The cicadas were singing, and the sky was painted with vibrant colors. The beautiful Holy Son and the handsome Holy Knight held each other’s hands, face to face, gazing deeply into each other’s eyes.

Lucifer, still a bit incredulous, spoke with an almost urgent tone, “Say it again, what you said just now.”

Pei Xia, passionate and resolute, declared, “Please be with me, Your Grace. I love you!”

Upon hearing this, Lucifer’s grip on Pei Xia’s hand tightened, and he gazed at him with utmost concentration. “Not ‘Your Grace,’ call me by my name.”

By this point, Pei Xia, who had finally come to his senses, was feeling a bit embarrassed. He lowered his gaze and stuttered, “Lu-Lucifer, I love you. If there’s still a place for me in your heart, please choose me over Ryan. I’ll do my best to make you happy.”

At that moment, Lucifer didn’t hesitate at all and blurted out, “Okay.”

Pei Xia was momentarily stunned. Despite being the one who initiated the confession, and even though Lucifer had liked him before, it still felt surreal.

He couldn’t help but look up at Lucifer, trying to find a hint of teasing in his expression, but there was none.

The warm sunlight illuminated Lucifer’s clear, beautiful eyes, which were like gazing at the rising sun through a crystal-clear glacier, radiating a breathtaking clarity. His golden, silky hair seemed to reflect the orange hues of the setting sun, creating a brilliant and colorful display.

Lucifer’s face, as if meticulously crafted by a deity, broke into a deeper and more enchanting smile, blossoming like the moon in the night: “Pei Xia, is this what you asked for?”

“Yes,” Pei Xia nodded hesitantly, needing reassurance, “So, you really agreed to be with me, and now we are…”

Lucifer nodded, cradling Pei Xia’s cheek and with a smile that made his eyes crescent-shaped: “Lovers.”

Pei Xia’s face turned bright red, and his hand trembled. He quickly withdrew it and began to act like an excited, flustered creature, moving his hands and feet in all directions.

It’s true!

He couldn’t help it, but he also felt a bit embarrassed. The courage he had when he confessed had disappeared, leaving only joy, excitement, shyness, and self-criticism.

It was too informal, far too informal!

Someone like Lucifer deserved a confession with a perfect setting, props, and characters. Pei Xia should have been more composed, selecting a better moment. Perhaps in a beautiful garden or by a fountain under the blue sky, holding a bouquet of roses as he confessed.

But instead, he blurted it out impulsively!

Pei Xia covered his face in embarrassment, bowing slightly.

A cool warmth pressed against his back as Lucifer gently embraced him. “Why do you look so silly?”

“Well, I am being silly, right?” Pei Xia covered his face and whispered, “I feel like I’m in a dream.”

Lucifer chuckled, covering Pei Xia’s hand with his own and resting his chin on his shoulder, his silky hair cascading over Pei Xia’s shoulder. “It was you who rejected me before, and now, it’s as if you’ve realized your dream.”

Pei Xia furrowed his brows, straightening his posture and dropping his hand. “Right! I almost forgot!”

Lucifer burst into laughter.

Pei Xia’s ears tingled, and he cautiously raised his hand to rub them. This time, he accidentally elbowed Lucifer.

“I, I was just too excited,” Pei Xia said, defending himself, “I felt like you were laughing at me for being silly. Besides, I had my reasons for rejecting you before. It’s just that now, I think you’re more important than those reasons. I love you, and I’m willing to overcome any difficulties for you!”

This, this is love!

Pei Xia’s gaze was resolute.

Lucifer felt immensely happy.

He was used to effortlessly handling everything. And once he achieved success in a game, he quickly lost interest. What he desired was usually within easy reach. Pei Xia was an unexpected exception, but now he belonged to Lucifer.

However, Lucifer wasn’t thinking about these things at all.

It was as if at this moment, his heart was filled with pure joy.

Overwhelmed with happiness because of Pei Xia, Lucifer couldn’t help but reach out, gently caressing Pei Xia’s face. No matter what, at this moment, his affection for him was genuine.

As a new couple who had just confirmed their relationship, they were wrapped up in each other. Pei Xia thought for a moment and felt that since he had taken the initiative to bridge the gap between them, he should take responsibility.

So, he broke free from Lucifer’s embrace, turned around, and opened his arms, trying to embrace Lucifer as best as he could by standing on his tiptoes, assuming a protective stance.

Pei Xia spoke earnestly, “From today onwards, I will do my best to fulfill my role as your boyfriend, Your Grace.”

Lucifer sensed something was a bit off, but he was pleasantly surprised by Pei Xia’s determination. Not wanting to discourage the earnest knight, he cooperated, raising his hands, and looking at Pei Xia with a dependent expression. “Xia, I entrust myself to you.”

Pei Xia nodded seriously but with a playful sway.

Oops, standing on tiptoes was a bit unstable.

At that moment, Ryan, who had been knocked down earlier, staggered to his feet. He covered his swollen eye and couldn’t believe it. “Lucifer, Pei Xia, are you doing this because of me?”

Pei Xia took the opportunity to let go of Lucifer, his heels back on the ground. He glared at Ryan and said angrily, “Ryan, don’t get delusional. A guy like you, irresponsible and unfaithful, isn’t even worthy of polishing His Grace’s shoes!”

Ryan was shocked, “Do you humans take your relationships to this extreme?”

Pei Xia: “?? Well, I can’t explain it to you, but the point is, you’re not worthy. From now on, I am His Grace’s partner!”

With that, he gave Ryan another matching panda-eye look. Pei Xia gestured, “Men, throw him out!”

“Yes, Captain!” Without a second thought, Buck and the others rushed out from the corner, swiftly tossing Ryan out.

Pei Xia, who remained in place, suddenly paused.

Wait a minute, they were so close, didn’t they see and hear everything that just happened?

The six Holy Knights, some with smiles, some excited, some teary-eyed, all offered their blessings without exception.

Pei Xia was surprised, “You don’t object?”

Buck gave him a strange look, “Object to what? I thought you and His Grace had been together for a long time. Turns out you just revealed this relationship today.”

“Exactly.”

Tom, pretending to cry, said, “So, Captain and His Grace weren’t together before? Oh dear, I wish I had made a move back then.”

“Cut it out. Stop crying, you’ll find someone to cry more than you when you get back.”

Tom immediately wiped away his tears and gloated, “True, haha!”

Pei Xia felt a mix of embarrassment and warmth, unable to find the right words to say. He simply said, “In that case, tonight, I’ll cook dinner for everyone to celebrate!”

The people present: “…”

After a moment of silence, they all chimed in, “No, no, that’s too much trouble.”

“Yeah, Captain, you’d better spend more time with His Holiness.”

“I’ve already prepared tonight’s dinner, really!”

Pei Xia chuckled and scratched his head, “I see, alright then.”

The group collectively breathed a sigh of relief.

Afterward, the other Holy Knights continued to prepare dinner and tidy up the courtyard, while Pei Xia continued to spend time with Lucifer.

With no one else around, Lucifer said, “Pei Xia, now that we’re lovers, you don’t need to address me as Your Grace, which sounds so formal.”

Pei Xia chuckled, “Yes, Your Grace, it does feel a bit strange. So, what should I call you then?”

Lucifer rested his chin on his hand and playfully pointed at his own lips, “What do you think?”

“Lucifer?”

“That’s still quite formal.”

“Lord Lucifer?”

Lucifer sighed, “Do you think that’s any different from Your Grace?”

Pei Xia looked at him with a hint of desperation.

Lucifer enjoyed teasing his Holy Knight and seductively asked, “If you want it to be more intimate, just like how I call you Xia, what should you call me?”

Pei Xia blushed and affectionately called out, “Fei Fei!”

Lucifer replied, “No need to be that intimate.”

Pei Xia looked lost and a little anxious, “I’m sorry, I must be too clumsy. Your Grace, I’m sorry.”

Pei Xia lowered his head in disappointment and said, “I can’t even handle such a small thing properly, yet I’ve been speaking so boldly to you.”

At this moment, Lucifer had to admit that he had softened. He raised his hand to gently hold Pei Xia’s shoulder and reluctantly said, “No, that name actually isn’t too bad upon closer thought.”

Pei Xia’s eyes brightened, and he looked up at Lucifer, “So can I keep calling you like this? Only in private, though. I’ll use a different title when we’re in public, is that okay?”

“Alright, I promise,” Lucifer said, smiling with a touch of helplessness.

After dinner, while Pei Xia had just taken on the role of Lucifer’s boyfriend, he felt that he shouldn’t rush things and continued to serve Lucifer as he did before. After helping Lucifer with his bath, Pei Xia went to the adjacent room to take his own shower.

In the meticulously cleaned room, there was a sticky black mass slowly wriggling on the floor.

[“Great Master, congratulations on your wish coming true! Oh, you are the embodiment of perfection. A mere Holy Knight cannot escape your grasp. Who is the next target in your sights?”]

Lucifer lowered his head slowly and placed his foot on the black shadow, gently squishing it.

The shadow demon, crushed mercilessly, was both bewildered and aggrieved, not knowing where it had gone wrong.

[“Perfect Master, great Master, wise Master, when do you plan to abandon Lord Pei Xia? Haha, he will surely display a shocked and broken-hearted expression, immersed in the foolishness of love! He’s only fit to be your plaything.”]

Lucifer, pinching the shadow demon’s neck, raised the corners of his lips, wearing a smile that was neither genuine nor fake, [“Who said I was going to abandon him, hmm?”]

The shadow demon, weak and helpless, looked at Lucifer, ‘Not abandon him? Is this still the Master with a taste for the macabre I know?’

But, the shadow demon continued hesitantly, [“Lord Pei Xia, though he may differ in some aspects, is just like everyone else, eventually captivated by the image you’ve fabricated. He has shallowly fallen in love with your exterior. Do you really want to keep him by your side?”]

Lucifer furrowed his brows slightly, [“Nonsense.”]

The shadow demon’s voice turned into a mosquito-like whisper, [“Do you intend to keep up the pretense in front of him?”]

Lucifer: “…”

[“If you keep spouting such annoying nonsense, I’ll tear you to shreds and feed you to the dogs. Also, don’t speak ill of Pei Xia in front of me.”]

Casually threatening the shadow demon, Lucifer let go and lightly kicked the shadow demon out of the room.

He was in a good mood today and didn’t want to bother with the noisy demon.

After a while, Pei Xia walked in, his hair slightly disheveled, looking a bit nervous.

After the change in their relationship status, some things weren’t as simple anymore, like the current situation – cohabitation!

Pei Xia turned his head and saw Lucifer on the bed, wearing a thin nightgown, posing seductively, and looking irresistibly charming. He felt a bit flustered.
