Chapter 158: Bandit Hideouts (2)

Every bandit around us had their heads cut off, their blood spewing across the ordinary slum civilians.

"AHHHHHH!" I heard a woman scream at the top of her lungs.

"Tasty," I heard Clio mutter as she licked her dagger, which began to slowly form into a small sickle.

What a weirdo…

We didn't even step in as Clio completely massacred everybody here in this gambling den, and as soon as the power stone users from before came, they were killed as well.

"Girl, we needed to keep them alive," I said, tightly gripping her shoulder.

"Ah, my bad," She responds, and Mia undoes the illusion around us.

"Mia, we stuck out like sore thumbs. You could've at least made us less hot and looked more like bandits," Electra says, but her face says the complete opposite.

She was drooling all over the floor.

"Mhm… Anyway, this place is useless now. I think we killed all the power stone users," I speak up, and Clio flinches a bit.

"Look, I said I'm sorry," She apologizes once again before tossing her sickles into the air, turning them into the sand.

"Well, at least we were able to see your new capabilities," I responded before the maid led us out of the gambling den.

The people around us were pitiful… but we didn't have an ounce of pity to give to them as everybody here was working with the bandits.

"Should we just kill them all?" Clio asks a sadistic smile slowly forming on her face.

"No, leave them be," Celestine interrupts Clio's formation of some sandstone sickles, which were sharper than any blade I had ever seen.

Soon, we left the place and arrived at a massive building which was in the city and of course we were shown this by my maid.

"Are there any strong ones?" Nell asks before cracking her neck because it seems she wanted to take on the place.

"Currently, nobody should be able to kill you. Miss Nell is too strong," My maids say, causing Nell to smile a bit from the ego stroke.

Upon seeing her smile, we all rolled our eyes and she qucikly entered the building.

…

(Nell POV)

As soon as I entered the building, a whiff of smoke filled my lungs.

I turned my head and noticed a few people were smoking right next to me and they looked like the typical thug.

Built, tall, and a face that seemed to be always glaring.

"What'ddya want?" He asks.

Lately, I've noticed that everybody here basically only speaks English instead of Arabic which I'm not going to complain about.

"Visit your business?" I responded with a smile.

"We only take private customers… Do you have an appointment?" One of the men in black suits asks.

"Yeah. I have one with your boss,"

"What's the code given to you?"

Code? Well… I guess the fun starts now.

"I don't have a code," I responded, and just as I finished speaking, a fist approached me.

WHOOSH

But it stopped right before it hit me, leaving the two men to sweat as they were frozen still by my [Body Manipulation] skill.

Well, everybody in the building was now frozen so I took my sweet time slitting every single throat and the shaking eyes of everybody within sight were so sweet.

I took my time to dine on their blood as unlike Clio, I actually liked the taste of blood.

Her licking the blood off her sickle before was just to act cool…

"Why is Clio so edgy? She's the edgiest edge lord of all edgy edge lords," I chuckled to myself before slitting a receptionist's throat with my spear made of blood.

I used twin spears but both of them were different from each other.

First of all, the one I held in my left hand was a bit shorter, like a javelin while the one in my right hand was much longer, like something you'd see used in an ancient war.

After half an hour of taking my sweet time, climbing up the building, and killing everybody within sight, I suddenly realized I had to keep them alive.

"Ah… Lucy is gonna yell at me," I muttered before dashing up the stairs, all the way to the penthouse where I found the boss, frozen in place.

He was clearly quite afraid of me… but his frozen position…

"I didn't even use the skill on you in order to make this more interesting," I said and all of a sudden, the man dressed in a black suit jumped up from his chair and tried to bash through the wall of glass behind him.

SHING

But I stopped him by throwing my shorter spear through his leg, tying him down to the floor.

"Call everybody up here… well, what's left of them," I ordered the man and he immediately clicked a button on his desk.

"P-please spare me," He begged, causing me to chuckle a bit.

I snapped my fingers, allowing all the bandits within the building to come upstairs and the ones who wanted to escape… well, I guess they were slaughtered by the girls.

Plus, that also means they aren't as loyal and most likely aren't as strong… I want the strong ones, not any weak ones.

"Oho, there's much more than I thought," I blurted out loud as soon as the boss confirmed that was everybody… which I didn't believe but as there were tons of strong power users, I didn't really mind.

"I-Is there anything you would like?" The boss asks as he hands me a glass of blood which I immediately drank.

I then swirled the glass as I leaned back in the comfortable office chair.

"Guess I'm gonna have to take a page out of Clio's book of edginess… And yes, I want something…I want your life,"

SHING

The boss's head fell to the floor, rolling to the feet of the strong power stone users.

"Now, do any of the girls here like girls because there is a desperate woman always around me that is begging for a girlfriend… Potentially she can wife you up," I said as Ethel's complaints were getting really annoying.

Silence.

Poor Ethel.
