Since he wouldn't come back these days, it must be because of her, and it must be for the daytime issue.

The more she thought about it, the bitter she felt. Just then, a phone interrupted her thinking. She took her phone up and found that it was from Daisy, then she answered it.

"What's the matter, Daisy?"

On Twitter, she learned that Daisy was dating Darren, so she shouldn't call her if it is not for something important.

"Yeah. Karol wants me to inform you of an invitation to a show. She has agreed to it for you, so you should go to it tomorrow."

Since Daisy was Angelo's assistant, she had to do her job well. But she didn't sound very happy now because she had to end the date because of this issue.

"What kind of show?" asked Angelo seriously.

She was on the rise of her career now. Though Karol's decision was good for her development, she had to know the details of the job.

"Well…" Daisy hemmed and hawed but could not answer. She was irritated when she answered the call, so she didn't listen carefully to Karol, that she didn't even remember the name of the show.

"All right. I knew I couldn't count on you."

From Daisy's hesitation, Angelo knew she knew nothing about the show. Now she finally understood why Clarence didn't allow Daisy to be her agent.

Daisy knew she wasn't responsible enough, so she was kind of guilty. "How about I check it for you, dear?" she asked cautiously, lowering her head.

"Don't worry about it. I'll call you later."

Usually, when a show was sure about its guests, it would @ them on Twitter. So, Angelo just needed to log on to her Twitter to see who @ her.

Daisy had never worked as an assistant before, so she couldn't think of these. While she was hesitating whether to do some investigation about the show, Angelo called her.

"Well, do you know which show it is?" asked Daisy.

Angelo hesitated before telling her the name of the show, "It's Poking At You."

Daisy stayed when she heard that. She knew the show, which was famous for poking at celebrities' private affairs, making the guests feel embarrassed. Though she didn't know much about showbiz, she knew it was a show for a newcomer.

"Wait, Angelo. I'll talk to Karol to refuse it."

Daisy thought Glamor was putting Angelo on the spot, which she stood. But she didn't understand why Glamor did that.

For fear of Daisy doing something, Angelo tried to comfort her, "I can do this. Don't worry."

The show was indeed a big challenge for newcomers, but she wasn't a newcomer. In her last life as Angela, she had been on this show and made a great performance. So, she believed that she could handle this now.

And she knew why Glamor arranged it for her. With the best actress selection just around the corner, they wanted to increase the visibility for Angelo.

This show had a high exposure because of its uniqueness. So, as long as she seized the chance, she could earn a name for herself in a short time.

Glamor must have made a bet because of her excellent performance in acting.

But Daisy knew nothing about all these, she hesitated for a while before asked in concern, "Can you handle this, Angelo?"

Angelo heard the concern from Daisy's tone and felt touched. To lessen Daisy's worry, she teased, "Don't worry. It's just a small show, and it can't hinder me from becoming the movie queen."

It did help, Daisy relieved and teased, "You are indeed not humble."

Then she checked the time and warned, "Come to Green early tomorrow morning. I'll prepare clothes for the show." She didn't forget her duty as Angelo's assistant.

Angelo thought about it and smiled. She came back for the file, which didn't seem to be here. Besides, Drake wasn't here. So she needn't be here anymore.

"Don't worry. I'll go back tonight."

Daisy was surprised to hear that but then thought of something. Then she cautiously asked, "Isn't Drake home?"

"Yeah. He may be frightened by me today, so he left," said Angelo helplessly.

But she had her plans. Since Drake couldn't accept her as a man, she could approach him as Angeline, he then couldn't refuse her, she thought. She decided to pursue her love.

She had thought everything through. If Drake couldn't fall in love with her in the final, she would leave the Thorne family after the revenge.

"All right. I'll go to Green, too."

As soon as Daisy finished her words, she hung up.

Angelo smiled, thinking that Daisy was still that impatient girl.

When she got downstairs, she thought of something and made an excuse to Hale, "I'll go to a party at my classmate's home, and I'll stay there for some time."

After that, she drove to leave.

She told Hale that because she needed to cover her traces when Drake asked. But thinking of Drake's leave, she still felt bitter.

After such an incident, would Drake ask Hale about her? She asked herself inside.

Well, forgot about it, Angelo thought, she now was Angeline, a woman. Thinking like that, she stepped on the accelerator.

When she arrived at the house at Green, she took a quick shower and then went to bed.

The next day, there was a regular knock on the door.

Angelo was kind of used to it. Half-awake, she washed up and had breakfast. Then Daisy started to dress her up.

When she saw the gorgeous dress on her, sleepiness vanished. She turned to Daisy and helplessly looked at her.

"I'm just on a show, I won't walk the red carpet, honey. I can dress casually."

"No. It's your first show. You have to dress gorgeous. Well, I think you look perfect."

With that, Daisy glanced over Angelo with satisfaction. Sure enough, Angelo was more charming in her finery, she thought.

Angelo tried to make Daisy change this decision, but Daisy wouldn't give in. They spent too much time on this problem, so when they arrived at the recording scene, the show was about to start.
