"Carlos is the cook that Leo has hired to help with Luke as he was a big eater and Leo wasn't able to be home all the time. Since Luke was his adopted son he wanted him to get the best food possible." Kitty smiled at Liz before glancing at the house.
Leo looked at Ketan and sighed. "You really know how to push her buttons? It is okay though I am sure that she is not all that mad. I just hope that she doesn't kill you one day." He shook his head and looked at Stella and Peter. "Do you mind if I watch the process? This is something that I wouldn't mind watching but that is only if you do not mind. Seeing this is a loving environment rather than something that is forced."
Stella looked at Peter while Peter looked at her. "I do not mind Leo and since I am the one being bitten there is not a whole lot that Peter can complain about. Besides it is an interesting process from what I understood."
Peter touched Stella's cheek while she was staring into his eyes. "I have no complaints. Having someone bare witness to my undying love for the girl of my dreams is something that I am actually excited about. Bella, you are the only one that I will ever love. I will enjoy each bit that brings us closer to being bonded."
Stella leaned her neck back and her breathing became hitched. She closed her eyes but kept a smile on her face. "I am truly glad that you survived. I wanted you to become mine and mine alone. I saw that you had tried to do everything in your power to keep me safe and I know that you will continue to do this in the future."
Peter bit her neck and drank a little bit of blood then moved down her arm and bit again. With each bit and drink, he took he licked the puncture wounds. He bit the tips of her fingers and then went to the other side of her body.
Slowly there was a faint outline on his chest. He bit and drank her blood and this time he was brought to his knees from the pain. He placed his hand over his chest and closed his eyes.
"The bond will be half complete. Take a bit of a break until the pain subsides. You can't push yourself in that state and you are not like myself. I am told that I might go berserk when I get my mark. My mother went crazy and attacked my father but he just let it happen as there is nothing he could do otherwise. It doesn't happen that way for all vampires, just ones that are like me... 'Special'." Ketan raised his hands and the word special and bent his pointer and middle finger as if he was quoting something.
Peter took a step back and away from Stella. Once he leaned against the tree only then was he able to focus on his breathing. The pain ripped through him and he touched over his heart.
Stella turned and looked at Peter worriedly but then remembered that this was a part of the process. "Do you think it will be able to be finished today?"
Ketan looked at Peter and walked over to him. He touched Peter's shoulder and used some magic to soothe the pain. "You guys will be able to finish. There is nothing to worry about. The only thing Peter is feeling is pain from the mark forming. I hear that each blood bonded mark is different."
Leo watched the process but wasn't worried about it. "I am glad that I am able to watch. I know that this is something that is not normally done with spectators. Thank you both. Stella, how are you feeling?"
"I am not bad. The blood that is being taken from me is not a whole lot but it is enough to make the bond happen. I may need to feed before we go back or if you think that Peter will need more time I could find an animal right now." Stella looked into Peter's eyes and saw that he was calming down.
"Hunt after the bond. I do not want to have to worry about you. I want to keep you within," A deep breath and small pause, "my sight." Peter smiled up at her and lifted his arm and pulled her on top of him. Once she was on top of him he bit her again.
Ketan took a few steps back and was back beside Leo. "I think that I will go and capture a target for her. I know that the thrill of the hunt would be fun but she will suffer the same pain as he is once the bond is completed."
"I trust you Ketan. Go ahead and I will stay here to watch these two they will not go anywhere and you can always track them down if they do." Leo looked over at Ketan.
"Stella, I will grab you something to drink from so that way you will not need to hunt in pain. I will not be gone for long and I will leave Leo here to watch over you two. I know that you guys won't go anywhere and I trust that you will be here when I get back." Ketan transported to a cave and picked out a bear that was young and hot-blooded. It made Ketan's blood boil but before he attacked the bear he put it to sleep and teleported it back to the others.
Peter stopped biting Stella and looked into her eyes. "Before I bit you anymore, I want you to drink blood. I am worried that you are getting low. I can tell you are starting to struggle, your breathing is getting heavy and your blood is not as thick as it was when I first started. I know that you will survive but I do not want to accidentally hurt you in the bonding process."
