I am Luna, I have lived all my life in an orphanage in Makara. 20 years ago a [Black Fog] appeared called [Miasma] that infected Sydocia, my mother at the time lived in a village close to the City of Makara, and when the [Miasma] reached the Village she fled with the rest of the Village people to the safety of Makara, but not without cost, my mother was hurt by a Monster that infected her with the [Miasma].
My Mother was born with the same Affinity as I did, Light, so she was able to fight against the [Miasma], but only to save one person, me. Ever since I can remember I always wanted to do the same, I want to save people like my mother saved me.
We are being led into an Atrium with a big statue of Ilova, the Goddess of light. The Sun's light is shining on her from the open ceiling, increasing the beauty of the statue, before the Statue is a shallow pool with water that is giving off light.
I am here to become a Sister of Light, there are 2 other girls with me for the same reason, we all just turned 18 and our Affinity was tested to be [Magic Affinity: Light], so we can join the Sisters of Light.
" High Priestess, they are all here to receive our Goddess's Blessing"the Priestess that brought us here after the tests said to the woman sitting between the shallow pool and the statue, on a cushioned stone seat that was on a slightly raised platform, so that the person on the seat is still above the pool but can still see everything in the pool. "Until you are dressed in your robes they will not speak with you, out of respect for your feelings." the Priestess that was leading us explained to us when we looked confused.
We entered a room with one big bed inside of it and three closets, with my name on one of the closets, the room was connected with a bathroom and had a small area for sitting, two couches and three chairs, the bed looks big enough for five people, so I am assuming we all are going to share it.
"Can I ask a question?" one of the girls asked the Priestess.
"Of Course" she responded with a kind smile.
"What did you mean when you said they did not speak to us out of respect for our feelings?" the girl asked. I wanted to know that too but did not want to bother the Priestess with that.
"Some girls responded badly when asked questions by our fellow Sisters while they were still naked, they felt embarrassed or humiliated, even through my fellow Sisters never meant to come off as such, so it was decided that it was better to talk to them after they have gotten their robes" the Priestess explained, with a sad expression.
"Oh, Thank you for answering" the same girl said with understanding.
We all walked to our closet with our name on it and took some robes out to wear,'where is the underwear?', I put on the robes, and they were made from soft material and again pure white, but with a blue lining, the robe ended at our knees.
"So, no underwear?" I asked the priestess, making her smile.
"Yes, the Robes do not come with underwear, we do not wear them here." she explained, making us all look at her when she lifted her robes to show she was naked underneath it.
"Now that you are Sisters, my name is Aliya, and I welcome you into my Embrace" Aliya said then walked over to each of us and kissed us, then explained that was the way other Sisters greet each other.
