He was still contemplating whether he should follow suit as he was worried that Qi Chengyue might be angry at him for not taking care of her as well as how Qi Chengzhi did with Song Yu.
He glanced at Qi Chengyue. Coincidentally, Qi Chengyue looked at his direction as well with a teasing gaze and raised eyebrows.
Cheng Dongge remained silent. He slowly took a grip onto her plate and was about to take it towards him, but Qi Chengyue stopped him by gently grabbing his arm.
Qi Chengyue whispered to his ear, “It’s okay, I can do it by myself. My brother’s way of treating Song Yu is not normal. If you do that to me now, after a few years when we become an old married couple, you would get bored with it and stop treating me so nice. How big of a disappointment would I feel then?”
Cheng Dongge did not reply with an empty promise that he would treat her well forever. He just said lightly, “We’ll see then.”
After that, he took Qi Chengyue’s plate over and cut up the cheese into small cubes. Then, he plated some salad for her. He knew that she disliked olives, so he took extra care not to take them.
Qi Chengyue looked at his actions speechlessly. This man was so honest and could not say any flattery. The way he put it, he might not treat her this well after a few more years?
He arched his eyebrow and looked over. Qi Chengyue was staring at him gloomily. She said in a voice so soft that only he could hear, “I’m just joking, but you admitted that you won’t treat me as nice after a few more years?”
Cheng Dongge grabbed her hand that kept poking his. He said with a clear, thin voice, “Who can guarantee what will happen in a few years? Have you seen any old married couple who lived together for a decade still treat each other with such tender affection?”
“What is this, can’t you just comfort me?” Qi Chengyue glared at him.
Cheng Dongge pinched her hand and smiled gently, “How would I know what happens after a decade? Can you promise that you won’t be disgusted by me when I become an old man? Anyways, I can promise you that I’ll be good to you for the rest of your life.”
“Isn’t this nice?” Qi Chengyue squeezed his hand and said, “Let’s eat.”

After breakfast, four of them headed out for the day. Cheng Dongge who was a Li City citizen became their local tour guide. He brought them to the famous ancient city. They passed through narrow alleys, crossed ancient bridges and took a tour on the raft.
Song Yu and Qi Chengyue changed into the ancient Chinese clothing, Hanfu, and took pictures beside the river.
In the afternoon, Cheng Dongge brought them back to the city center of Li City. He booked a riverboat last night. This boat was owned by a famous hotel in Li City. They were known nationwide for their specialty in the local Li City cuisine. The riverboat only had one room. If they wanted to ride on the boat while enjoying a meal, they would have to make a booking to reserve the entire boat.
Since money was not a concern for them, Cheng Dongge booked the whole boat. The four of them sat there, feeling like how scholars and their beautiful partners toured on the raft in the ancient times.
Cheng Dongge only ordered a few spicy specialties. The other dishes were on the blander spectrum to accommodate Song Yu. He also ordered four bowls of bird’s nest as he knew that Grandmother Qi insisted that Song Yu drink one bowl every day.
Song Yu looked at the night river view through the windows. There were a few boats like theirs moving slowly on the surface. She recalled the time when she fell into the water, Qi Chengzhi was on the boat and saw her through the window. Then, he dashed out and jumped into the water immediately to save her. The only difference back then was that it happened during winter, on an almost frozen lake.
Song Yu turned around to look at Qi Chengzhi. She secretly moved her hand and placed it on the back of his hand under the table. It was as if Qi Chengzhi knew what she was thinking and wrapped his hand over hers.
Back then, he stayed on the boat and looked at her with Jian Yi and Guan Xiaolin on the shore. Right now, she was with him on the boat.
The dishes were not served yet. Song Yu was too shy to show too much affection for Qi Chengzhi in front of Qi Chengyue and Cheng Dongge, if not, she would have already leaned on Qi Chengzhi’s shoulders.
“Do you want me to jump once more?” Qi Chengzhi’s voice rang beside her ear. She did not notice when he closed in and speak softly into her ears.
“What are you saying?” Song Yu said in amusement. She turned around and saw his charming face and felt secured.
“Right, when are you guys planning to have your honeymoon?” Qi Chengyue asked. She had already set their wedding date and Qi Chenglin even booked the ballroom with Dynasty.
“After Song Yu gives birth and is done with her confinement,” Qi Chengzhi said. At that time, the dishes were served one after another.
“Oh, that’s great, what if we have our honeymoon together? Where do you guys want to go?” Qi Chengyue looked at Song Yu. She assumed that Song Yu would be the one to decide the location.
“I haven’t decided yet,” Song Yu answered. Qi Chengzhi served a bowl of soup for her. “Actually, I was thinking is it too much if we just leave our newborn child right after?”
“Don’t tell me you want to wait until he weans? That’ll take some time,” Qi Chengzhi said lightly, “When he starts to understand things, he’ll be stuck to you. You won’t be able to leave him behind by then. The next time we’ll get to go for a holiday would be in our golden years.”

Ruan Danchen was about to head out for lunch when she received a call from Song Yu. After the call, she hurried down the stairs.
Song Yu was sitting in the Mercedes-Benz from the old mansion. Xiao Fan drove her over. She got down of the car when she saw Ruan Danchen came down from the building.
“Why did you came here?” Ruan Danchen was aware of Song Yu’s health. Qi Chengzhi applied two months of leave for her. Ruan Danchen even called her so that she could arrange a day to go visit her, but Song Yu came over first instead.
“I just came back from Li City. I know that you like spicy food. I bought this Firewood Chicken from there. Here’s the chicken and soup base. You can just add some dishes and eat it as a hotpot,” Song Yu said. She said while holding a gift box, “Since you live alone and you’re too lazy to cook, this is much more convenient.”
“You always think of me whenever you go, are you trying to make me indebted to you!” Ruan Danchen opened her arms and gave Song Yu a bear hug.
Song Yu put the gift box into the car and said laughingly, “Let’s go and have lunch first.”
Ruan Danchen followed her into the car and said, “How’s your body? Why are you over here? You can just give me a call, I’ll go straight to your place.”

“Don’t worry, we can go to Dynasty,” Song Yu said. “How are you going to have lunch then?”
Since Song Yu was with Ruan Danchen, Qi Chengzhi did not want to bother them. When he was about to answer, he saw Qi Chenglin walk out from the elevator and answered, “I’m with Chenglin.”
Song Yu glanced at Ruan Danchen. She was thinking of asking Qi Chengzhi to bring along Qi Chenglin to have lunch together, but she was worried that Ruan Danchen would be nervous. Also, she wanted to have a good chat with Ruan Danchen, so she gave up on that idea.

Song Yu and Ruan Danchen walked into Dynasty. Manager Qian came up and looked at both of them before greeting them smilingly, “Ms. Song, Ms. Ruan, do you guys want to go to Young Master Cheng’s room or Young Master Lin’s room today?”
Song Yu was stunned for a moment before looking at Ruan Danchen with a coy expression, the corner of her mouth curved upwards as if she was smiling.
Ruan Danchen could only laugh guiltily. “I’m not close to Young Master Lin, it’s not nice to use his room.”
