Yang Tian frowned, this was the first game that he played. Although he wasn't much interested in it now but for someone as new to gaming as Ling Ya Qi, it should be very intriguing. Yang Tian didn't understand that he only felt intrigued by the game because it was his first introduction to gaming and technology in general. However for someone that's frequently in contact with technology like Ling Ya Qi, it would be more surprising if it wasn't boring.
Yang Tian made a serious face and looked at her:
- Alright, I was going to let you get a feel of the place before introducing this to you but since you insist... This is Age of Empires, a very popular strategy game.
- Age of Empires? I think I've heard of this before, is it any good?

Yang Tian began instructing Ling Ya Qi on how to play Age of Empires. She learned pretty fast so Yang Tian didn't waste too much effort:

Seeing Ling Ya Qi more and more absorbed into the game, Yang Tian silently went back to his computer. The event had begun and since it was the second day, if Yang Tian get a high ranking, when the arena match happens tomorrow, he will get an automatic advancement to the top and only needed to compete in the elimination matches in the evening.
Yang Tian must achieved this since he had to visit Mu Wu Han's house tomorrow so he couldn't participate in the matches tomorrow morning. The event today was the Illusionary Dream World. Players would enter this world and kill Dream Beasts. There were two requirements for success - you must kill to earn enough points and you couldn't die. The Dream Beasts were divided into 4 levels, each corresponding to the class ranks of the players. The distribution of points are: 1st rank 1 point, 2nd rank 5 point, 3rd rank 30 points and 4th rank 1000 points.
The reason for the difference in rewards was because even though the beasts would be at the same level, the difference in rank would mean that the skills and stats of higher rank beasts would be much higher. The 4th rank beasts also had special skills similar to a Divine Sage. Even if a 3rd rank player reach level 100, they wouldn't be able to win against a level 50 4th rank Dream Beast.
Yang Tian had already reached the max level 200 and he had the 4th rank class Divine Sage plus his top grade equipment. So his target was naturally the 4th rank Dream Beasts. However there was one thing to note - players can kill each other for points. This rule was made to eliminate the majority of the players.
Yang Tian was quickly transported to the Illusionary Dream World. He immediately used his Fire Domain skill. This skill would burn anything that's not in his party in a large radius during its duration. As long as the skill was up, Yang Tian only needed to run all over the map and lure mobs to get points while searching for the 4th rank Dream Beasts.
Although this skill was available to anyone that reached 3rd rank, if one didn't max out the skill or didn't have gear supporting its damage and reducing the fire resistant of the opponents, it was basically useless. Because of this, the people that can used the spell effectively can be counted on one hand. Yang Tian didn't stop running around and while more and more Dream Beasts aggroed to him, he still couldn't find a single 4th rank. A red line of text appeared in front of his screen:
- Player Di Wang had eliminate player Rye.
Before Yang Tian could figure out what was going on, more red text pop up.

Yang Tian was taken aback, the other people were that weak? He only needed to brush pass them and they were all dead. Yang Tian didn't know that these people had been battling 3rd rank Dream Beasts and their health was already low. As long as he did a certain amount of damage to them, even if the Dream Beasts kill them, he'll still get the credit for the kill.
Before logging off, those other players still left behind some choice remarks:
- Di Wang, did I do anything do offend you?
- Bastards, don't think that you can just kill other players because you are number 1.
- Just you wait, my clan leader won't let you off easily.
Of course Yang Tian ignored them. He didn't do it intentionally but if he did then so what? Since they were so weak like that, their chances of getting a Godhood would stil be extremely low. Continuing his search for a 4th rank Dream Beast, he finally stumbled into one.
This Dream Beast looked similar to a Western dragon with two large wings and spines all over its back. Its mouth was filled with sharp teeth and fire was coming out of its nostril. It seemed that this was a type of fire dragon. The fire dragon was very angrily confronting 3 other players. These three were only 3rd rank but their coordination was very good. A some was harassing with dragon with range attacks, another person was using spells to buff their allies and debuffing the fire dragon. The last person was going toe to toe with the dragon and was taking all the aggro. This person's skill was very good, he was dodging and weaving expertly, if not he'd have been eliminated after 3 hit by the dragon.
The three people who were struggling suddenly saw a pack of Dream Beasts charging in from the distance. Ahead of the pack was a player dressed in a shiny set of equipment. Under his feet was a ten sided star that was illuminating with ten different type of light. The three immediately recognized who the person was:
- Di Wang, is that you? You are my idol.
- That's right, that battle was truly legendary.
The three used English so Yang Tian could understand them. He responded:
- You guys wanted to kill the 4th rank Dream Beast?
- That's right, if we can kill it, with the points it gives, we can safely make it to the next round.
- That's impossible. Don't you know that a 4th rank Dream Beast is the same as a Divine Sage? It also possessed a special skill, you three stand no chance.

The three had never seen the special skill of a 4th rank and didn't know how powerful it was. However according to Di Wang, it's very frightening.
Yang Tian looked at the pack of Dream Beasts that was chasing him and began to use his aoe skills. After less than 3 minutes, the pursuing Dream Beasts were all annihilated. Looking at the health bar of the 4th rank Dream Beast, Yang Tian saw that it was only about 25% and typed in chat:
- When its health drop below 20%, it will use its special skill. You guys back off, I'll let you enjoy the show.
The three heard that and retreated, they trusted Yang Tian. With his power, if he wanted to steal this 4th rank Dream Beast and kill them afterwards, it would be a piece of cake. So he had no reason to play with them like this.
Yang Tian saw the three moved back and flew straight towards the Dream Beast. The ten sided star underneath his foot changed to red and yellow. This was Yang Tian switching all his resistance to fire resist. After throwing out some attacking skills, the Dream Beast's health had quickly drop to below 20%. It let out a loud roar and its entire body was shining brightly. After a few moments, the light disappeared and 2 fire dragons identical to the Dream Beast appeared with around 20% of the main dragon's HP.
The trio looked at this and quickly asked:
- What kind of skill is this? How's it so overpowered?
- This is its special body splitting skill of 4th rankers. Although the clones only have 50% of the main body, they are still very powerful.
The trio was silent, they luckily ran into Yang Tian, if not they would all die by the hands of the fire dragon. Yang Tian chatted:
- You guys should go seek other targets before the time runs out.
The trio heeded his words as only half the time limit was left. They've spent far too much time on this Dream Beast but didn't had the ability to beat it in the end.

After saying goodbye to Yang Tian, the trio left. Yang Tian opened his inventory and produced a large sword that was even bigger than he was. He looked at the fire dragon:
- Come, let see what's so special about this skill.
As he said that, he flew straight towards the nearest fire dragon and execute a high damage skill. The fire dragon's clone only had half its attack power and although it was still powerful, Yang Tian didn't even put it in his eyes. He repeatedly used 3 consecutive skill on the its body and the clone flashed out before exploding.
A large flame burst out but it was quickly absorbed by the main body. Yang Tian couldn't help but be taken aback:
- What kind of skill is this?
