"No, I didn't see or sense any other ravens than yours and the normal ones that fly around." She says and stretches out her arm. My small raven comes from the living room and lands on her hand.
"Do you know who it belongs to?" she asks while patting its head.
"It is Odin, the king of Asgard, the father of Thor and probably one of the most powerful people in the universe." I say and sigh a bit.
I wasn't sure how far the story had progressed in Asgard and if Odin was already on Earth. However, one thing is certain, he is not someone you want to mess with.
She looks at me worriedly and asks, "Is he a threat to us?"
"No, I don't think so, but you can never know, so let's be careful." I say and caress her cheek a bit.
She nods and closes her eyes.
"We should probably freshen up and clean the kitchen before Pietro comes home." she suggested.
"Yeah, you are probably right."
We both stand up and walk to the bathroom.
After that, we cleaned up the kitchen, cooked together and then started to eat.
"Where is Pietro by the way? It's already time to eat." asked Wanda while looking at the clock on her phone and then at me.
I shrug and say, "He went with me to Shuri's lab and then stayed there, after I left."
She raises her eyebrows when she hears this. "He went to the lab, where Vision is? That sounds like trouble."
"Yes, but he didn't even spare Vision an eye and was with Shuri the whole time.
I would guess that he feared Shuri would kick his ass if he started a fight there.
Or he simply ignores him because he does not see him as the thing that attacked him before. We must ask Pietro if we really want to know the truth." I say in a relaxed tone.
Okoye probably beat him up after I left the lab, but I keep that for myself.
She smiles happily and says, "It seems like my brother is finally starting to grow up."
I nod and smile back.
After we finished eating, we got ourselves ready to go outside to train a bit. However, when we were at the door, someone knocked angrily.
Okoye was standing there, when I opened the door.
"Where is he? When I entered the lab, he held the princess's hand and now he will lose his hand for it!"
Hearing her, I wanted to close the door again.
But she doesn't wait for a response and starts to look around with her spear in hand.
How naughty of Pietro to hold Shuri's hand. That deserves punishment for sure.
"Be our guest." I say with a sigh and Wanda walks relaxed into the kitchen to make some tea.
She probably stayed calm because Okoye wouldn't really cut off his hand, at least I hoped she wouldn't.
After inspecting the entire house, she sat down with us on the couch and began drinking tea, while sighing.
"He is so troublesome... Our little princess was seduced by an outsider. If the king hears of this, I will be punished too, for sure." she says while letting her head down.
Seduced Shuri? No one can do this without her permission. She is one of the strongest-minded people I've encountered so far.
With a concern look, Wanda asked, "Isn't it her choice who she is with or not?"
"The problem is that she does that already. She always does what she wants and no one has ever been able to stop her."
I raise my brow and say, "Then why not let her be if she is happy doing so? Isn't that something an advanced culture should allow?"
"Yes, but she is still young and needs protection from men and the king gave me the order to do so."
Should I change my gender to a woman? That kinda hurt my feelings.
"Don't worry, Pietro is a good guy and I can see that he really cares about her." said Wanda happily, which didn't help Okoye at all.
Okoye sighs again, drinks out her tea and starts to leave. "Thanks for the tea and please tell him that he should keep his distance, before our king plays the dad and kicks his behind."
We nod, even when we know we can't do anything about it, because they are both too stubborn to listen to anyone.
We followed her outside and she flew away in a flying car, while an annoyed W'Kabi was the pilot.
"Come out. She is gone." I said to the guy who was hiding on the roof.
Pietro looks up, nods and comes down.
Wanda sighed seeing him and shook her head.
"I hope you are ready to face the king someday and now go inside and eat." she said, then took my hand and we started to walk to the open field, while Pietro sighed too and headed inside.
The next day T'Challa visited us and said that he would leave tomorrow with his father to talk to the UN.
He made it clear that we shouldn't be afraid, because Wakanda would never betray friends and hand them over, even when someone demanded that.
The same probably applies to Natasha and her group as well.
Even though I do not want to be handed over to the US, this could cause Wakanda a lot of trouble.
Most of us are considered terrorists. Even if no one was after us except for Shield yet, I'm pretty sure they would not be eager to hear that we were here.
I'm very curious to see how this plays out.
