Inside of the mansion of the Lumière famiglia's main family, a sudden familiar hoarse voice was heard through the hidden speakers installed in every places of the manor.
"Wasn't that Reid's voice?"
"It is Reid."
"Did his ghost came here to revenge himself because he died an awful death?"
"Shouldn't he go look for the Queen instead if that's the case?"
"Well, we did leave him there with her."
"Could Reid be dead already? The day hasn't even end yet, did the ruthless Queen gave Reid an easy death and not torture him?"
The other members of the main family are sleeping in their rooms while Skyler and the Boss was in the study. Only Amber, Nicholas, and Noel are in the living room and Amber is, as usual, hovering over her laptop.
"Hey, Amber! Get your fvcking flat àss here! I'm about to die with all these traps you made."
*crack*
Both Nicholas and Noel gulps in slight fear as they felt Amber's killing aura around the room. Amber's hands grips her laptop too hard that it breaks into two.
Staring at her broken laptop, Amber's eyes turns even more ferocious and through the intercom in her collar, she spoke in a dangerous, warning tone, "Reid Leor, it seems that Aisha didn't torture you enough to shut that dàmn mouth of yours."
Hearing Amber's voice in the small hidden speakers somewhere, Reid knew that he fvck up real bad.
Never insult a woman or else thou shall face gruesome punishment.
"No, I meant Goddess Amber! The one who has the most gorgeous àss given by God, please let this humble being in your abode!" Reid almost screams as he pleads rather desperately for mercy.
It was hard enough to escape in Aisha's manor with lots of traps and mafias, and now when he was almost in his safe haven, those cruel people wouldn't even let him in and instead had to deal with yet another traps and lasers that will kill you instantly.
Where's the humanity!? He's also about to die because of losing too much blood, not to mention that even though he already gave himself some basic treatment, it wasn't enough and he needs an operation for his wounds in his shoulder and his front body.
Feeling the abrupt vibration in the ground, Reid, who is seating and hiding in one of the trees inside the manor, widen his eyes in alarm.
Oh, no, she did not!
Forcing himself to stand up, Reid gritted his teeth and endure the pain of his open wounds. He was panting so hard and his vision blurs but he needs to get the heck out of here.
"Shït!" Reid cursed as a series of red lasers suddenly appears in the area. The red lasers are moving as though they are finding the intruder--- in this case, it's him. "Amber Iliana! Are you trying to kill me!? Stop this childish game of yours this instance."
Gripping the cold gun in his hand, Reid felt that he was close to losing his conciousness. Seeing the small black devices everywhere, Reid use the remaining bullets in his gun and fires three devices in one bullet. Repeating this cycle, Reid only manage to destroy nine devices and one red laser pierced through his body.
Although it didn't hurt at all, this could only mean that, right in this moment, he will die.
The ground was shaking again, some areas in the ground starts breaking into two and guns, daggers, spears, knives, etc., suddenly appears and all was aiming at Reid.
"You have got to be fvcking kidding me."
Back in the mansion.
The three of them are watching Reid fighting for his dear life on the huge TV screen in the living room.
"Salute to the Queen! She manage to torture Reid to this extent!" Noel couldn't help but to feel amuse of Aisha but still felt as though Aisha went to easy on Reid.
He, after all, fought her once and among all of them, he knows better how ruthless and inhumane Aisha can be.
"At least we won't be hearing Reid's bragging about his so called "good looks" for awhile." Nicholas nodded and continues reading an old Chinese book regarding about medicine back in the old days.
"What's with the commotion all about?"
"Skyler! Boss!" All three of them stood up and bows in respect.
"Is that Reid?" Skyler asked and then frowns. "Amber, enough of playing. Noel, fetch Reid or else he will really die in his condition."
Noel pursed his lips in frustration, he really don't likes it when people orders him around. Amber's also piss but both of them could only comply.
Minutes later, Reid was brought into the living room.
"Medic. I need medic." Reid's usual gruff and alluring voice is alarmingly hoarse and dry. His tanned skin is pale and not only that, his open wounds are swollen and in a purplish and red color, sign that his wounds are infected.
Noel felt bad for Reid's pathetic situation and calls for the second genius of their family in terms of medicine, "Nicholas, come and treat Reid."
Lifting his gaze from the book, Nicholas stares into Reid's situation and then shook his head in disappointment, "I can perform a surgery right now but based on Noel's information about Aisha's sword, Reid could be poison and that's the main reason why his wounds refuse to close. 24 hours had almost passed and yet those simple and small wounds didn't even heal. Having a surgery now could worsen his condition"
Noel, Skyler and Amber suddenly feels alarmed at Nicholas statement. Especially Amber, since she knows how capable Nicholas and Andrew are when it comes to medication, she has the guts to delay Reid's treatment and plays with him for awhile because he always tease and mess up with her but she completely forgot how cruel Aisha is.
"Andrew! Let's call Andrew! He knows a few knowledge about poisons, right? Let's call him!" Noel was starting to panic and was about to go and find Andrew when he was stop at Amber's voice.
"Andrew is sleeping in his room."
Noel was frozen in his position and gulps heavily. One must know that if you ever disturb Andrew's sleep, then you will meet a beast. Heck, even Boss won't dare to disturb him!
"How is Andrew is still sleeping? He didn't even go with us last night and sleeps the whole night!" Reid groans in pain.
So, what? He manage to escape the devil's den but he was still going to die!?
Skyler sighs and he was about to sacrifice himself to woke Andrew up when their Boss suddenly steps towards Reid.
Through his blurred vision, Reid could still guess that it was his Boss who is in front of him and calls in a trembling voice, "Boss."
Nodding in response he threw some orders to press on Reid's wounds to stop from further bleeding at Noel and Amber, and orders Nicholas to prepare himself to do surgery and for Skyler to prepare the emergency room in the mansion.
"Reid, where's your gun?" Hearing his Boss asked, Reid suddenly grips his right hand and breathe a sigh of relief.
Good, my gun is still with me.
Seeing the gun in Reid's hand, their Boss forcefully gets the gun from Reid's tight grip and dismantle it.
"Hey, Boss! What are you doing!?" Reid who is in the brink of losing consciousness, was suddenly wide awake and gaps at his weird Boss.
"There's nothing to fret about, it's not your gun but Aisha's."
Noel, Amber and Reid was confuse. How the hell did it become Aisha's gun? It was clearly Reid's gun whom Reid treasure so much.
Successfully dismantled the gun, all four of them saw a small bottle filled with blue liquid and a small rolled paper tied with blue ribbon.
"No... no way." Reid mutters in disbelief, especially when he saw the structure of his gun slowly turning into the familiar personalize gun of Aisha with her initials carved into it.
"Aisha's gun can morph into another gun!?" Noel asked in disbelief.
"This is..." Amber trails off, oblivious to her hands pressing rather too hard on Reid's wound.
She too loves to invent things and create new weapons but she had never built anything so significant like this.
If I have Aisha's gun, then where is my gun!? Reid panics as his gun is very important to him. If he have to go back to the Queen's den then he would go there without a doubt.
"Boss, the operation room is ready. I will just need Amber and Noel's assistant and---" Nicholas, who just enters the room, stops when he saw his Boss holding a small bottle with blue liquid.
"Antidote," throwing the bottle into Nicholas direction, he assemble Aisha's gun. "Take Reid."
"Will do." Both Noel and Amber carries Reid who already pass out, probably from shock and loss of too much blood.
Now that Skyler is assured that Reid will be alright, he turns to his Boss and ask, "Boss, do we still go to---" Skyler stopped in mid-sentence and his eyes widen in shock as he stares at his Boss, whom he never see smiling after that incident, grins while reading something on that small piece of paper.
Boss, can you please not smile like that? It scares me more than I was scared for Reid's life!
