The moment Sybil saw Leonard, she raised her hand and flipped her long, wavy hair. She had been covering her face as she didn't want anyone to recognize her, just in case.

She followed Leonard and entered the hotel room with him. Leonard pounced on her like a starving wolf before she had even put her bag down.

"I've been missing you a lot recently," Leonard murmured between kisses. He then ravaged her like a hungry beast. Sybil was still catching her breath.

"Leonard, let's get down to business first." Sybil wasn't really in the mood for playtime. Frowning, she hurriedly pushed him off her.

Leonard was visibly disappointed, so he turned and walked to the bedside. Sitting down, he lit up a cigarette.

"Leonard, my daughter Ellen is in trouble. Please help me. I know you'll find someone to deal with this." Sybil immediately sat beside him and held his arm, asking for his help while shaking it gently.

Leonard puffed out smoke, raised his eyebrows, turned to her and asked, "What happened?"

With a wry smile on her lips, she raised her hand to brush away the hair at her temples, and then said in a low voice, "Well... She killed a man named Hanley whose body is still at Pine Mountain. It's raining, but we still can't be sure, so I'm worried..."

"She killed someone?" Although Leonard was the head of a gang, he was still a little shocked by the news. He couldn't believe that a young girl like Ellen could kill a person.

While he had never met Ellen before, he could tell that she was a young girl based on Sybil's stories. He couldn't believe his ears when Sybil told him that Ellen had killed someone and was promptly asking him for help to hide the body. Despite having experienced so much as a gang leader, he was still stunned to hear all of this.

Leonard's lack of response didn't go unnoticed by Sybil. She then assumed that he was reluctant to help her. Pulling a long face, she said rather flirtatiously, "Leonard... Please do me this favor. After all, we're..."

"We've known each other for a long time. I can help you w

te in making decisions, especially major ones. I hope you understand."

"Of course, I understand." Although Emily didn't show it, she was offended inwardly by Mr. Wang's harsh use of words.

Mr. Wang had engaged in business for many years. Many people said that he was a devil and did not hesitate to get rid of anyone who stood in his way.

Emily knew she didn't stand a chance against him. Even though she was the financial investment consultant of F Country, her experiences were still no match for his.

Mr. Wang knew this. He knew Emily wouldn't dare speak against him. He smiled and walked toward her. With a tone so polite as if he hadn't just raised his voice at her a few moments ago, he said, "Director Emily, I think it would be in the company's best interests if someone more competent and experienced took your place.

Don't you think so too?"

As he spoke, he pointed to Emily's chair, which was in the middle of the conference table. Only heads got to sit at this part of the table.

Mr. Wang had basically asked Emily to resign from her position.

As expected, Emily was taken aback. She quickly raised her eyebrows and smiled. "Oh," she said. After a pause, she added, "Mr. Wang, this seat used to be Jacob's. He isn't back yet. Before he left, he asked me to take his place, thus making me the person in charge. So, no, I don't agree with you."
