lightly.

Not only that, but the converged powers in my fist channeled themselves, and my punch generated a massive beam of light, smashing into the Yeti King’s face and sending him down onto the floor once more. The snow exploded below his weight, and the entire area surrounding us trembled.
The Yeti King roared in anger and pain; he was now blind, and his face was all disfigured, yet his instincts were so sharp that he immediately stood back up, confronting me.

The Yeti King received me with a barrage of punches. I intercepted them using my sharp claws and slicing through his tough skin, muscles, and then bones, slashing apart his fingers off his hands.
The gigantic beast cried in agony, but his berserker state numbed his pain and made him furiously charge his entire body against me, attempting to attack me with a furious body slam.
However, I kicked him back, crushing his shoulder bones and shattering his left arm. The kick came packed with an enormous shockwave of shining light.
BAAAM!
The Yeti king roared in fury, trying to get me by biting me. However, my body moved at an incredible speed and evaded all of his pathetic attempts. At the same time, I slashed his entire body and filled it with bleeding wounds, but that didn’t stop him.
He suddenly channeled all of his Mana into his entire body and generated a massive beam of ice against me. It was surprising, but that wasn’t something that my new transformation would struggle with again! With a mere wave of my hands, an even stronger beam of light emerged, impacting his beam of ice and then completely destroying it.
At the same time, I jumped forward, loading my claws with Ki and Mana, and then using this perfect opportunity to slice through his neck!
“DIE!”
“GRAAAH!”
The Yeti King tried to stop me using his arms, but they ended up being sliced apart, the same as his neck. A fountain of blood began spraying everywhere, covering the snow and turning it even redder. His head rolled over the floor, and his body quickly fell into the snow without moving anymore.

“Awoo…” The little white puppy growled, licking the face of his mother’s corpse. Her red eyes opened faintly, looking at her child tenderly. She started licking his face one last time while sniffing him.
“Awoo!” The tiny puppy seemed so sad that I was about to cry.
Oh man, this is too sad! Don’t make me regret killing you now; you were the one who tried to kill us first! She suddenly glanced at me; her sharp red eyes directed at my own.
“I get it; I’ll take care of him. And I’ll make sure to feed him. Though not human flesh like you tried to!”
She sighed, slowly closing her eyes. The rest of her body suddenly started to dissipate into ashes as a bright blue light remained, flowing in front of me and materializing into three Treasure Chests and a Soul Orb.

“It’s sooooo cuteeeee!” She cried. “I’ve always wanted to have a puppy!”
An Ice Sorceress and a Glacial Wolf Pup, I think they would make a good duo.
