Kali was running to the direction that [Hunter's Mark] was telling her Annika was at, it did not take long for her to be interrupted when she sensed something to her right, so she slowed down and sneaked to it. It was 7 wolves eating 3 dead goblins, normally Kali would just walk around them, except for the fact that these wolves have a black spot on their chest and black veins going through their body's starting at the black spot.
'So, wolves can also be corrupted' Kali thought, while looking them over, these wolves are faster than the Orcs, so will be harder to kill, but still possible.
She used [Mystery Movement] to close the gap without being seen, then danced between them while slashing at their throats at high speed, just as she always did, since she also wants to know if that regeneration of the wounds also happens with something else corrupted that is not an Orc. The wolves were busy eating, so they did not pay attention, but sadly they were all at annoying angles to hit their throat, so she could only slash at 5 of them before the other 2 at the furthest away dead goblin stopped eating and attacked her.

It took her about 1 hour of running to get close enough where the Skill is telling her where Annika is, sadly the Skill only tells general direction, not specific location, so she needed to find them herself, but she already found a trail to follow. After following it, she only took 10 minute to find them, they were slaughtering some goblins, Slaughtering and not fighting because Nina was just spamming [Water Bolt] at them.
"You look hot," Kali said when she got close to them, making them jump and turned to her.
"One of these days my first instinct will be to hit the thing that made me jump, and it will hurt," Annika grumbled, getting annoyed that someone could get this close, if it was not Kali but something else, it could kill them before they knew what happened.
"Hi Kali, everything okay?" Nina asked in concern, since Kali normally would just run around till the night, unless she had something important to say.
"Yeah, just came to report something"Kali explained then told them what happened, and her conclusion that it was the [Miasma].
"That does sound like it, Maybe when that Black Fog was in front of me I could [Appraise] it," Nina suggested,"Okay, but do not take a risk, my [Primal Instinct] screamed at me to move away from it and run, and it was actually chasing me, so I think the Black Fog can corrupt beings, also be wary of its blood, it is also black like the Fog so be careful." Kali finished, then said goodbye and left to scout more of the forest.
When Kali left Nina and Annika talked about the info given to them by Kali.
"Those Orcs sound dangerous, we better be careful when we meet them,"Nina concluded after hearing what they can do. They were not stupid, so they knew that the only reason that Kali had been able to kill them was her speed, and that they did not wear full armor. If they had full armor their necks would be protected and Kali would need way more slashes to go through that.
Nina and Annika kept walking around, after a short while saw another 6 goblins, and Nina used her new skill she gained when she reached Level 10 in [Water Mage].

"They will soon not give any exp to me too, what then?" Nina asked, ignoring the goblins now they are dead, the goblins have become routine to them, just like Kali, they have found their way of wiping them out, Nina can just use [Water Ball] and Annika found out that her armor is more powerful than she thought, she leveled [Armour Proficiency] up to 2 by letting 5 goblins hit her, and after 10 min of them hitting her they did no damage, And she killed them with one [Cleave].
They both gained more confidence in themselves,"We will need Kali to tell us a location for increasing our power, but first I think we can kill the goblins at the camp when we all reached level 15 at least." Annika responded, since with Nina's [Water Ball] it becomes easier to deal with their numbers.
They kept walking around and when they find a goblin patrol, Nina killed them, and she reached level 14 in short time, then Annika started killing them to get to level 14 too. After the last group they noticed that most goblins at this time gave much lower exp, so they started the trek home, they also think that goblins at high level are rare, since the highest of all the goblins they killed today was level 6.
When they were walking home, Annika started feeling a danger around them.
'Something is stalking us,'Annika concluded, and she knew it was not Kali since she is much better at sneaking, and also did not feel malicious, but this did.

She noticed a shadow at a tree so pointed at it, immediately Nina pointed her finger at it and 2 Water Bolts came from it and impacted the area Annika pointed at. It revealed the shadow as a big goblin, wearing a small loincloth, and leather straps over its torso in an X form, for a weapon it has a short sword. If Kali was here she would say that it is one of the Goblins she saw enter the big tent.

When it noticed that it was discovered it yelled loudly and yelling further in the forest answered it.
"It has friends, you know the plan,"Annika said to Nina, since they have a plan if they ever were to be surrounded.
Annika charged at the big goblin and attacked it, it was smarter than the other goblins, so it did not defend instead it dodged, the dodge was successful, and the goblin took the chance to hit Annika in the chest with a short sword it had, making a cut on her armor, but not being able to cut through it. Nina took the time to shoot a [Water Bolt] at the big goblin, and since it reached level 3 it shoots 2 water bolts, one misses it, but the other one hits its torso, throwing it backwards slightly, and the Big goblin is now sporting a red spot on its torso next to the straps from where the [Water Bolt] hit, and Annika used the unbalanced state of the big goblin as a distraction to hit it with her axe, taking its arm off.
At this time goblins started getting close from between the trees in 5 big groups of around 7 goblins in each group, so around 35 goblins in total. When Nina saw these groups, she threw her [Water Ball] at them, one for each group. These groups were more spread out so the [Water Ball] killed only 4 in each group. So 20 of 35 were killed, after that she ran closer to Annika and used her Racial skill she gained when she reached level 10.

She used it on Annika to regain some Mana since she was almost empty after the whole day using it and 5 times [Water Ball]. Annika does not have much Mana, but still enough for a couple of [Water Bolt]'s, she pointed her finger at 2 goblins that are the closest, 3 bolts shot from her hand and shot at the goblins, 1 died and 1 flew away from the hit.
Annika has already killed the big goblin by hitting it again when it was screaming in pain from its arm being severed, and focused on the goblins coming, they were surrounding the girls so, Nina focused on those at Annika's back, so she can focus on the front. Not letting the goblin take time to attack she charged at the goblins and cleaved them down, they were all weak so were no problem without their leader and numbers.
