The chair missed Nathalia but fell on one of the recorders, left a cut on her head, and blood was dripping down. She freaked out and screamed, "Ahhhhh, murderer!"

The judges were completely amazed. They had never seen such a scene in the court. A doctor was sent for; Frank was still shouting; It was a complete mess.

Is this the real Frank Carter, the president of The Carter Company? One never knows what's hidden behind the mask. His behavior was shocking and frightening.

Nathalia was the calmest. She simply watched quietly. "For sure, if you had killed me, this would not have happened now. Respectable judges, can I request that Mr. Frank Carter has his wounds examined?"

The judges took another glance around the chaos, their faces turned stern, and they had decided. Frank Carter, we have given you enough respect. Now you should show some respect to us.

The chief judge said determinedly, "Sure. Get the doctor. Also, Mr. Carter, this is the court, not your home. It's not where you show off."

However, his decision didn't worry, Frank much. Frank was too confident of himself, thinking the money could do anything, and he had the money.

Though he was furious and terribly anxious, he was still sensible, and he had someone to get the journalists away before he sneaked into the courtroom from the back door, so no one saw him.

"Respectable judges, it's our family issue, I would rather you leave it to us and not get involved."

The judges' faces twitched again, astounded. Aha, you think you have the money and the power, and the whole of Miami is in your control. But this is the court. You've crossed the line. The chief judge looked at Frank and said seriously, "This is not a family issue. You have committed a crime..."

Ann had realized the situation was not in their favor now, and soon she had an idea. She rushed to Nathalia and said loudly, "Where is Zack? Where is Zack? What are you doing to him? If he's hurt, I will never forgive you. Respectable judges, arrest her. Or has she bribed you? Is that why?" Same as her husband, Ann never underestimated the power of money or doubted her belief in it. And she thought of everyone else like herself.

This time, the judges were truly cross, once again accused of taking bribes. "Take her out." He said sharply. Ann was dragged out of the court by two guards, kicking her legs and screaming, "Let go of me! Nathalia Carter, you will die terribly! I assure you!"

Just then the door was pushed open, and Zack walked in to see her mum being held by two guards. Immediately, he held up his arm, hand in a fist. "Mum, what happened? What are they doing to you?! They need a beating!"

Ann freed herself from the guards and embraced her son as he had just come back from death. She cried out loud, "Oh, my baby! My baby!"

Frank was astonished. "Zack? How come you are here?"

Zack said impatiently, a bit annoyed, "I just went out for a walk. Why? Has it finished? Did we win? I knew it! We are the Carters. Who dares to displease us? Hahaha," He laughed out loud victoriously as if the whole world was his.

Evette stared at him, completely confused.

Frank started to feel worried. "Zack, where's your phone?" It was Zack's number that called him. The guy on the other line threatened him to go to the court, or Zack would be dead, but when he called back, the number was not available anymore, and that drove him crazy.

Now he realized he had fallen into a trap. It was a setup. Instantly, he turned around to look at Nathalia. He couldn't process it.

Nathalia looked at him with her innocent eyes, a content smile on her face.

She looks innocent, yet it seems like she is the only one with the motive. But again, has she got the ability to set this all up?

Zack then noticed his father and stupidly, he shouted, "Dad, how come you are here? Don't you need to stay in the hospital and fake that you are in a coma?"

Fake? He's truly stupid. Is he really Frank Carter's son? Does he have a brain?

The judges exchanged looks, and nothing needed explaining.

Frank panicked, his heart racing, and impatiently he barked at Zack, "Zack, where's your phone? Don't you understand my question? I'm asking you." Why isn't he a bit smarter?! Frank thought frustratingly.

Zack had never been afraid of anything, anyone, including his parents. Having been spoiled all his life, he couldn't bear his father shouting at him. He snapped, "Why are you shouting at me? I'm not deaf. Yes, I heard your question.

Frank could have anyone listen to him easily, but with his son, he had no idea what to do. Ann started to worry, as well. She spoke softly, hoping to persuade him, "Zack, please, listen to Dad."

"I've got my phone in my pocket..." Zack then put his hand in his pocket to search, then a surprised look appeared on his face, "Where's my phone? Have I lost it? Alright. It's ok. I will just get another one..."

I've just been to the toilet and had a few clouds of smoke. This is weird. Where did I lose it? I can't remember. Anyway. It's just a phone.

Till now, he was still unaware of what was happening and how serious the situation had turned.

The judges shook their heads, sighed. They are a couple, both cunning and calculating. But Nathalia Carter, the older daughter, is smart and elegant, very well-mannered.

Even Evette Carter could sense that something went wrong. But Zack Carter?! What's wrong with him? The Carter Company won't last long once he takes over.

The Carter couple looked at each other. Both realized that they had been set up. The whole time they had not noticed any trace of it at all.

Sean cut in at the perfect time, "Respectable judges, I would like to repeat my client's request, which is that Mr. Frank Carter has his wounds examined now."

The chief judge nodded, "Approved."
