Chapter 2: A Special Woman

**Warning: mature language**

Luciano kicked him off with brute force. There were five collapsed figures surrounding him - what used to be people. Soon after, ten men clothed in black ran towards Luciano, kneeling all at once in spite of the mud.

“Sir Luciano, that was splendid. Glory to Serrat.”

The language that they spoke was the world’s most esoteric, belonging to Serrat, the lost country.

Luciano swung his sword, the droplets of blood and rain ran off the blade and placed it back into its sheath.

“Push this trash off the cliff with the carriage. Don’t forget to destroy the surrounding soil. If there are witnesses, clean them up. Frian, you are the commander in charge.”

The man named Frian bowed. Luciano then turned to another man.

“Leandro. The deserter ran away at twelve o'clock. He wouldn’t have made it to Armenia yet.”

“Yes, understood. I’ll immediately deal with it.”

After Luciano gave his orders, he returned to a carriage drawn by large steeds, ahead of him. The emblem ingrained on the carriage carried the coat of arms of the Marquis of Longolia, one of the most esteemed noble families of Armenia. As he drew near, the door swung open in a timely fashion.

From inside, the scent of Eijitsu rosebush wafted out into the rain, a sweet fresh aroma that clashed with the damp smell of mud.

A lady adorning a bright red dress was seated waiting. The beauty mark beneath her lips was riveting, making her appear even more seductive.

“Luciano, give me a ride. Your horse moves on Amancio’s command,” she said in an enchanting voice. Luciano briefly glanced at the woman. Towards her enrapturing beauty, he was frosty. Nevertheless, the woman smiled.

“Why are you here?”

“I came to embrace you. In normal circumstances, you wouldn’t hold a woman, but when you kill someone...you’d definitely hold her. Is it exciting to kill someone? So I was waiting.”

Seduction laced her voice as the woman unravelled her chest. Her dress fell, suddenly revealing her voluptuous unclothed body. If it were anyone else, the sight of an enchanting noblewoman seducing them would have been an unfathomable dream.

“Yesterday you held a low-born woman of humble origin, someone other than me...I can’t forgive that. Hey, my body is much better is it not? I polish it every day.”

“... I heard that a corpse rose in the river. Flavia, stop killing the women I hold one after another.”

Without even a glance at her body, Luciano coldly brushed her off.

“Only I deserve such a noble man as you. I’m not repulsive. Don’t let other women touch you. I’m a special woman; the only one you’re allowed to hold.”

Luciano snorted.

“I’ve decided I’ll do anything to get you. Hey, hurry up and get into the carriage. The rain is coming in.”

With no choice, Luciano entered the carriage. Flavia closed the door and immediately placed her hands around his neck, whispering “I love you.”

Shortly thereafter, the carriage started moving. The rocky terrain could be felt from the occasional bumps in the road as the carriage jostled, but the inside was warm and secure. Protection from the horrid downpour.

“I’ve prepared some clothes. Doesn’t it feel bad to be in wet clothes? I’ll take them off.”

It was when the woman covered her red-painted lips on his mouth that Luciano grabbed Flavia’s redhead and brutally pulled it back. Her chin was raised as her face distorted in agony.

“Don’t bring your mouth close to me. It’s filthy.”

“I only want a kiss…. please.”

Luciano pushed the woman away and sat down on the chair, “you’re an eyesore. Get off this carriage now. If you’re lucky, you could meet a bandit. They will appreciate your kiss. By the way, they can satisfy your thirst. Or a few of them could.”

Flavia who was flung off by him crumpled to the floor, clinging to his foot. “Forgive me.”

“Don’t touch.”

Even as she was roughly kicked by him, Flavia clung tightly to his foot. “I only want to be embraced by you. In my eyes, I see only you. You are my everything. Don’t get angry Luciano...I’m not your fiancée anymore. I like you,” the woman whispered, rubbing her cheeks on his knees.

“Five years ago, when Father announced our engagement, I felt like I was going to heaven. I didn’t want you to be taken by another woman. You talked to me when you were practising the sword. Remember the conversation at that time?”

Flavia seemed to want to talk about the past, but Luciano quietly placed his sword down. He didn’t take part in the conversation at all and took off his wet robe without a single glance at her.

The clothes he wore underneath his robe were soaked in rain. Luciano squeezed his long hair and droplets of water fell heavily, perhaps it was due to the long duration of the rain.

When Luciano discarded his wet clothes on the floor, his wet silver hair clung to the skin of his supple muscles.
