"Yo, can you give us the name of your underworld supplier?" Mia asks.

Hmmm… Mia never talked about this? But, it's not like this information will be useless, so we might as well squeeze everything we can out of them.

"W-what are you talking about! AHHHHHH!"

I pressed into the woman's ċhėst even harder, eventually feeling the cracking of her bones. The lady coughed up blood, and as she let out a breath, my foot pressed even farther, knocking the wind out of her instantly.

"S-stop…" The lady bȧrėly squeezes out.

"Then will you answer our question?" Mia says, crouching down.

"H-hell no,"

We all giggle slightly at the woman's response, clearly scaring the shit out of her.

I lift my foot off and swing frostbite down onto her arm. I only created a small scratch, but that scratch instantly turned to ice, causing instant frostbite. The other members joined in and started to peel away at her ċȯċky mentality... very slowly.

Frostbite wouldn't give away any obvious clues about who it was since ice-embedded magic weapons are pretty common. But frostbite is just a bit rarer in terms of power.

Blood splattered across the wall, but it wasn't enough for the lady to die from blood loss.

"I-I'LL TALK! I'LL TALK!" The woman shouts, tears flowing down her face.

"Nice! Well, please go ahead," Mia says.

"Terata Ypogachtia… Terata Ypogachtia is the name of the organization… so please stop… Please AHHHHHHH!"

The woman tries to beg for mercy after saying the organization's name, but we proceeded with our main objective. Slowly, Nell presses her sword against the lady's neck, inflicting as much suffering, before…

SHING… Plop

The woman's head plops to the ground as Clio pulls out a can of red spray paint. As she sprays the word "Tolf" on the blood-ridden wall, Celestine picks up the head and places it on the table. Nuala props up the woman's body on her chair before we escape back through the vent.

Of course, we still weren't going to have left any clues since Charnas family spray helps prevent blood from sticking to us. It was like we had a thin layer of super slippery plastic around our clothes and body.

Charna re-screws the hinges and tries to make it as neat as possible before following us into the vent.

Mia leads the way once again as we hear somebody force their way into the woman's room. You could hear the whimpers and choking of shock coming from behind us, but we continued to crawl towards the final target's room.

We stayed in the vents since guards had already flooded the hallways. And since Mia kept on crawling forward and turning in different directions within the ventilation system, we decided to trust her again to lead us to the next target.

After slowly crawling through the vent system for about 5 minutes, we arrived at the next targets room.

It was the same man as in the picture, and he was sitting down at his desk. 15 guards entirely made up of earth power users surrounded the desk and his chair. They were on guard while the other guards outside searched for us.

"Everyone, connect to the server," Mia whispers which we quickly follow.

'I think Charna should go in there and kill her on her own,' Mia says through the Pseudo-Hivemind.

'No, that's too risky. If you're worried about exposing our powers now, we can charge in and use our weapons. But first, do you see that red metal buŧŧon? Once we jump down there- no, Charna, you go first and press the buŧŧon. We will unscrew the vent right now, and we can jump in there once the room locks down,' I say mentally.

'Sure, I don't mind,' Charna replies.

We could hear the sounds of gears turning, and Mia lifted the vent before the lockdown system could reinforce it. We then all drop down and stretch a bit while the guards are shocked by our sudden appearance.

"Damn, it was so tight in there," Astra says, stretching her arms.

"That's what he said! Hahahaha… hehehe… hehe… girls?" Electra's laugh trails off as none of us laughed at her joke.

"Please… Please shut the hell up," Amanda says, clearly cringing.

"W-who are you guys?" A timid guard speaks up first.

Are we that scary? Or was Electra's comment that bad?

"Dan, get your shit together! Everyone charge!" A muscular man that I could only ȧssume is the leader speaks up first.

The guards charge at us with swords in hand. Their movements were quick and precise, displaying their experience. We were used to fighting in an open space, so fighting in such a compacted area greatly hindered our movement.

On top of not using our powers, the opposing team of guards was proficient in teamwork. When we thought we were about to finish off one guard, another one would come in to block it while another guard swung down their weapon towards us.

The team of guards was able to sync up instantly without even sharing a word. Sometimes they didn't even need to use glances to save each other back.

Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit.

Though we were all struggling and knew we could've wiped out this group of guards in an instant with our powers, for some reason, we all had the same thought of trying to test ourselves. We wanted to do more. We wanted more power than what we were currently at.

We had no teamwork, and that will soon be our downfall.

Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit!

'Shit!' Our voices said collectively through the pseudo-hivemind.

Suddenly, something clicked.

I blinked once.

It wasn't my eyesight. It wasn't my sense of touch. It wasn't my body.

Again, it wasn't my eyesight. It wasn't my sense of touch. And nor was it my body.

My own body was over there, and am I holding a spear? When did I start using a spear? I'm still fighting, and it's like I'm playing a third-person video game.

Another thing switched in my mind, and other people's thoughts started to flow in… they were separate, but we also influenced each other's thoughts and feelings simultaneously.

As if we were one, our movements became more connected, and we easily covered each other's weak spots. After only a few swings of our weapons, we were able to change the flow of the fight completely.

With our connected eyesight, we were able to see everything in the room.

None of us blinked. We didn't even feel the need to blink as our eyes grew cold. Our movements became more in sync as despair set into the team of guards. Our target also noticed our change and tried to run out of the room, but the metal doors wouldn't budge.

He tried to press the red metallic buŧŧon to deactivate the lockdown system, but Charna cleanly cut off his hand. He cried out in pain as he dropped to the ground, blood gushing from what used to be his arm.

The more time that passed, the more in sync we got, but it was getting risky. Any more time and our consciousnesses were going to fuse. We would've still been our own separate selves, but we were basically sharing 12 bodies.

None of the bodies were going to be ours alone…

But, the worrying thoughts soon dissipated, and our personalities snapped back to our body once the last guard's head fell.

'Is anybody else dizzy?'

'Nevermind that, what the hell just happened?'

'That is probably a taste of the full hivemind,' Mia mentally says, crouching down in exhaustion.

'Girls, we should probably finish off this guy. I can hear the footsteps of the guards on their way here,'

We all nod in agreement as Mia swings her spear once, cutting the man's head clean off. We didn't do anything to tidy up the place, so we just left the bodies there while Clio pulled out the same spray paint and wrote "Tolf" on the bloody wall.

Hearing the sound of metal being torn apart from the outside, we activated our necklaces and teleported to Iceland.
