Chapter 8 – Manticore, Eto’s Nemesis
Eto never imagined this would happen. It was supposed to be just a subjugation request, which happens to be a little more difficult than their usual request.

Manticore is an eerie monster with a human head and a body of a lion. The guild promptly issued an urgent subjugation request of C-rank Manticore that appeared in a place that could be reached in two hours by horse from the royal capital. The quest was intended for a C-rank party or higher, with the reward doubled.
However, the deadline for the subjugation is three days, and if it exceeds that, they will only be given a normal amount of reward. Yes, they made the adventurers compete, with the primary goal being to subjugate the Manticore as fast as possible.
