Chapter 73: Capsules (5)

"Why are we even bringing her with us? She's dead weight," One of the stuck-up girls within the remaining members asks.
Even though I didn't feel much from the girl's comment, Mia was definitely not happy as her glare pierced right into her soul, causing her to shrink back in fear.
"What?! Are you defending this girl?!" The girl tries to push back after gathering all of her confidence into one sentence.
"And what if I am!?"
The girl clicks her tongue before snapping her head in the direction of the titan in front of us.
"OOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRR!" The titan roars, opening its jaws as we see an opportunity present itself to us.
"LET'S GO!" The leader-like boy shouts, which we didn't even need as we were already making our way in.
The smell was horrible, and as soon as the rancid breath entered my nose, I threw up with everybody around me, just bȧrėly suppressing it.
We flew faster and faster until we reached the inside of its mouth, but there was no way back as the Titan closed its massive jaws on us.
"Hold tightly onto my hand," I hear Mia's voice say, but I didn't really have that much of a hard time seeing due to my heightened senses after evolution.
"Okay," I respond to give Mia a slight sense of comfort.
After we all made sure everybody was present, Mia lit a fire in her free hand, just giving enough light for us to huddle around and warm ourselves as the temperature within the titan's mouth seemed to be below zero.
"What do we do now?" I ask the group but was instantly ignored.
"What do we do now?" The same girl who tried to pick on me earlier asked.
"We can try and attack from inside here, but I doubt any of it will work unless we find an organ which we can actually do significant damage against," The leader boy says.
"I agree," Mia says, with everybody else nodding their head.
"Okay, that settles it; we're going down, so make sure to mentally prepare yourselves," The leader boy speaks up one last time before taking in a deep breath, trying to calm his slight visible nerves.
Why are you nervous? Are you scared of the pain?
"3… 2… 1… Let's go," Mia counts down before everybody flys towards the black abyss, which was the titan's throat.
VWOOM
"You have been ejected from the capsule," I hear a robotic voice say as I blink my eyes once, revealing the real world to me.
I sat up from my lying down position and saw that I was currently in the capsule, making me tilt my head in confusion.
"Ah, sorry about that, guys and girls. It was a good idea trying to slay a tough monster from the inside. Still, as we have never actually seen the inside of a titan, we don't know how to replicate it into the training capsule," A new receptionist says as she walks into the capsule room.
Complaints filled the room once again, and as some students were pretty hungry, the teacher bought us some takeout from a Chinese food stall within the school.
Our cafeteria was pretty big.
It had a wide variety of foods ranging from Asian food to middle eastern to African to… American cause American food is a different breed.
Those different types of foods then have their own unique restaurants, which the Write family owns.
They created stalls within the cafeteria for anybody to buy food from, whether it's breakfast, lunch, or just a quick snack in between classes.
"Wanna eat with me?" Mia asks as I was sitting in the corner of the room, eating my fried rice with vegetables.
"Are you sure? Your friends don't look too happy about it," I respond after looking over to the largest group of kids in the room.
Mia's friend group was pretty large, but she only had a few close friends who were still ȧssholes. They were a mix of boys and girls, but it was predominantly boys as Mia was one of the prettiest girls in school.
"Why are you smirking?" Mia asks.
Cause those losers don't get to be your boyfriend-
"Cause I'm hungry,"
"What?"
"I'm hungry,"
Mia stares at me with a deadpan face while shifting her eyes up and down from my face to my carton of fried rice sitting in my ŀȧp.
"Come on. I promise they won't bully you," Mia says, pulling my hand causing me to stumble up.
"*sigh*... Fine," I mutter before following Mia to the large group of kids and sitting near the outskirts of the group.
Mia just continued to mingle with her friends while staying relatively close to me. But, there was one girl who continued to glare at me with no signs of giving up.
It was the same girl who kept complaining about how Mia tried to defend and from what I could remember, her name was Isabell.
About my height, blond hair with blue eyes but a feisty attitude that you could perfectly compare to a chihuahua. Her pale white skin was gorgeous, and I wouldn't be surprised if Mia wanted to date her before me.
"What do you want?" I ask Isabell as I throw my carton of fried rice towards the trash but miss completely, getting a snicker out of mostly everybody around me.
As soon as I turned around after actually throwing away the carton, I bumped into Isabell, who just stood in front of me, arms crossed and a glare that tried to put pressure on me.
"What?" I ask once again, as she didn't respond.
"I know you're trying to attract Mia's attention, and it won't work. You do know she already got a new fiance, right?" Isabell asks without showing any hint of lying.
I'm already her girlfriend, though. I don't need to attract her attention… but she got a new fiance? Why didn't she tell me?
"Heh, I bet she didn't tell you because, of course, she'd only tell the people close to her," Isabell says with a smirk.
"So… does it look like I care?" I respond but tried not to show the slowly growing uneasiness in my gut.
"Well, you should care as they've already gone on a date,"
"Lies,"
"Oh, you think I'm lying, then let me show you a picture I took with them as I accidentally bumped into them," Isabell says before pulling out her pen phone and bringing up her pictures.
There really was a picture of them with Isabell in the middle. They looked to be having fun, and Mia's supposed fiance didn't even look that good.

Ah, this isn't very pleasant. Just let me talk to Lucy!
I was currently sitting with some of my friends, talking and gossiping about random shit that just came up during school or New York… but I didn't want to do this! I wanted to talk with Lucy and maybe some of the other girls from Tolf!
'Hello, hello. Is there anybody here,' I say using the pseudo-hivemind.
No response.
Welp… Wait, is that Isabell and Lucy?
Looking past the crowd of teens in front of me, I saw Isabell smirking while she harassed Lucy with words.
She shifted her eyes towards me, and every time our eyes met, she quickly looked away as her expression continued to sadden.
Every time I saw her expression, it felt like my heart would break, so I immediately stormed up to Isabell and asked her what she was doing.
"What the hell are you doing?" I say, stepping in between the two, shielding Lucy from Isabell.
"Did you seriously not tell her you got a new fiance?" Isabell taunts me.
Ah, shit… I knew this would come up, but it had to be Isabell to break the news to Lucy. This snake bitch…
"Lucy-"
As I turned around to explain the situation, I noticed she was gone and ran off to the hallway.
"Who the hell do you think you are?" I say, releasing an insane amount of pressure on Isabell, causing her to fall to her knees.
I then ran off towards the hallway without looking back.
Damn it. Lucy is way too sėnsɨtɨvė even when she tries to hide it. Can't she try to trust me to have an explanation?
But right now, I need to focus on something else.
"Lucy, I can explain," I say to Lucy, who was curled into an upwards ball, leaning against the wall.
"Go away," Lucy responds without even glancing at me.
"*sigh*... Stay away from Isabell in the future; otherwise, she's just going to try and manipulate you,"
"Go away," Lucy responds once again.
Having such a needy girlfriend is hard work…
Kneeling, I hug Lucy without getting any resistance in return.
"It is indeed true that I have a new fiance, but they're from a smaller family you wouldn't know of. This was because they offered to give us 3 S-rank power stones if they could arrange an engagement among their first in line with me.
But don't worry, I don't even like him and my family is planning on eradicating the family anyway," I explain, slightly kissing Lucy on the top of the head.
"I don't believe you,"
