They were finally home with Johnathan asleep in Vincent's arms and Sofia walked alongside him in silence. After the long day of travel and an eventful night Johnathan had fallen asleep in the car with no sign of waking up.
Vincent took him straight to his room with Sofia helping him change Johnathan into his pj's and into bed for the night.
"Thanks again for tonight." Vincent said in a whisper to Sofia out in the hallway as he was closing the bedroom door. Turning and facing her he continued, "The pictures, do you want them printed or digitally?"
"Digital would be good." Sofia smiled and added "Thank you for tonight. I only got through it with your encouragement. Good night."
The pair separated to go onto their own paths leading to opposite destinations.

For Sofia the night was over and tomorrow night would be the time she could not wait for, but in the room across from hers was where a storm was being fought right then and there.
Vincent was having his first midlife crisis. To go forward with what he was thinking of doing the whole night or to wait it out for alittle longer?
