As a shadow drew closer to the entrance, Johnathan could be seen straightening up in his seat. His eyes sparkling in happiness. His instincts telling him to jump. But the minute he saw who was actually coming, his face darkened.
It was not the person he wanted.
It was none other than his father, Vincent King.
Johnathan's mood deflated like a balloon. The sparkle in his eyes dimmed and his straight back hunched over, one could see the disappointment clear on him.
The newly arrived Vincent could see everything clearly. His presence was unwanted at the table. The Vincent King was undermined in his own home. And he could do nothing about it, cause the people causing it were none other than his loved ones.
His own loving son was disappointed with his entry into the dinning room. With nothing he could do, Vincent slowly shook his head in helplessness while exhaling a deep sigh as he took his position at the head of the table. But even with the current mood, one could see he was not mad, he was delighted. His eyes were smiling at the current situation, why would he be mad of his son deeply bonding with Sofia?
He was happy with himself. His son was one of his best weapons for the currnt mission. He will be the one bringing them together in the end. No one can resist the cuteness of Johnathan King, not even Vincent King himself, so how can the young and naive Sofia?
Just as Vincent had taken his seat at the head of the table, the sound of light footsteps could be heard coming near.

At first Johnathan not aware of the footsteps slowly approaching, was sitting at his seat with his face looking down while sulking. His pouting face could send anyone's heart to beat faster due to it's cuteness, but given his face direction, none could witness it. The moment the footsteps were loud enough for Johnathan to hear, was the minute Sofia had arrived at the doorway and ready to enter. It was like magic, Johnathan's face snapped towards the doorway and his happy go lucky self smile was back on his face.
Before Sofia could enter the room, Johnathan had already arrived at her feet, hugging her. The sight of the child at her feet had melted her heart. Quickly crouching down, Sofia took him in her arms and rained kisses on his face.
The two individuals were lost in their own world, not remembering the other person present with them. Vincent had witnessed the whole thing. During the happy sight, out of nowhere he felt a slight tightness in his heart. He was becoming jealous of his own son. His 2 year old son.
Not wanting to do something that would be out of character, Vincent cleared his throat. The action which reminded Sofia of her current location.
This realization lead to shyness. She was crouching in the dinning room in front of Vincent and all the workers.
