Stella got in and held in the urge to look at the adorable little girl. "I am willing to hold on to things in my lap. I want nothing more than to help but the little one who is so frightened of me."
"Alright, since we are all here let us be off!" Cindy pulled the car out of the driveway.
Carlos looked at Leo and could tell from the endearing names that it was Kitty that called. "Is everything alright?"
"You have a soft side that is only there when you have your girl around you. I may not know you that well but if you have a lot of enemies they will go after her will they not? I will not do anything that could put my life in danger. I'm merely observing." Peter spoke up and looked up at Leo in amazement.
Ketan came out from the door and the whole shed was on fire. He stepped up to Leo, "all the lives that were there are now no longer living. It was hard to do but since that is the wish of the one that I talked to I complied. I really hope that we do not run into anymore like this. It would be most upsetting."
"Thank you, Ketan. I also hope that we do not run into something like this again as well. We'll go to the second place. The flames will go out without our need to put them out correct?" Leo looked over at Peter, "if anything happens to my fiance I would kill the individual responsible."
"Once the contents are melted down and the wood from the shed is burned down, then the flames will go out. I have them controlled and that is what I have commanded." Ketan stood next to Leo and thought about the next place, "yes, I know where to go. Let's head out then." He grabbed ahold of each person and transported them all to the next house.
Leo looked at the place and pulled out his phone and saw that it was the one on the file. "It's a good sign that the curtains are open in this place but that could also mean that maybe someone else is living here." Leo went up to the door and knocked and when no one came to the door he took the key and opened the door. He stepped inside and saw that the lights were off. "Okay, here is the plan. I want Ketan to go upstairs, Carlos and Peter will search the main floor and I will take the basement. Most of the hidden rooms are in the basement. There are two upstairs and one on the main floor. When the floor is clear text me then I will open the doors and we shall see what else we can find."
"You got it, Boss." Carlos looked around the hallway and started to get a feel for the main floor from glancing around.
Ketan walked away from the group, "see you guys soon."
Peter followed Carlos and looked back at Leo and wondered what the purpose of splitting them up was.
Leo nodded at Peter and then went to the basement door. He turned on the light and walked down the stairs. He checked each room and found nothing that was of any help and there were not really any books. Suddenly he got a waft of a foul smell and looked around until he found the door. He entered the override code and the door opened slowly bringing in a stench so foul that Leo almost threw up. He covered his face with the scarf that he had in his pocket and walked into the room. He clicked on the light and saw that there were dead bodies in the room. He saw that they were decomposing and that they were all humans that had gone missing. 'That is strange that I found this in here. If I remember correctly this was supposed to be the secret study… then again there is nothing that should shock me anymore.' Leo couldn't see anything in the room that would've made sense so he stepped out of the room and shut the door. He slowly crept down the hallway until he was far enough away. He opened the last hidden door and that was when he found a chemistry like lab.
Carlos bolted downstairs after tying Peter to the fridge door handle. "Leo are you okay? That smell hit me and I was worried that you would be unwell." He was staring at Leo who was looking into a room.
Leo looked up at Carlos and sighed, "I am fine. There were some dead bodies in the last room I looked in. Go, finish your floor and I will come up when I am done in this room. I can not have you or Ketan help with the room. I do not want to risk either one of you being affected by what could be in here."
"Is this the chemical? If that is the case I will leave you to do this room and go back to my floor. I do not want to turn on you." Carlos took several steps back and left the room
"I do not know if that is what is in this room but I would like you to leave the area in case it gets broken. Kitty would kill me if I harmed anyone of you." Leo waited until Carlos left the floor and then proceeded to go into the room. He walked around and saw that there were different mixtures and he opened the fridge and was shocked over the amount of blood in the fridge.
Ketan popped behind Leo and looked at the blood, "it's the blood of the deranged. When we were in the basement I noticed that there was a strong smell of blood. I wasn't sure if it was because of the vampires being there but now that I see it is the blood of the deranged. My floor is clear. I will be careful to not touch anything in this room. It is a dangerous room for any of...well except you for now."
