Over by the couch, Huo YanXiao had no idea that he was being plotted against.
He got back up to get more food for Nie AnAn. After he walked over to the food tables, suddenly there was someone next to him.
“Let’s have a talk?” said Nie ChengFeng nonchalantly.
“Sure,” replied Huo YanXiao, putting down the plate.
The two of them walked over to the patio. Nie ChengFeng put aside his usual sluggish and unrestrained demeanor. He was much more solemn now. “Why did you accept earlier? Was it just because you didn’t want to embarrass AnAn?”
Huo YanXiao took a look at him and said coolly, “You sure got into the role fast.”
“I never knew that I have a sister. But now that I do, naturally I won’t let anyone wrong her.” Nie ChengFeng leaned against the railing and looked at some distant place. “I could tell that you don’t love her romantically. I don’t know why you have accepted it, but what I do want to say is that I don’t want you to use her as if she’s a tool of yours.”
“Why does Young Master Nie think that I am going to use her?” Huo YanXiao looked over at Nie ChengFeng and the two men’s eyes locked. “You think that AnAn doesn’t possess even the basic ability to make her own judgement and would just let me use her?”
“It’s great if I am wrong about that.” Nie ChengFeng’s eyes gleamed like the tip of a sword. Looking straight at Huo YanXiao, he said, “Even though we have just found her a week ago, she is my sister. And I am a very protective person, especially when it comes to my family.”
Huo YanXiao said in an equally solemn tone, “What a coincidence, I am a very protective person as well. Naturally, I won’t let anyone wrong her now that she is with me and that includes myself.”

He poured another glass of fruit juice for Nie AnAn before he returned to the couch and placed it in front of her.

That night, after walking out of the Qin’s winery, Father Nie and Mother Nie wanted Nie AnAn to go home with them.
