Luke got up and raced to the living room. "Mother, you are done the conversation. I am so glad that you are back safe and sound." He sat down on a chair next to her.
Carlos chuckled, "it seems that the kid is very attached to Kitty but I can't blame him. Kitty has that personality to draw one in. Let's go and listen to what she has to say." He put down the dishes he was washing by hand and followed the rest out of the room.

It was Ketan's parents that switched me over to her blood. Once I was used to Sylvie's blood they left me to continue to drink the blood. I was warned not to stop unless I wanted the powers to come back. I was concerned about the baby's well being so I refused to drink Sylvie's blood. She freaked out at me and warned me multiple times. I broke the first three seals and there are still four more to go." She looked down at the ground
"Wait wait, you drank my parent's blood for two years? That is crazy they went into hiding sixteen years ago. My father can't die and my mother refuses to let herself pass in case their bond does not allow them to pass away together. I haven't seen them since they left." Ketan watches Kitty closely.
"I nearly killed him, Ketan. Your parents saved me but also went away because I am a being that hasn't been around for over five thousand years.
