All the teachers evacuated the students to the edge of the field. The incoming students who just came through the portal were confused but quickly followed the teacher's instructions once they saw the purple lightning.

"Everyone go home! Make sure to go all the way around the school's premises and don't go near the forming portal! By the looks of it, it will fully form in approximately 30 seconds!" The headmaster shouts.

Auntie and the last group just came through the portal and Auntie didn't seem to be shocked by it. Her cold expression seemed to grow even colder and the sky started to coincidentally pour rain.

Auntie walks towards the portal with a blast of ice unleashing from the soles of her feet. It was enough to turn the pouring rain into hail. A blizzard seemed to swirl around her as the remaining students who haven't left yet, looked in awe at the sight presented to them.

"36… 35… 34… 33… 32…"

Auntie kept counting down and once she reached 1, the portal fully formed. To everyone's surprise, monsters started to burst out of the portal and they seemed to be enraged. Not just the normal running out of the portal but their eyes were bloodshot and veins were popping out from every limb.

There were many quick conversations about how this was possible and truthfully, I was shocked as well. Monsters were only supposed to come out of the portal after about a week or so… but these monsters instantly came out of the portal.

It seems the headmaster already knew about this since evacuation from the vicinity of a forming portal was unnecessary.

As I scan the area, I see Mia and the rest of Tolf observing from afar. They were mostly calm but there was also a lot of confusion. None were scared but more confused at how this irregularity had happened.

"Yo," I say walking over to the group.

"Yo," Mia replies with some of the group members responding and the others just waving back.

"You girls want to get dinner?" Mia asks as soon as I arrive.

"Yeah, the Brave of Ice should be able to handle this," A girl from the blood river family says.

"What? Really? I want to watch this. It's not every day you get to see a Primordial Brave go all out," Aria says.

"Yeah, I want to watch this as well. Y'all are clowns if you don't want to see this once-in-a-lifetime battle," The green-haired girl from before says.

"It should be fast anyway, let's just watch it," A girl from the Porter family says.

I need to learn their names… I only know Aria and Mia, nobody else.

We all decided to watch the fight since it was a one-sided slaughter. What came out of the portal were all hobgoblins with equipment such as ċhėst plates, spears, and shields. They've locked onto Auntie but Auntie just stood still as her ice and snow did the work.

There was a thickly condensed layer of ice within a 10-meter radius of her, making the hobgoblins slip. The frozen wind would then freeze them into a block of ice and if that didn't take them out, then the icy wind that they inhaled would be turned into spears that pierced them from the inside out.

It tore apart the hobgoblins below it as it charged at Auntie. She didn't flinch in the slightest as she lifted her arm and slammed it down. Parts of the blizzard spinning around her started to envelop the ugly thing which tried to fight back but eventually fell on its buŧŧ.

It continued to fight aimlessly as frost appeared on its body and it roared in pain. Small icicles started to protrude from every part of its body, causing green blood to gush out.

We all sat there for a good 30 seconds before coming back to our senses when the blizzard surrounding the portal and Auntie had disappeared. The portal had slowly started to crumble and when the last gush of cold wind swept by us, Auntie had disappeared.

"She didn't even wave or anything… Alright, let's get dinner," Mia says.

We soon exited school grounds and walked through the still bright New York City. We got many stares with many different reactions. Most knew who some of the group members were and they either respected or resented them deeply.

"I guess I haven't introduced myself yet and I don't even know half of your names," I say as we aimlessly walk through New York, trying to find a nice restaurant to eat at.

"That's true,"

"Ah yeah, I forgot about that,"

"I guess some of us still don't know each other as well,"

"You go first then,"

"Sure, my name is Lucy Amana. Not from any significant family… power stone is related to ice," I say.

"I'm Mia Lachnes, first in line for inheritance within my family and my power stone is related to a special blue fire which is an S-rank stone," Mia says.

"Aria Balthasar, second in line for inheritance within my family, and my power stone is related to summoning a light knight and dark knight… it's also an S-rank power stone by the way," Aria says.

"Astra Bloodriver, ummmm… second in line for inheritance within my family and my power stone is related to well… blood. I manipulate the blood within a monster or person to a certain degree, but if their body is stronger than what I can handle, then I can't do anything… You know since people with power stones have stronger bodies… so it's only good for controlling weaklings… A-rank stone by the way," A girl about 5'10 in height said.

She had blood-red hair which didn't look much different compared to Mia's. She also had very noble but also creepy-looking dark red eyes that contrasted with her pale skin, making her appearance close to a vampire.

"Guess I'll go next… Nell Bloodriver, fourth in line for inheritance within my family, and my power stone is also related to blood. I can harden blood and then manipulate it however I want but if I try to control fluid blood then it won't do anything. It's an A-rank stone just like my cousin," A girl about my height says.

She looked pretty similar besides the white highlights that she put in her blood-red hair. It looked… alright on her, but I won't judge her decision. Her blood-red eyes and pale skin made her look like a vampire as well.

She also had some makeup on which was rare within Tolf. Everybody was already naturally beautiful but I guess she wasn't comfortable with her appearance.

"I'm Amanda Balthasar, proud cousin of Aria and I'm third in line for inheritance. My power stone allows me to summon a massive lizard about the size of most smaller offices in New York. I like her a lot and we've grown up together ever since I received her… I'm pretty sure she was an A-rank power stone if I can remember properly," The green-haired girl from before says.

She was about 5'7 or maybe even 5'8. Long dark green hair flowed to her waist and she had normal white skin instead of the pale skin that the Bloodriver girls had. Finally her eyes were black like her cousin.

"I've been wanting to ask you, but why is your hair dark green while Aria's hair is dark blue. Did your dad have an affair or something…? Oh, my bad, my name is Clio Porter, and that's Clio with an 'i' instead of 'e.' My power stone is related to healing and dimensional pocket… I'm just support since I can apply buffs as well, but if you really want me to, I can use debuffs which most of the time can kill my opponents. S-rank power stone by the way…"

Clio had brown hair and tanned skin. She had golden eyes which were very cool in my opinion and she also had… a tattoo? Why would she get a tattoo?

It was a black, helix-like tattoo that crawled up the left side of her neck. I wondered why she got one but I guess you don't have to follow the laws if you can bribe so I won't even question it.

"I dyed my hair this color… I don't know… I just really don't like the dark green hair color. My family let me do it so I instantly took up the opportunity," Aria says, hands supporting the back of her head.

"Pretty *snicker* cool…" Clio laughs to herself silently.

"What?" Aria responds, seeing Clio's reaction.

"It's just really funny to imagine you with dark green hair… looks pretty funny to me… nobody? Just me? Alright, whatever…" Clio says, failing at making the group laugh.

But, a few seconds later, some of us including me did start to laugh slightly, because of her fail.

"Wow, that's pretty rare, Lucy smiled," Mia says.
