Chapter 86 - The Reason He Wanted To Marry You (1)

They had a normal few days afterward, with the exception that Qin Ziyi came over to their place a few times over the weekend. The rest seemed to be no different than before.

This lasted until Nie AnAn had to head to the filming location of “Gold Medal Inn”.

Today was the day that she was all packed up to leave from home.

Huo YanXiao drove her to the airport. Looking at the girl’s clear eyes, he urged her, “AnAn, be safe after you get there. Come home as soon as your filming is over. Our engagement banquet is coming up soon.”

Looking at the man who casually brought up “engagement banquet”, Nie AnAn felt at loss for a bit.

He never once mentioned anything about their engagement in the last few days. He even went with her to the park over the weekend, but for the most part, their interactions were no different than when they were still brother and sister.

And now, he just brought up their engagement so matter-of-factly.

A sense of at a loss enveloped her entire person, but Nie AnAn didn’t let any of it show. She just nodded and said, “Okay, big brother.”

Lo and behold, Ji YunChuan also arrived with his luggage at that moment. He saw Nie AnAn and said to her, “Good morning, AnAn!”

He then turned and greeted Huo YanXiao.

Huo YanXiao nodded at him before he looked back at Nie AnAn. He reached out to rub her on her head gently and said to her, “Okay, AnAn, I am taking off to work now.”

Nie AnAn watched him leave. She felt disappointed.

Ji YunChuan, next to her, didn’t read any of those feelings. He just smiled at Nie AnAn and told her how much he was looking forward to going to their filming location today.

The filming location is the seaside of South China Sea. It was a newly developed tourist location, and as it was newly developed, there wasn't a lot of information about it on the internet.

The development project belonged to the Qi’s, and the Qi’s had also invested a lot in this season’s “Gold Medal Inn”.

Naturally, the Qi’s hoped that the resort would be promoted through the show.

After three hours of flight, the group arrived at City T. They then took ground transportation to head to the seaside where the filming would take place.

It was all white beaches for as far as they could see. The sea was so pure that, under the sun, the closer area appeared green and a dark blue hue further out.

Next to the seaside, there were a lot of small hotels, all of them in the format of inns, scattering alongside the beach.

Nie AnAn read about this location online. It was said that there was only a very small area of white sandy beach. It was all reefs outside of that area, so no 5-star hotels wanted to invest here.

City T was a fishing town in its previous life and didn’t develop for tourism. Most of these inns were converted from little fishing cottages.

Just like before, the guests of “Gold Medal Inn” would still be assigned according to a drawing result. There were more guests this season, so they would be housed in three separate inns.

Nie AnAn and Ji YunChuan were the only two nutritionists, so the comic guest would, once again, double as the chef for the third inn. The three of them went for the drawing together.

Nie AnAn got Yuanyuan Inn, Ji YunChuan got Tuotuo Inn, and the comic got Bianbian Inn.

(T/N: “Yuan” = circular/round/spheric, “Tuo” = columnar/resembling pillar. “Bian” = flat/squashed.)

Nie AnAn was curious about the names of the inns. Once she walked inside, she noticed that the name was certainly suggestive. The entire inn was decorated with round elements.

As it was quite unique, many of the guests on their cast were very interested in taking pictures and all started taking selfies.
