kuraitja Kali's Pov again, to see how it is. also changed some things in desciption of the beasts instead of Mid, it will be Medium.

Also, I learned how to insert image, so the Glossary has a Location tab, and I put in the Base Cave already, that is the rough estimate what it looks like at least

Chapter 28

I arrived at the vantage point without problem, and started the plan, I shot my first shot, breaking my [Camouflage], then reused it, to keep hidden.

When the Arrow flew it was fast and silent. I learned to make different arrow types, and already made some [Soundless Arrows] this morning, before waking up Nina and Annika, these Arrows reduced Noise, but with my bow, which is not powerful, the arrows are very silent.

The first shot killed it, but I noticed that the arrows are more sensitive to wind, good to know for if I shoot them anywhere with more wind, luckily we are in the forest with lots of trees to stop the wind from affecting the arrows.

I looked around to see if any other snake noticed it, but none did. The snake has a hide that camouflages it, and even after dead it still works a little, so the dead snake does not draw attention.

'I can use that' Since they do not notice the dead Shimmer Snakes, I should start killing those.

I kept shooting and shooting, I missed once, but the Shimmer Snakes are slow to react, so do not have the time to react to the second arrow, and after doing this for 10 minutes, they started noticing, so I stopped, and hide more deeply.

Putting back my bow and quiver in my [Space Pocket], I kept hidden, checking out the situation at play here.

The snakes have noticed that some of their members have died, and are angry, I noticed some snakes I never saw before and used [Hunter's Eyes] at them to see some info, nothing pops up until a yellow snake with red stripes, came into view.

'That would be useful,' Useful for a lot of things, specifically the Orcs, we could capture one and Purify them using the bath. There are several snakes that could be useful, but the Parasi Snake looks like an especially useful snake to kill, then I can get its poison.

Sadly the Parasi Snake is surrounded by other snakes, and they have started eating the dead Shimmer Snakes, so I waited for an opportunity.

'That did not take long' I thought when I saw that the Parasi Snake ate one of the Shimmer Snakes whole, and was now twice as big as before, and cannot move, now I just need to wait for the other snakes to leave then I can kill it quickly and steal the body.

After the other Snakes found out that the dead Shimmer Snake was already swallowed, they left for the nests again, leaving the Parasi Snake alone, and I did not wait to take my Bow and quiver out of my [Space Pocket] again, to shoot the snake.

My arrow flew true and hit its head, splitting its Scales, wounding it, but it survived,'Shit, its Medium Defense saved it,'

I took out a different arrow, this one was made with more a more sharp head, made from bone, this arrow is better against Defense, but makes a whistling sound, called a Piercing Arrow, but I had no choice, since it was already calling other Snakes. I moved my body in a better position for a full drawn shot, and released the string, letting the arrow fly, this time at its body, since it was expecting an attack and might move its head away.

The arrow whistled through the air, the Snake moved its head, thinking that was the target, but instead it moved the head in front of its body, directly in the path of the arrow, this arrow went straight through its head, killing it.

'Pure Skill, no luck involved here, no luck at all' I was surprised that it did that, but did not take any time to be surprised, since I still need to get that body. I used [Dash] to increase my speed and ran at it, weaving around places I knew snakes to be at, not wanting to take the chance for them to attack me. 

Before I reached the dead Snake, there were already some snakes around it, ready to eat it, but I jumped over them touched the body and immediately it disappeared into my [Space Pocket], then I kept jumping above some other snakes using [Aerial Platform] to make me not fall down, landed behind the group, and ran full speed away, using [Dash] a couple more time, making me soar through the forest, to the direction I felt the mark of Annika, wanting to talk to them about my plan to use Parasi Snake Venom to capture and purify an Orc.

After I used [Dash] until my Stamina got low, I found a hiding place and used Trance to regain it.

'Interesting, it is Faster than before,' I noticed when it took me only 30 minutes, much faster than before, maybe Trance takes longer when it needs to regain more things at the same time, so it is slower when regaining Stamina, Health and Mana at the same time, but faster when regaining only Stamina, and a little Mana.' That is useful to know,' since I could train [Dash], then [Trance], and repeat, but it is slower training that way, since Skills level faster when used in combat.

I left my hiding place, then ran at the direction of the Mark on Annika, I was at the south of the base, and they went east, so it took me a while to reach them, but I reached them, and immediately shot an arrow at them, into an Orc that was about to hit Nina with its greatsword, in my haste I subconsciously shot while running, but I moved my body perfectly to make the shot without problem, the Piercing Arrow flew true, hitting the Orc straight in the chest, through the armor, into its heart.

I was still a hundred meters away, so I used [Dash] to get there in seconds, and saw that Annika was hurt, and surrounded by more than 20 dead Orcs, Nina was checking her over, using her [Refreshing Drops] to heal her.

"What happened?" I asked, making Annika turn to me with her weapon raised, until she saw me.

"Ah, Kali, we got ambushed by some Orcs," Annika said.

"I think that they know we are here, since they had nets with them to capture us," Nina further explained, which does not sound good, since one of the dead Orcs looks like a leader, the only reason I think so is that it is the only one with a helmet on, and the last one that had a helmet on was also the leader.

"So what level have you both reached? Also did you learn anything about them?" I asked them, since I hope it was not a leader because if it is, then they might send more next time.

"We both reached level 26 in Race and Class, but we learned more, I [Appraised] the Orcs, and they are all 100% {Corrupted}, but what was more interesting was the info from the {Black Fog}, let me show you," Nina Rambled in one breath.

"So it is not {Miasma}, but only a weakened version of it." I say, and a God died trying to stop the {Miasma}.

"Yep, apparently so, but the Appraisal of the Orcs are also interesting, it said they cannot be purified, since their mind was gone." Nina told me.

"Okay that might change things, I wanted to capture one, then Purify it, so we could get some more info about this world," I told them, then checked the body's of the Orcs, I noticed with the other ones I killed before, none of them had the same {Black Fog} rise from it, 'were the first Orcs I killed special in some way?'

"that would help a lot," Annika said," let's all go back to the base, we need to plan ahead now that the Orcs know about us," she continued.\

"I agree, but I will scout around, then get back to base, since I am faster," I said, then started walking towards the North, since I want to see the Cave again, but first I used Primal Sight to see the Orcs, and saw that indeed the {Corruption} was, and the leader was a little less, but still too much. I confirmed my Primal Sight's ability to see the Corruption, and I should also be able to see if they can be purified.

I ran towards the Cave, using [Dash] at times to train it, and did not take long to see it, and this time I did enter it, since I have Primal Sight, that helps me see in the dark in a way. 

The cave entrance was big, and the cave did not get any smaller. After walking for about 2 Minutes, it opens up to a Huge cavern, and a Huge Bear lying in the middle, the Bear has to be at least 20 meters tall. It is surrounded by Dozens of Orcs, and 5 Beings that are also big, at least 5 meters tall, and are holding {Corrupted Chains} that are connected to the Bear.

At least my Primal sight shows these Chains as {Corrupted}, and the {Corruption} from the Chains are infecting the Bear slowly, from what I can see that is the purpose of this capture, to {Corrupt} the Bear, I use [Hunter's Eyes] on the bear, to see if my suspicion is correct.

'WHAT?!' I was shocked, this beast is powerful, my Primal Sight already told me that, but [Hunter's Eyes] confirmed it,'How did they capture it?' was a good question, those 5 Beings are also Powerful, atleast Tier 2, but that Bear is Tier 3, so they had to have done something to it.

I hid behind a rock at wall, and checked all these Orcs too. Now that i have seen a Tier 2 and Tier 3 being, I can see the differents between the Tiers, so can see that most Orcs are Tier 1, but there are 7 of them that are Tier 2, and 6 of them are using some kind of Magic on the Bear. The last Tier 2 Orc is standing close to the Bear, stabbing it at a regular time, every 20 seconds, it would stab the bear.

From the {Corruption} I can see using Primal Sight, it will take them Weeks to corrupt this Bear. I need to tell Nina and Annika this, Maybe we can save that Bear somehow. Just when I was about to leave I noticed something, the Bear is Looking straight at me.
