"Come on, come on!" Rushing out of his dormitory, Lieutenant skarsky of the 142nd squadron began to tidy up his equipment while running.

An alarm is a command! Skarsky has always been strict with himself. Moreover, he has the habit of getting up early. He just got up when he heard the alarm.

However, others are different. Some pilots get up, wear underwear and start running out.

What's going on?

"Attention, the Germans have attacked on the border. We will take off immediately to meet the German plane!" The voice of the officer on duty sounded in the base.

German, calling?

Take off! Skarsky quickly ran into his fighter and carried his umbrella bag.

"Come on, start the engine!" He shouted.

"Report, no refueling and ammunition!" Cried the hurried ground attendant.

It's not a state of war. The plane is not in combat at all.

Hearing the news, skarsky jumped out of his cockpit and, together with the ground crew, quickly stuffed the machine gun bullets into the bomb compartment.

The fuel had just begun to be filled, and a rumbling sound came from the distant sky.

"Come on, come on, start the plane right away!" Skarsky knew that if he didn't take off quickly, he would be destroyed on the ground!

Now, there is no time to wait. Although it has just been refueled, it is enough!

Start!

With his cry, the ground crew pulled out the fuel pipe in a panic. Just after the cover was closed, the ground crew in front began to turn the propeller by hand.

It's definitely a technical job.

There are various ways to start the engine of the aircraft. At the beginning, the aircraft mainly relied on manual propellers. In some aircraft, there was a slot in front of the propeller, which was used to clamp the crank.

Technically speaking, it can be started by electricity. However, as long as you ride an electric car, you should know how heavy the battery is. For bombers, the weight of the battery is nothing, but for fighters, you must care about this weight!

For Poland's old fighters, hand start is the most common way!

With the rotation of the propeller, the nozzle of the engine emitted black smoke. Then, the unique vibration came and the engine started!

Mercury VI S2 630 HP engine roared and pushed the accelerator. Skarsky shouted, "get out of the way, I want to take off!"

Wait, why is it only 630 horsepower?

Of course, this 630 horsepower is already the largest aircraft engine in Poland at this stage!

Look at the shape of the plane. The upper single wing, seagull wing and cockpit are in the back. It is still open, and the lower landing gear is still non retractable. Compared with the fighters of the German air force, the plane is far behind!

However, this is still the most advanced fighter in the Polish air force, P11!

Poland's aviation industry is also independent. After World War I, Poland developed a series of fighters, among which PZL aviation manufacturing group has been making progress.

In the early 1930s, based on the original p.7, they made an improved version with a higher power air-cooled engine, which is the p.11 fighter.

Aircraft engines, mainly from Britain, have made great progress from the original Bristol mercury IV S2 575 HP air-cooled engine to the current 630 HP type C.

It was very advanced when p.11c was commissioned in 1934. However, these years are also a period of rapid development of aviation technology.

Various new technologies, large engines with more than 1000 horsepower, retractable landing gear, fully enclosed cockpit and so on, have come out one after another, but the p.11c has not been improved for a long time.

This kind of fighter with only four 7.7 mm machine guns can be said to be an era behind Germany.

For example, the top speed of this p.11 fighter is only 365 kilometers per hour, even lower than some German bombers. In terms of mobility, the mobility of German dive bombers is similar to that of this kind of fighter!

Although the Polish Air Force has about 1900 aircraft, there are few front-line combat aircraft. 650 of the 1900 are training aircraft, and the other 700 are all kinds of obsolete and useless aircraft.

There are 392 planes that can take off for combat, including 185 fighters, 114 reconnaissance fighters, 36 medium bombers and 84 reconnaissance aircraft, of which the main fighters are 128 "PZL p.11" and 30 "PZL p.7".

Although the fighter performance of the Polish air force is not very good, the quality of Polish pilots is absolutely powerful! In the history of later generations, the moment when the Polish air force exerted its power was the air battle in Britain!

Now, the first ace pilot of the Polish Air Force in history took off at risk!

The 630 HP engine of P11 makes a huge roar. The two blade propeller is rotating rapidly. The fixed landing gear is sliding and running on the runway.

"Watch the back!" The ground crew on the ground couldn't help shouting.

In the sky, a BF109 suddenly came out of the clouds and dived quickly towards the airport! On the side of the fuselage, the black cross is so dazzling.

In the cabin, corporal Heinz looked coldly at his prey.

Heinz Barr was born in Sommerfield near Leipzig on March 21, 1913. He was a glider enthusiast when he was a teenager. He began gliding training at the age of 17. Later, he joined the secret pilot training and went to the Soviet Union.

In 1935, Barr officially joined the German air force. He flew Junker 52 / 3M first, then changed to BF109 and was assigned to the 51st daytime Fighter Wing commanded by mordes.

Later, he entered the Spanish battlefield. Unfortunately, it was quite unfortunate. When his squadron took turns, it had reached the late stage of the Spanish Civil War. There were no government fighters in the sky. His greatest pleasure in the Spanish battlefield was to dive down and hit cars. It was too boring.

Now, the real battle has finally come! As a pilot of the first squadron of the first brigade, he and his squadron companions flew fighter planes and escorted a group of bombers to bomb Polish airports.

They took off with other formations. When they reached the border, the formal declaration of war began.

Therefore, there were no obstacles along the way. The poles had not finished their preparations for taking off. Before he came over the airport, he saw the fighter taking off on the runway and immediately dived down!

His eyesight is the best. At the same time, he is eager to fight. This fighter taking off is his prey! Like a fierce eagle, BF109, swooped down from the sky.
