The news that Emily had been caught by Darren also shocked Taylor and Louis, so the two of them rushed to Jacob's house as soon as they heard that Emily had returned safely with Jacob.
Seeing that Emily was still unconscious, Louis was furious. "Jacob, is this how you take care of my sister? Don't you know that she–". . . . .
He didn't finish his sentence, but everyone knew what he meant to say.
Jacob did not argue, but hugged Emily even more tightly. It seemed that only in this way could he feel the life in Emily, through her breathing in his arms.

All of a sudden, they heard soft coughing sounds from Emily, who was still wrapped in Jacob's arms. The coughing attracted everyone's attention.
Emily slowly opened her eyes and said, "Louis. . . . . . Ahem. Don't... . . . . . It was my fault. I went there without his knowledge. Otherwise... . . . . Ahem. . . . . . Ahem. . . . . . Ahem. . . . . . Otherwise, I wouldn't have been captured by Darren."
"Okay, okay, I understand. I don't mean to blame him. Just…just stop talking, okay?" Seeing how badly Emily was coughing because of her effort to talk, Louis's heart ached, and he felt sorry for her.
It was not until Louis finally promised her that he would not blame Jacob that Emily felt relieved, and her coughing slowly became alleviated.
Feeling concerned, Taylor quickly went over and spoke to her softly, checking her emotional condition. After she made sure that Emily was okay, she left with Louis.
Emily watched them leave, her mind filled with memories for quite a long time. She had already guessed what must have happened today, and how she had been brought back home.
'I must have caused more trouble, ' she thought.
As always, Darren was not a good man. She had simply given him a means to threaten Jacob by risking her life.
She looked at Jacob with her eyes dow

After Jacob left, Darren immediately instructed his men to initiate the share transfer, because he worried that something unexpected would happen to interfere with his business again.
But his subordinate reported that the share transfer agreement was a fake, so he could not legally transfer his shares.

Darren lost his temper. In a blind rage, he raked his arms over the desk, sweeping all the documents to the floor, and then he broke several expensive vases one after another.
The person who had reported the matter to him was terrified by this sight. His legs couldn't help but tremble. The man was afraid that Darren would next vent his anger on him.
Darren thought about it carefully and remembered that it was Dina and Nora who had gone to get the share transfer agreement.
Hence, there were only two possibilities. One was that the share transfer agreement had been swapped for a fake before Dina and Nora had collected the agreement for him. But the likelihood of this was extremely small. Dina and Nora wouldn't have been stupid enough to mistake the fake share transfer agreement for the real thing.
In consideration of this, Darren realized that there was only one possibility: Dina and Nora had fooled him with a fake share transfer agreement!
"Dina, Nora, how dare you!" Darren clenched his teeth, eager to kill them at once.
