A/N - Short chapter since I'm mentally exhausted right now. It's not from writing but also personal things so plz forgive me for now. Should be back to normal by tomorrow or the day after.

I covered my smile with my hand as I continued down the hallway. Just one more turn was enough to see my first-period door. I checked the bank phone that I stuffed in my pocket and luckily it was not damaged.

The phone said that it was 8:52, so I had more than enough time to enter the class early.

I turned the handle on the white door and entered the room. Most of the students were mingling with their friends and once they noticed me enter the door, I could hear their gossip. It was mainly about the drastic changes to myself.

I ignored them and sat down on my desk at the back. It was peaceful back here since even the teacher didn't mind me as I slept through class.

Before I even got a chance to lay my head on my desk though, I noticed some girls come up to me. I knew who they were, some of my "friends" that gave me up for their own safety. Snake bitches…

"H-hey Lucy… d-do you want to hang out with us sometime again?" Says Daniella.

She was the one who approached me first when we first met. She seemed nice and fun to hang out with, but every once in a while I could see her come to class, littered with bruises. This happened because she didn't have an ability.

It's not like I was the only poor person attending the school. Many poor but smart teens were able to survive in this school… well it was more like they were able to keep attending even without lots of money due to them excelling academically.

I look up at Daniella and stare directly into her eyes. She didn't even notice that my eye color changed due to the chill that was sent straight down her spine. Her eyes avoided my gaze while her 3 other friends sitting across the room were confused by her reaction.

"I-its fine. Y-you don't have to come if you don't want to," Daniella says before quickly walking back to her friends.

I just sighed as I then heard the classroom door slam open. It was a professor about 5'10 in height while also being thin. His black hair was slickly combed back with glasses resting on his face.

"Why does every professor in this school look like a dɨċk," I chuckle to myself.

Everybody quickly shuffles back to their seat before the professor sets down his 2 binders on his desk. He then presses a buŧŧon on his desk which turns on a screen that was embedded into the wall.

"Time to take another nap," I say.

I lay my head down but hear some interesting words come from the professor's mouth.

"Today, we will be learning about the 6 Primordial Braves. Normally the public doesn't have access to this information but the headmaster has successfully obtained some of the information. You poor rats crawling through this school should be honored, that you can even be in the presence of this information," says the professor, looking at all the "poor rats" and eventually me.

Doesn't even try to hide his discontent. But this topic is interesting, not many people even know what they look like… I guess I'll pay attention.

Suddenly the face of a young, good-looking man, pale white skin with long blonde hair was displayed on the screen. His golden eyes gave off a sense of nobility that could only be obtained by great leaders.

"This here is the first primordial brave, the brave of light. Just like his name describes, he was able to produce light from his palms but also manipulate any amount of light within his vision.

Oh yeah, just a reminder but the pictures shown on the screen are only an auto-generated face that was made with descriptions given by the UC (A/N - UC means United Countries. Refer back to the prologue if you don't remember what it is)," says the professor.

The screen changes again, showing a middle-aged man with dark brown skin. His short black hair matched well with his growing beard.

"This here is the second primordial brave, the brave of fire. He was able to produce a bright red flame that was said to burn anything it touches. He was also able to manipulate any fire that was within his eyesight, including fire created by other power users," the professor says.

Next, was another young man who was Asian and slightly handsome. Wavy brown hair encased his head and he had a few piercings on his ears.

"This here is the third primordial brave, the brave of summoning. In the beginning, he was only able to summon a goblin-"

The whole class burst out in laughter once they heard what their professor just said. A brave that was only capable of summoning the lowest tier monster, a goblin! That's the worst joke they have ever heard in their life.

"SHUT UP!" The professor says, snapping at the students.

Everybody goes silent before the professor continues.

"As I was saying before, he STARTED with only summoning a goblin. He was pretty special though since he was then able to tame any monster he defeated. His method of taming is unknown but once it was tamed, he is then able to summon it through normal summoning methods,"

Next, a woman with light brown skin appeared on the screen. She was wearing a headband made from flowers that held back her long black hair. She was beautiful with her dark brown eyes enhancing her image even further.

"This is the fourth primordial brave, the brave of plants. She can only manipulate plants and can't create any from scratch. She was once able to manipulate an entire forest into becoming a plant giant, hundreds of meters tall," the professor says.

A 5th picture appears on the screen and it was that of a pale white woman. She had long white hair with gentle white eyes. A benevolent smile matched her gentle eyes, creating the image of a saint or goddess.

"This is the fifth primordial brave, the brave of healing. She can create white particles that can heal any wound instantly. It could range from a small paper cut, too regrowing your entire waist and below.

These are just some rumors that I heard, but she might've had wings that were that of an angel, but I wouldn't be too surprised if she did. Also, there was a rumor of her being able to revive the dead… but that is just a rumor, so don't get too excited," explained the professor.

Finally, the last brave appeared on the screen. My jaw dropped when I saw the icy beauty displayed. She had a face of indifference with blue, ice-cold eyes that seemed to peer into your soul. Light blue hair that flowed from her head… yeah, it was the woman that saved me.

"This is the sixth and final primordial brave, the brave of ice. She can create ice out of thin air and can manipulate any ice that other power users create. She is the most heartless brave out of the six, while the other 5 had trouble killing evil humans in the beginning, she was able to kill them without hesitation.

The most important part about her would be that she is capable of slowing down a body's aging process, allowing it to not age at all no matter how much time passes. This is why there are rumors of her still being alive, while the rest of the braves have passed away,"

Some of the kids snickered at their pathetic beginning since they were already treating poorer students like flies and some had even killed other humans already.

While the professor started to go on about the primordial braves and their achievements, I sat on my chair, digesting the information I just heard.

Maybe I'm mistaken. It could be her children, or maybe even her grandchildren. Plus, why would she even save me? There was no benefit in saving a helpless child in this world.

As I continued to ponder and fact check by shuffling through my memories, I didn't even realize class had passed by quickly.

DING DONG… DING DONG… DING DONG…

The bell went off, waking me up from my deep thought.. I just concluded that it was one of her children or grandchildren that saved me while pushing the lingering thoughts to the back of my head.
