"I, alright..." responded William via voice transmission.
"System, help me out." thought William.
System began to explain the basics of what it did to figure out the rigged tables and how to win.
"I was able to notice the rigged tables quite easily actually..." said William as he listened to system explain all the flaws it noticed from the rigged tables and repeated them. Naturally in a way which made it seem as if he saw it or heard it himself, rather than system detecting things under the table, etc.
Ken was shocked at all the flaws William mentioned.
"The reason I was able to win was because I could predict the outcome using complex mathematical equations..." said William as he once more repeated some of the simpler equations that system used to predict the outcomes.
Naturally he left plenty of things out as not to scare them, but it was enough to make Ken believe him.
"You're... You're very smart kid. It would seem I don't have to worry that anybody might copy you're methods." replied Ken a bit shocked at first but soon relaxed.
"Does that mean you will let us go?" asked William.
Nin Li stared at Ken when William asked this question.
"Let you go... hmm" replied Ken as he began to contemplate.
"Say kid, why did you disguise yourself? From what you told me the method you used to win doesn't require any disguise." said Ken.
"I was trying to disguise myself as an adult, because I thought if I came in as a kid that I might not be taken seriously or allowed in." replied William
"See to me that sounds reasonable but I feel there is something more to it than that." replied Ken contemplating once more.
"You know, there is a man commonly known as big boss Xuan. I call him Xuan Xuan... He's been looking for a kid matching your description for quite some time now. He even put a big bounty on the kid's head." said Ken
Nin Li and William simply stared at Ken not saying anything.
"On that note, I must say I find Xuan Xuan to be rather vulgar. Still, I hear this child humiliated him multiple times now. I do hope he finds him, it's a shame no one has any idea where this child is..." said Ken.
"I hope he does, too... so are we going to be allowed to leave?" asked William
Ken paused for a moment and made eye contact with William.
"You may go, I'll even let you keep your winnings. However, the two of you are banned from returning. Is that understood? Oh and you may speak again darling" replied Ken as he smiled at Nin Li.
"Thank you, manager Ken." replied Nin Li.
"Thank you" replied William.
The two were then escorted out of the underground facility.
Once Nin Li and William were a distance away.
"That was close, looks like they weren't able to see through my disguise at least." said Nin Li.
"I think he sent someone to track us." said William
"Really, I didn't notice anyone." replied Nin Li with a serious face.
Neither did William. However, system notified him that they were being followed.
"He seems, to be quite a distance away. I'm rather surprised he can track us from so far away." replied William.
"He must be someone with some sort of observational or visual spell" replied Nin Li.
"I'm surprised he noticed, even I didn't sense this guy. The tracker seems to be a pro at concealment as well." thought Nin Li
"Do you know a way we can loose him?" asked William
"I do, follow me" replied Nin Li
Nin Li led William to a very crowded area of the market.
"William when I give the signal, we'll mix in with that huge crowd. Then dispel your disguise, I'll toss you my ring and change into someone else. He isn't looking for me and with the ring he won't be able to see through your disguise." said Nin Li via voice transmission.
The plan went exactly as planned. William changed into an old man and Nin Li into her regular human form.
The tracker having lost them, was stunned that they disappeared and couldn't help himself but get closer. All he saw was a young lady helping her grandpa with his shopping on the market. After looking around a bit longer he gave up and left.
Nin Li and William heaved a sigh of relief, and proceeded to pick up their carriage to head back to the tower.
Once, the two arrived at the tower. Moj Dak was waiting for them in front, with a disproving look on his face.
