Even though Ye Bai's emotion not in the best state, but at least he didn't hinder their movement and followed them closely without any expression on his face when he stabbed his enemy to their death.
The moment they arrived without anyone noticed, Qi Xunyi had been waiting for them in the secret tunnel that would bring them to the underground shelter where the Emperor and The Empress of Xinghe were evacuated.

"Mother! What have you done!?" Qi Xunyi looked at the dead body of the Emperor and the Empress in horror.
But, the woman in his arms kept struggling to get back her dagger as though she didn't recognize her own son. She was kicking, hitting and event trying to bit Qi Xunyi's arms that prevent her movement. She was completely insane and out of control.
"No, stop!" Qi Xunyi having difficulty to control her as Ye Xiu walked forward and hit the back of her neck.
In an instant the woman stopped struggling and then fell unconscious.
"It will make her calm for a while." Ye Xiu mumbled.
"Thank you." Qi Xunyi replied in low voice while put his mother down on the ground. He directed his eyes at the dead body of his Emperor Father and the Empress on the ground not too far from him.

"Someone came before us." Ye Xiu said the oblivious fact. "Qi Xunyi, who else knew about this underground shelter except us?"
"No one from outside who knew, this underground shelter was especially built for the Emperor and Empress in case there is precarious situation while the other princes and princess has their own shelter in the other place."
