Since she was here, she could stay here for a while. She ordered a cup of c.o.c.ktail and sat down.

Doris ordered the same and sat next to her. Angelo smiled at her without thinking much.

Then she looked at the people who were dancing with a smile. Since she came back to life, it was the first time she entered a bar.

She took a sip of the c.o.c.ktail and took another sip after finding that it tasted good.

Looking at "him," Doris was worried. The c.o.c.ktail tasted like a fruit wine, but it had a lot of staying power.

After some time, more girls gathered around Angelo. Since Doris was with her, they didn't get quite close.

They observed for a while and found that Angelo never looked at Doris, so they got more nerve.

One of them, a girl in a low-cut black dress, sat next to Angelo, holding "his" arms and wriggling from side to side.

Feeling the touch, Angelo felt disgusted. She pushed the girl away and shouted in a low voice, "Get away from me."

Hearing that, the girl didn't mind and thought Angelo was playing hard to get, which was a common game man played. But she had to admit that Angelo attracted her.

"Don't be shy, boy. How about we have some fun?"

She got close to Angelo and started to touch "his" t.h.i.g.h. Angelo got angry. She kicked the girl away and turned to leave.

Seeing that, Doris was happy. She looked at the girls and smiled wickedly.

"How dare you touch my man!"

She asked the guards to teach them a lesson and drive them away. The bar was her industry.

When she chased out after doing that, Angelo was nowhere.

She was annoyed, but there was firmness in her eyes. She clenched her fist and made up her mind.

The Thorne family and the Taylor family had been trying to firm their connections through marriage, but Doris had always disagreed.

She knew Angelo had a fiancée, but she didn't care about it at all. To her, the Hill family was nothing.

Right now, Angelo just walked around. She decided not to go to the bar anymore. Thinking of what happened just now, she felt sick.

Just then, Absolon called her. Angelo answered the phone.

"Where are you, Mr. Angelo? Miss Doris has gone home. I'm coming to pick you up now."

Angelo looked around and told him the place she was at.

Soon, Absolon got to her.

In the car, Angelo had a headache. She rubbed her temple and asked Absolon, "When will Drake finish the meeting?"

"In two or three hours."

"Yeah," she answered gently.

Bearing the headache, she got to the kitchen with Absolon. There was nobody in the kitchen; the cooks had left on Absolon's order.

Thinking about Drake's favorite food, Angelo set to work on it. Two hours later, the dinner was ready.

Angelo thought Drake was about to come and asked the waiter to serve the food. Looking at the food, she felt something was missing.

Just then, the waiter asked in French if Angelo needed some wine.

Right, that was what she wanted.

She asked for two bottles of red wine in French. The scene was caught by Drake, who just came back.

He wondered if Angelo was poor in French, but now she talked so fluently.

"Oh, Drake. I cooked for you. Come and eat."

Angelo was thrilled to see Drake. She made all this for Drake.

Infected by her enthusiasm and joy, Drake felt happy. He sat down and tasted one dish.

"Well?"

Angelo supported her face with both hands, looking at Drake with expectation. Drake paused for a moment and then said, "It's okay." Then, he took another bite of the dish.

Seeing that, Angelo knew Drake liked it, and he just wouldn't say it.

At this moment, the waiter came with the wine and poured it for both of them.

"Cheers, Drake."

With that, she drained the glass of red wine, which mixed with the c.o.c.ktail she drank before and started to affect her senses.

"Why do I feel dizzy?"

Angelo rubbed her temple as she spoke to herself. Her cheeks flushed.

Drake squinted, took a sip of the wine, and was confused.

The wine was not strong. Angelo should not be drunk for one cup. Why did she look drunk?

"Help with yourself, brother."

Seeing Drake stopped eating, Angelo picked up some food for Drake. However, due to her blurred vision, it fell onto Drake's shirt rather than his plate.

Drake had to take the tissue to clean up the stain.

"Let me help you, Drake."

Keeping the mission in mind, Angelo stumbled over to Drake with a tissue in her hand.

Drake stood up and stepped back.

"No, thanks."

"I can help you, Drake," Angelo said, smiling insinuatingly. She grabbed Drake by the collar and tried to pull him over.

At the sound of the tear, Drake's white shirt was torn to reveal his delicate collarbone and perfect figure.

Angelo took a deep breath. She had seen many bodies before, but none of them were as perfect as Drake.

Due to the alcohol, she wasn't quite afraid of Drake now. She threw the tissue away and stepped forward to touch Drake's abs.

"What are you doing?"

Drake shivered as he felt the cold touch and looked at Angelo.

Now, she touched him with both hands with an intoxicated look. And she kept smacking her lips.

Drake's ears blushed. Looking at Angelo like this, he had a strange feeling.

For a moment, he pushed Angelo out of the way, turned, and went into the bathroom.

As the cold water fell on him, he came to himself. He took a shower and then toweled himself as he walked out.

He didn't find Angelo in the living room and went to his room.

As soon as he got into bed, a pair of delicate hands wrapped around his waist. Drake froze for a moment, pulled up the quilt, and there, sure enough, was Angelo.

"Cold."
