Chapter 3 – How to Deal with Them? Beat Them to Death

Qi Ying’s appearance forced the scuffle to be interrupted.

Those bad teenagers always have the “do not hit girls” policy on their lips, so when a girl was accidentally injured, they all foolishly stopped.

Yang Xinyuan only arrived here at this time. He didn’t know what happened. He thought they were all Ji Rang’s people and shouted, “The police are here!”

As soon as the students from the Third High School heard it, they turned around and ran away at once.

AD

Yu Zhao couldn’t care that much, and rushed to Ji Rang to support Qi Ying, “Sister! Sister, where’s the injury? Where does it hurt?”

He was scared senseless that he asked her for half a day before he remembered that Qi Ying couldn’t hear. He flusteredly fished out his phone and called 120. The ambulance asked about their location. As this was a small alley and the ambulance couldn’t get in, Yu Zhao simply informed them of the location of the school gate.

He hung up the phone and reached out his hands to take Qi Ying from Ji Rang’s arms.

But the result was he couldn’t remove her from his arms.

Yu Zhao was furious: “You let go!”

Ji Rang glanced at him and raised his hands innocently.

Only then did Yu Zhao see that it was Qi Ying who was holding on to Ji Rang’s uniform tightly and didn’t let go.

What the f*ck was going on?

AD

Yu Zhao endured his temper and typed to show her: Sister, I’ll take you to the hospital.

Unexpectedly, Qi Ying glanced at the screen of the mobile phone, but shook her head at him, her hands were still tightly clinging unto Ji Rang, as if she was afraid he would disappear.

Girls who like Ji Rang can line up from the school gate to the other side of the street, and there were various ways to chase him, but this was indeed the first time someone took a hit for him like this.

Several people of Qu Dazhuang were stunned at the sight.

Yu Zhao was extremely angry and he had no way to communicate. His mind was in a total mess, and he just wanted to take Qi Ying to the hospital quickly, thus he just bluntly grabbed her shoulders and pulled her away.

Just now, the stick actually hit her on the shoulder, so when Yu Zhao touched her injury, Qi Ying’s tears came out quickly due to pain.

Ji Rang suddenly pushed away Yu Zhao with one hand.

Yu Zhao was just about to curse him, “You f*cker,” when he saw Ji Rang bent over, princess carried Qi Ying, and took large strides towards the school gate. He had no choice but to keep up.

Qi Ying felt like her shoulders were set on fire. She could smell the slight scent of cigarettes on the young man’s body mixed with the fragrance of honey locust on his collar. She could hear his heart beating in his chest, and remembered the day when she was first brought into the General’s Manor.

That day, the General rescued her from the bandit’s den. When he returned to the General’s Manor, he dismounted first, and in the same way, he carried her in his arms. He advanced all the way into the Manor while carrying her.

She slightly raised her eyes and saw his lower jaw as well as his cold and sharp side profile which seemed as if he had gone through various hardships.

At present, the young man’s skin was much fairer and more delicate, his body doesn’t have the firm, iron blood, violent, murderous temperament like her General from before, and even the facial features carved in his flesh were youthful.

But she could feel his familiar aura.

It’s her General.

Ji Rang sensed the gaze of the girl in his arms and looked down.

The girl in his arms still tightly clutched the corner of his clothes, raised her head slightly, and stared at him for a moment. When she saw that he lowered his head, she suddenly formed a sweet smile. Her eyes were wet and she called him again, “General.”

Ji Rang only saw her mouth move but didn’t hear her voice. He didn’t know what she was talking about, and asked her, “You can’t talk?”

The girl in his arms didn’t nod or shake her head, but only used that damned pair of eyes to look at him.

(T/N: Basically, in the raws, those eyes were enough to want his life and in this context, it means that those eyes were enough to affect him in the sense of “I want to protect her,” “she’s gonna be the death of me,” or “book me the next rocket to the sun because she’s too cute.”)

Ji Rang laughed: “Can you hear or not?”

When his words fell, his face sank, and he suddenly remembered the widely rumored special student this morning.

A martyr’s child, deaf and mute girl, very beautiful.

His arms tightened, and he abruptly laughed, “It’s really f*cking funny.”

The ambulance quickly arrived at the school gate.

It was during the rush hour after school that people were coming and going from the school gate, so when the ambulance arrived, it attracted a lot of attention. The security guard ran two or three steps to the doctor who got out of the car, and asked: “What’s the matter?”

The doctor said: “The students of your school called an ambulance, where’s the person?”

Ji Rang held Qi Ying and approached the ambulance: “Here.”

The security guard had a “What problem did you cause again?” look.

The color on Ji Rang’s face didn’t change, and he took Qi Ying to the ambulance under the watchful eyes of the public. Yu Zhao climbed up with him and shouted anxiously: “Doctor, please help my sister and quickly examine her! Did she injure her head?”

Otherwise, how could she suddenly look at Ji Rang, this bastard?

The doctor simply examined her once, “There is no obvious head injury, wait until we arrive at the hospital to conduct further tests.”

Yu Zhao glared at Ji Rang for a second.

The corner of Ji Rang’s eyes dropped, and his lips hooked into an especially tyrannical smile: “Do you really think that Laozi has a good temper?”

(T/N: Laozi means “I, your father,” and is an arrogant way to refer to oneself.)

Yu Zhao looked at the clever and lovable Qi Ying who sat beside Ji Rang. She was still tightly clutching on to the corner of his clothes and wouldn’t let go. His heart really felt like shit. The phone in his pocket suddenly rang.

He picked it up and took a look—it was his father who called.

Yu Zhao was immediately frightened.

He shakily answered the phone call, and Yu Cheng at the other end asked: “Is your school finished? I just got off work, and now I’m on my way to pick you and Ying Ying up.”

Yu Zhao indeed had unspeakable bitter sufferings, so he evaded his question: “We can go back by bus, you don’t have to go out of your way and give us a lift. “

(T/N: Meaning: There is a pain in my heart, but I can’t say it. It is often used to describe a person with hidden difficulties who can’t talk about it or has no one to talk to.)

Yu Cheng said: “How can I let Ying Ying squeeze in a crowded bus? You can wait for me at school, I’ll be there soon.”

Yu Zhao was about to cry. He planned to confess the truth and accept his fate, but then Qi Ying handed the screen of her mobile phone to him and it read: Tell Jiujiu, my new classmates and I went to the bookstore to buy stationery and tutorial books, and we want to play a little more.

As if he had received a great amnesty, Yu Zhao hurriedly conveyed her message. Yu Cheng learned that Qi Ying got along with her classmates very happily, so he let this matter slide.

After he hung up the phone, Yu Zhao looked at the tired Ji Rang next to her, and buried his head in typing to communicate with Qi Ying on WeChat.

——Sister, do you know him?

——Yes.

—— /Panic. How did you know each other? Do you know who he is?

——Ji Rang.

——Sister, I tell you, don’t be fooled by his appearance. That man is not a good thing.

——No, he’s a very good person, I know it.

Yu Zhao rolled his eyes with anger, and he almost swore.

You know fart.

(T/N: What the hell do you know?/ You don’t know shit./You know nothing Jon Snow.)

Is this f*cking Class Two so poisonous that it brainwashed his obedient and quiet sister on the first day of school?

This dog day Ji Rang’s punch was really ruthless that his lower abdomen was still painful right now, and he needed the doctor to check his condition later.

(T/N: Son of a b*tch/f*cked or spawned by a dog)

The ambulance drove all the way to the hospital and Ji Rang didn’t say a word from beginning to end. He waited until Qi Ying finished seeing the doctor, then he took the treatment bill to the counter to settle the medical expenses. When he returned, he threw all of it to Yu Zhao and left.

Qi Ying just entered the treatment room when she saw that he was about to leave. She ran out and grabbed the sleeves of his uniform that he put on his shoulders.

Ji Rang didn’t look back, and just glanced at Yu Zhao through the corner of his eyes. Don’t know who he was threatening: “Laozi doesn’t have so much patience.”

Yu Zhao quickly took back Qi Ying’s hand.

In fact, she didn’t want to let go, but looking at Ji Rang’s complexion, she also knew that what he said just now was not good words. The rims of her eyes were still red, but her fingers loosened.

Ji Rang shook his shoulders, patted his clothes, and walked towards the elevator.

After two steps, through the doings of ghosts and gods, he looked back at her.

(T/N: It means that it seems like ghosts and gods are instructing him to do something unconsciously. / He did something unthinkable or something unexpected.)

Qi Ying was still standing there, staring anxiously at his back. When she saw that he looked back, a smile immediately bloomed on her small face.

That smile had a cautious and eager to please flavor.

Ji Rang suddenly felt a burst of irritation in his heart. He cussed, then accelerated his pace and left.

As soon as he left the hospital, Qu Dazhuang called him to ask, “Rang Ge, how’s the girl who blocked a hit for you?”

Ji Rang pulled out a cigarette from his pocket and said, “She had no major problems.”

Qu Dazhuang sighed: “Niubi ah, Rang Ge, you have to add another point in your glorious history. There are girls who are willing to block a rod for you.”

(T/N: F*cking awesome! It means someone is so awesome and cool after doing sth amazing or out of others expectation.)

Ji Rang laughed: “Scram.”

Qu Dazhuang also said: “Rang Ge, how should we deal with that bunch of rascals from Third High School?”

Ji Rang slanted his head to hold the mobile phone, and found the lighter to light the cigarette. He exhaled the smoke, and the smell of the smoke wafted through the air. The nearby security guard shouted, “Hey, you’re not allowed to smoke in the hospital!”

Ji Rang raised his head to look at him. He’s obviously just a teenager wearing a school uniform, but the expression in his eyes was inexplicably terrifying.

The security guard stepped back subconsciously.

Ji Rang merely smiled, accelerated his pace to get out of the door, and his tone was faint towards the phone: “How to deal with them? Beat them to death.”
