Standing in Novi Grad a half day later, I let my sensory ability spread out to see if I could find a trace of the Mind Stone.
After feeling a faint energy somewhere outside the city I followed it.
I concentrate my chakra into my feet and start to run through the snowy woods.
It seems that Hydra has some personnel problems, since I could not find any soldiers patrolling around. That means Shield did a good job for once.
Coming near a hill with the Hydra facility on it, I could see soldiers guarding the area.
Some were even wandering in the woods in front of it.
I move closer to the wall and use my Sharingan to observe the soldiers more closely.
After analyzing their weapons and outfits, I used my chakra to recreate the same winter camo outfit that the soldiers wear and also recreated a replica of their assault rifle.
Sensing that no one was on the wall above me and seeing no cameras that looked my way, I jumped on it and walked to the front entrance.
A man in black clothing was standing guarding the entrance. Walking to him, I use my Sharingan on him and he opens the door for me.
After entering, I changed my clothes again to the same black ones the soldier had and made a cap to block the view of my face to the cameras.
Walking through a narrow corridor, I came across a few soldiers but not the man I was searching for.
I wanted to find Strucker so that I could make it easy for myself and don't start a bloodbath here.
After asking a friendly soldier where Strucker is, he told me he was sleeping in his room on the top floor.
Walking for nearly fifteen minutes, I landed in front of a closed door and knocked on it. A guy with a monocle stepped out looking pissed.
"What do you want?"
I activated my Sharingan to catch him in a Genjutsu and make him obedient to me.
"Hello Strucker don't you remember your own allies?"
He looked at me again and his eyes went wide.
"Pierce you survived? I thought you got killed in Washington."
"Do you really think someone could kill me? I came to see how your progress is with your experiments."
"No, of course not! I always thought you would survive. Please follow me."
I followed him into the basement through a hidden door and asked him some questions that were on my mind when we walked down.
There were some soldiers and the rest were scientists who created weapons or worked on computers.
When we walked further in, Strucker opened a door with his fingerprints.
Two prison cells could be seen in the room.
There was a twenty-one to twenty-three year old man dressed in white prison clothing and white hair sitting in one of the cells.
On a table in front of the cells, I saw a woman with brown hair and the same age as the man. She was lying there with the Mind Stone above her head, fixed on a device.
"Tell everyone to leave the laboratory."
Strucker nodded and screamed "Everyone get out, that's an order!"
When the scientist left the room, I asked him to explain what they had done to the twins so far.
"When we got the stone yesterday, we gave it to some of our guinea pigs. Only these two survived holding it and gained some abilities in the process.
The boy has super speed while the girl has telekinesis and some telepathy powers.
We also noticed that the girl gets more powerful every time she is near the stone.
She is only in this comatose state because she is near it. When we put the stone away, she will return to normal.
If we can find what is so special about them, we can create a lot of super-powered soldiers!"
Said the fucker proudly.
I walk towards Wanda and move the Mind Stone away from her.
Wanda opened slowly her eyes, which were glowing red, and grabbed my hand.
I could feel that she had used her powers to read some of my thoughts.
Smiling at her while I activate my Sharingan and I say, "Don't worry in a few minutes I will get you out of here."
She let go of my hand and closed her eyes again.
I walked over to Pietro who was staring at me.
"What do you want?" He asked with a strange accent and cocky tone.
"Strucker tell him what your organisation did to his country."
Strucker walks forward and starts talking.
"In order to keep the country unstable and keep people under control, we paid and used some politicians and agents to cause riots.
This civil war and the protests gave us also easy access to voluntary people, who wanted the power to save their country."
Hearing this Pietro got angry and ran several times against the glass prison trying to break it.
Because I didn't want him to hurt himself, I used my Sharingan to calm him down.
"Don't worry they will pay for that. I have him under my control. But first I need to take you and your sister out of here or other people will come and lock you up again."
I opened up his cell and the first thing he did was hit Strucker in the face. It seems even if he is calm his anger is still there.
"Pick up your sister and we will walk out of here. Don't worry, I will keep you two safe."
He picks up Wanda and waits for me.
"Strucker tell your men to get a helicopter here. Also you will escort us out and keep your people in check."
He stands up and nods and then takes out his walkie-talkie and gives orders.
Since Strucker was with us, no one even asked why he escorted us out.
Outside a small private helicopter landed on a helipad.
"Go in with your sister and I will take care of Strucker."
Pietro hesitated but Wanda said weakly "You can trust him, let us go out of here."
After they got in I walked up to Strucker,
"Delete all information about the two, and all video recordings from today.
After that, stop all projects and call Tony Stark in a few days to tell him what you did here, without mentioning me or the twins.
And when the Avengers appear, surrender to them."
After saying this I walked to the helicopter and we flew towards Novi Grad leaving Strucker and the Mind Stone to their fate.
