"A draconic bird… A draconic suċċubus coated in flames… A draconic empress of light and darkness… One dranocic vampire countess… One vampiric dragon… A dragon basked in sunlight… A dragon shrouded by shadows… Surprisingly, two plane walkers… A dragon born from the depths of the ocean… A dragon born from within a glacier… A draconic mermaid born from within the trenches of the deep sea… and finally, a regular human… How very intriguing,"

The loud voice echoed through the cave.

It had a demonic undertone with each word it spoke, sending chills down our spines as we looked up at the massive hole in the ceiling.

A single string fell from the hole, limply waving as something slid down it.

A humanoid figure that became less humanoid the more it slid down the thick string.

Pale white skin, a slender body, long pink hair with white highlights, two large eyes, and two smaller eyes beneath them.

"It's been a while since I've run into such interesting prey," The woman says.

Eight spider legs with blades as feet slowly unfurled from her back, curling around her like a ribcage.

"Ah, we finally ran into one, but… It's way too strong," Amanda says, her face completely pale from the bloodlust being emitted by the monster in front of us.

"That isn't a Crawler Queen," Mia mutters as we all slowly back up.

She continued to stare at us, causing bullets of sweat to slide down our neck and face.

Bum

Our backs hit a stone wall.

And as soon as we glanced back to check our position, the woman dropped down from her string that she held on to with her slender fingers.

Not a sound came from her feet hitting the ground, and the white robes that she wore fluttered like beautiful buŧŧerflies in spring.

"Tsk, tsk, don't run away now. You'll make me feel lonely," The woman mutters, raising her hands upwards.

Crawlers began to flow from the open hole in the ceiling, causing our faces to pale even more.

My necromanced minions went to dispose of them quickly, but somehow, they froze in place with one glance from the mysterious woman.

"What the hell," I mutter before glancing at the other girls who were too tired mentally and physically to continue.

I clicked my tongue in disappointment in myself.

I had all this power, but I was still so scared of revealing my true self to the people I trusted the most.

"Fine, you bastard… Do you like fire?" I ask the monster.

"Mmmmm… It's alright, I guess. It's gorgeous, but sometimes it can be destructive," She says as if she is reminiscing about something.

[Lesser Quetzalcoatl's Fire of Death (Black Lava)]

It had a long name, but it was a powerful skill that caused black flames to pour from my mouth and from my fingertips.

I didn't care about the confused looks coming from the other girls as I managed to bring myself to stand with the very minimal amount of stamina I had left.

"Uhhhhh… Can I do it?" I ask.

"Sure, seems you have more in you than we thought," Everybody else said synchronized.

I took a deep breath, slowing down my heartbeat.

The slow thumping of my heart drowned out the sound of crawlers dashing towards us.

I breathed out a long breath of fire that had a similar consistency to water.

My body was filled with an unknown energy source, and my muscles filled to the brim with power.

My overall senses were so sharp that I could even hear the blood flowing in the crawlers' bodies.

I swung my arm upwards, creating a blade of fire that ripped through the air, tearing a large wave of crawlers apart.

The woman clicked her tongue before charging towards me, nothing but her fists in hand.

She seemed confident she could beat me in a one versus one, so I kept my distance using blades and pillars of fire to keep her back.

She was clearly either scared or wary of the fire as she never took risks when I activated my skill.

We circled around the cave a few times while Amanda's giant lizard protected the

girls from the endless amount of crawlers.

The woman's objective was clear as day to me, but still, I couldn't do anything about it.

First, tire me out as I was the biggest threat. Second, completely overwhelm the other girls, so I have to protect them, causing me to let my guard down.

Dammit… I only have about three minutes left in this state.

I felt unstoppable, but that was only a feeling.

In reality, if I wasn't careful, I could die within only a split second.

…

"HUFF HUFF HUFF HUFF… Shit," I mutter, trying to sit up, but most of the ribs on the left side of my body had been shattered.

I didn't even know if my regeneration could recover a shattered rib, but I had to rely on it to survive.

"Ack,"

I coughed up a pool of blood that stained my newly bought white pants.

The empowered state I was in had about ten seconds left, but the girls decided to let me have a few more minutes with it, causing them to faint and forcing me to protect their bodies.

"Tsk, tsk… Disappointing, and I thought I'd get a better fight from somebody with draconic blood flowing through their veins… Also, it seems you are the first to awaken the system in the… what plane are you from?" The woman asks, completely ignoring the blade of fire that I just sent flying towards her face.

"W-what's a plane?" I mutter.

She stared at me a bit before speaking up but entirely ignoring my question.

"You see, your skill is quite good from what I can see on your status, but it's just you suck at using it,"

I glared at her, but she just ignored me before stomping on my shin, snapping it in half.

I screamed in pain but still had every intention of protecting the girls behind me.

She glanced at me, seemingly enjoying my tearful and desperate screams.

"Oh my, you're quite determined. Anyways, I accessed this dungeon for a bit just to check you guys out… but I guess I'll give you a hint. Go to…. Ummmmm… Is it called Germany? Yeah, Germany. You should find your answer in a dungeon there…." The woman says before opening a portal behind her and slowly walking into it.

It was the same type of portal all dungeon runners would enter to go fulfill their lives and survive in this terrible world of greed and destruction.

"Haha… I'm so done," I mutter, closing my eyes and feeling myself slowly drift off into the land of drea-

"Oh wait, let me resume the dungeon,"

The woman had come back, creating a new portal for her to re-enter the dungeon.

She had a serious expression on this time, and her bloodlust was overflowing for some reason.

It completely surpassed the braves, myself, anything I had ever read in the history of humanity.

It was utterly suffocating, and mixed with the pressure being admitted from her presence; my fractured bones instantly snapped into pieces.

"ARGHH!" I screamed.

"Oh, my bad," She says, closing her eyes.

The pressure and bloodlust then lowered by at least 99%, returning to what I had previously felt when I fought her.

"What a monster," I mutter.

"Thanks," She says, re-entering the portal and leaving the dungeon.

I couldn't help but heave a long sigh as soon as I saw that she was gone.

I had so many questions. I was mentally exhausted, physically exhausted, and just completely done with this dungeon.

The surviving crawlers all began to look around in confusion as if they had just snapped out of a trance.

They then began to huddle into a group and walk towards the edge of the cave while my neceromanced crawlers fell into piles of bone.

A hole in the wall.

There was a hole in the wall.

In fact, there were multiple massive holes in the wall.

And the one that the crawlers entered was the one straight in front of me, so I immediately noted it in my mind.

"Actually… we're they… always there?" I mutter before fainting.

…

When I woke up again, I noticed that I was in an entirely endless black plane.

The sky was black.

The floor was black.

I had no body.

But the one thing that stood out the most was the two panels in front of me.

I didn't know how to feel about them as I was still confused at what had just happened with what I thought was the dungeon's boss.

Maybe it was god?
