There’s a lot of announcements I’d like to make but first let’s start with the anime!
From today, October 5th, the [Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!] anime will begin airing!
As a supervisor I am confident in saying that we were blessed with an amazing staff in order to create an amazing anime.
I’m sure those who have read the original material will also enjoy it so please check it out.

Next, [Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!] is getting a game adaptation!
The title will be [Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute! Master of Garden] and it’s planned to be released within 2022!
Of course, I am involved in the writing and supervising of the game too!
I can’t discuss the details here yet but follow the official Twitter to get the latest information!!
And finally, regarding volume 5…..
The text has been written and it’s currently in the proof reading stage so it should be out soon!!
I apologise that it took a while but the volume is a completely original story so I’m sure it will be fresh and enjoyable.

I look at Christina-san, who has been bitten in the shoulder by a zombie.
“Leave it to me”
“Sid-kun…..!”
“Boy, do you have a plan!?”
I nod deeply and draw my sword from my waist.
“Christina is done for. I’ll make this easy on her”
I gather magical energy into my sword and aim towards Christina-san’s neck.
“Oioioi!”
“Wait a minute!”
“Don’t worry, It’ll only hurt for a moment”
Just as I was about to swing my sword down.
“Ow!”
Violet-san’s finger pinches my butt.
“Hold on, boy!!”
Margari-san takes away my sword.
“You thickhead! At times like this you should say [I’ll save you]!!”
Christina-san kicks me in the stomach.
Violet-san’s finger taps me on the butt.
“Why though, didn’t Christina-san herself give up!”
“That’s just an act! Speaking like that makes everyone worry about you!!”
“Eeh…..”
“I’m not giving up! I’m happy with my life! As if I’m going to die here!!”
While ranting, Christina-san treats the bite wound with magic.
“The bleeding seems to have stopped but that won’t stop the zombification”
“I know that much. Is there no way to treat it?”
“The usual pattern is that an event where we obtain a cure will happen”
“I haven’t heard of a medicine that can cure zombies…..”
“That’s true…..”
We both let out a sight.
If it was demonic possession then I can easily heal it but I have no clue how to treat zombification so I’m at a loss here.
In the first place the cure to demonic possession was a coincidental result of the magic energy experiments I was doing.
“That reminds me of a rumour I heard”
Margari-san starts to speak.
“While protecting the citizens, the Mitsugoshi Trade Company has been secretly collecting those bitten by zombies. They’re taken underground beneath the Mitsugoshi Trade Company to be used in human experiments….. though I thought it was a questionable tale”
“Could it be that they’re performing research on people bitten by zombies in order to create a cure?”
“That could be it. Considering Mitsugoshi’s technology, it’s not unthinkable. Besides this building has many strange points”
“Strange points?”
“I’ve seen rooms not on the floor plan, hidden doors, and strange characters that look like a cipher. And above all, this building should not have a basement. It’s clear that Mitsugoshi is up to something”
“Then it’s decided. Let’s look for a way underground. Who knows, we might even find some hidden food supplies”
“I would advise against it though…..”
I muttered.
If those girls are trying to hide something, then they’ll have a large number of traps and other things prepared.
Eta’s traps in particular are quite nasty.
