It took less than twenty-five minutes to be transported in a mini truck.
Under the guise of monitoring the cargo, I made it out alive from the back of the truck. It was not a very comfortable ride, but the breeze felt great.

With a pat on the shoulder, Sergei-san, Lida’s grandfather, started off again in his mini truck.
“We managed not to be late.”
“We’ve still got five minutes, so we’ve got plenty of time.”

We headed to the classroom.
I went to the corner seat and let Lida sit down first.

While we were chatting and laughing, our homeroom teacher, Umenaka – no, not that one. Today, the head of the school division, Koto Mitsui, appeared and stood at the podium.
The classroom was buzzing with excitement.

That stern but harsh comment caused a silence to fall. What in the world is going on with Umenaka? I’m sure everyone in the class was wondering. I’m not the only one. Even Lida was puzzled.
“Hey, Oojirou. What’s wrong with Sensei?”
“I don’t know, ……he must be sick.”
When I spoke with Lida in a whisper, the chief began to tell us why.
“Your homeroom teacher, Umenaka, seems to have suffered from acute backaches ……. He has to take care of himself for a week. Therefore, I, as the head of the school, will be taking over for him for a while.”
“What?” “Seriously, Umenaka got a hunch!?” “What’s with his back?” “Maybe because he’s been sleeping around with his mistress.” “Ugh, boys are so …… vulgar right now.” “It hurts like hell, I’ve had them and it’s hard to even go to the bathroom.”

I’ve never had chronic pain before, so I don’t know what it is, but I’ve heard that it comes on suddenly, and it’s so severe that you can’t move, so you can’t live your life. It seems to be quite inconvenient.

It was lunchtime after the little event of Umenaka. Lida and I headed for the student council room, as is our custom.
We came to the front of the room, knocked on the door, and entered. The air conditioning was working, and it was quite cool. This place is great because of the air conditioning.
“Hi, Oojirou-kun and Lida-chan.”
Azusa was in the student council room.
There’s no sign of the president.
So, I guess she’ll join us later.
“Hi, Azusa.”
“Azusa-chan, morning ~ ♪”
Lida hugged Azusa and cuddled with her. But I guess that was the downfall. Azusa grinned fearlessly and secured Lida. She made her sit on her lap and tightened her arms around her.
“Gotcha, Lida!”
“What’s going on, Azusa-chan!?”
“I’m not going to let you get away with this. Lida is mine.”
“No, you can’t do that! Azusa, that’s enough. Let me go.”
“That’s an impossible proposition. Oojirou-kun, I’ll take care of Lida, and you go to the library.”
Holding Lida back as she tries to escape, Azusa tells me to go quickly. But…….
“I’m not sure why the library. Besides, Lida is ……”
