"I told you before you left, all I asked is for you to be alive, knowing you are alive is all that matters. If you were in my shoes and I was to do what you did, how would you have felt? "Take her back then. Don't have to stay any longer than necessary."Derek replied coldly. Her baby has been doing well, she never had anymore leaking since then, from the scans, the baby is growing well as well. In 2 weeks time, she'll be at term and would be safe to deliver if anything were to happen, if not she can wait till she is at 40 weeks.
"By the way, how is your recovery process?" Adam asked, ignoring Derek's cold tone. He is pretty much used to it now. Only when Derek speak to Jade, the tone is gentle, even Father Lee gets the cold tone. How could he complain then. He should be worried if Derek was to suddenly use a gentle tone on him.
