Suddenly a jolt of lighting ran through the air.

My hair lifted up a bit before a crash of thunder rang through the cave.

CRACK

It split apart half the wave of crawlers, letting us back up a bit.

"Thanks," We all say to Sophia, who just passed out due to overexertion.

Though we were safe now, death was quickly approaching us as even more crawlers poured from the ceiling.

Everybody was exhausted, but we kept pushing through.

I kept glancing over at my status just so once I was about to run out of mana, I could "hide" behind the other girls who were probably struggling more than me.

It was a shitty idea, but I had an idea that I would most likely end up regretting later.

BAM

I was slammed by a snake tail up towards the ceiling, but before I could kick myself off the ceiling, I felt a sharp pain penetrate my back.

My vision instantly went blurry, and I knew what had happened… I was stung by one of the crawlers.

Panic immediately set in as I knew the venom or poison that these things created was enough to kill five grown men with just a few drops.

BAM

I crashed into the ground, and even as crawlers descended towards my limp body.

And even as Clio began to heal me desperately… I only had a few thoughts that flooded my mind.

"I have to do it," I muttered to myself, my vision now completely gone and my sense of touch eradicated from existence.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Clio asks as Aria's light knight begins to defend us.

"Hey… Will you hate me if I said I was a monster?"

"I-I don't know! Stop talking! Your pulse is dropping drastically!" Clio shouts, closing my eyelids for me.

"Please don't hate me," I mutter.

"I-I won't hate you, okay, so just stop talking! You're dying so fast I don't know if I'll be able to save you!"

My hearing quickly faded as soon as Clio stopped talking.

'Okay… I also have a secret to tell all of you… I'm a monster… With a system that has helped me a lot… So please don't hate me… I beg of you… Please don't hate me,' I manage to squeeze out through the hivemind.

I opened up my inventory above me through sheer willpower, shocking Clio as a red liquid poured out from it.

It flowed into my mouth, and I began to choke on it, so Clio immediately tilted my body up.

Swallowing it was much easier now.

"*sigh*... Much better," I mutter before catching the glass bottle that fell out of my inventory and ŀɨċkɨnġ my lips.

"W-what the hell," Clio mutters as my pupils flash a dark green color and the sclera of my eyes turns a solid pitch black.

[Necromancy]

Green flames erupted from the crawler corpses, reviving them from the dead.

A cloud of black and green mist slowly seeped out from my mouth as I felt every broken bone in my body set into place by itself.

"L-Lucy?" Clio mutters, so I turn around.

My eyes were somehow colder than when I had the frozen bone crown on my head.

"Do you hate me?"

Clio was silent as she stared at me for quite a while, unmoving from her spot that was surrounded by freshly revived crawlers.

The green flames displayed their excitement to be back in battle, ready to fight for me.

"THAT'S SO COOL! WHY DID YOU NEVER TELL US ABOUT THIS?!" Clio asks, her eyes practically sparkling like a kid on Christmas morning.

"B-because…"

"Tell me! Tell me! Tell me!" Clio chanted, and all the other girls looked in my direction.

And to my surprise, they were all fascinated by my revealed skills.

Especially Clio, who couldn't close her dropped jaw.

I couldn't help but chuckle to myself after feeling endless relief wash over me.

After feeling weak, I dropped to my knees while my necromanced summons took care of the rest of the crawlers.

And each time they were wiped out, I'd just use [Necromancy] again and again.

My mana was about to deplenish, but I filled my stomach with mana potions, reinvigorating me and my status.

The only thing I couldn't change was my stamina which was being consumed by my summons.

It wasn't consumed as fast as mana, but it was still draining.

The girls had millions of questions, and I answered most until I saw a notification that made me smile so wide you'd think I'd gone insane.

[Evolution is available]

"Why are you so happy?" Nell asks as she pulls Sophia's limp body with her.

"Hey, be gentler," Astra says, but Nell just rolled her eyes before focusing on me.

"I can evolve,"

"Huh?" Everybody says simultaneously.

"You didn't hear me say it through the hivemind?" I ask, and everybody looks confused, besides Clio.

Ah… They didn't hear it.

I opened my mouth to inform them, but it felt as if the words were stuck in my throat.

I even tried to inform them through the hivemind, but I just couldn't bring myself to tap into it in the first place.

"She's a monster. Like literally," Clio says.

My eyes shifted towards her, and the black in my sclera reeled back into my skull.

"Y-yeah… What she said,"

I looked at the other girls, who were a bit confused and seemingly tried to avoid what Clio had just said as if it was complete bullshit.

Okay… I-I guess it's not the right time.

KEKEKEKEKE

The awkward moment was quickly interrupted by another wave of crawlers that spewed out from the hole in the ceiling.

"How did you manage to see that?" Mia asks.

"Instinct… I guess,"

[Necromancy]

I used the skill once again, reviving the remaining crawlers, but I felt my consciousness waver as my stamina was almost completely gone.

"I-I need to rest for a bit," I mutter, sitting falling down onto the hard stone floor below me.

"It's fine, and we'll take care of the rest," Mia says, patting my head gently.

It's comforting…

"How intriguing…" A calm yet weird voice says.

It was scratchy, dark, and disturbing like a pit of thick blood.

"A draconic bird… A draconic suċċubus coated in flames… A draconic empress of light and darkness… One dranocic vampire countess… One vampiric dragon… A dragon basked in sunlight… A dragon shrouded by shadows… Surprisingly, two plane walkers… A dragon born from the depths of the ocean… A dragon born from within a glacier… A draconic mermaid born from within the trenches of the deep sea… and finally, a regular human… How very intriguing,"

The demonic voice echoed through the cave.

It had a demonic undertone with each word it spoke, sending chills down our spines as we looked up at the massive hole in the ceiling.

A single string fell from the hole, limply waving as something slid down it.
