Jayne looked at the short, chubby, rosy skinned  man before her. He looked like a cute character straight out of a movie. His sienna brown eyes glowed even in the cold winter and his straight eyebrows arched when he smiled and held out his hands to greet her. His hair was neatly combed and with his doctor coat on he looked very neat and professional.

Jayne did a 'namaste' to him.

The doctor immediately realised that she was an Indian. He too joined hands and did a 'namaste' by joining his hands.

Jayne's eyes flickered and the corners of her mouth curved upwards.

"Please come in. Have a seat. Feel at home." The doctor greeted the couple and Assistant Daniel West.

The doctor later asked, "What would you like to eat or drink?"

Ronnie answered, "We've just now had breakfast doctor. So it's fine. We'll just have a glass of water."

The doctor ordered the maids to get water and some fruit juice to all of them.

They began talking about various things. Then, Ronnie narrated the entire incident on how he met Jayne and her injury to the doctor. He also explained about the tribal medicine given to her. He didn't forget to tell the wound dressing done by the Army doctors at the relief camp.

Dr. Henry Thomas listened to everything patiently and said, "Hmph…"

It was the first time for Assistant Daniel West also to listen to the entire story. He was too consumed by the story that he'd stopped breathing. But he was taught to control his emotions. Hence he looked his usual self, calm and composed.

The doctor said to Ronnie, "Well, let me examine the physical wounds first if it has totally healed or not." Then he turned towards Jayne and asked her to accompany him to his study which also acted as his clinic at home for emergency cases.

Once they were inside, Dr Henry Thomas asked Jayne to sit on the bed and he began undressing the wound. By now the physical wound had almost healed up.

He said, "Jayne your physical injuries have almost recovered. You don't have to wear this bandage any more." He smiled at her.

"Okay Sir," Jayne was relieved. 'Okay my first step to recovery,' she thought to herself.

Dr Henry Thomas disinfected the wounded area and finally sticked a band-aid around the wounded area, "You can remove this too in a day or two."He said to Jayne.

Later they both sat across the table, opposite to each other.

"Jayne, tell me how are you feeling? Does it hurt anywhere?" He questioned her.

" Doctor I'm feeling better physically. It doesn't hurt anywhere. With Ronnie's ultimate care and concern, it doesn't hurt even a little. I feel I'm fine already." Jayne indirectly expressed her thanks to Ronnie.

The Doctor chuckled at her response and said, "Good good that you are recovering. Tell me how else do you feel? Let me remind you, the cooperation between a doctor and patient matters the most. Only if you tell me how exactly you feel without concealing anything, I'd be able to help you in this journey. Majorly you've to help yourself out of this." The doctor gave a subtle suggestion to Jayne, his expression calm.
