Chapter 44
Kali's pov
Draga and I were running through the forest. Draga is fast, but I noticed that I am faster than her, so I match my speed to hers. She does have better endurance than me though, since we have been running for 4 hours now, and she has kept the same speed the whole way and is not even sweating, but I have been sweating slightly for the last 30 minutes now.
We have been traveling for a while, and it was getting dark, so I am already looking around for a safe area to rest for the night.
While traveling, I have also been looking at the Nobility tab, and thinking of a [Noble name].
'It has to be connected to the new me, and my life in Sydocia in a way,'
I also found out the noble rankings, which are from lowest to highest.
Rank 1: Baron/Baroness.
Rank 2: Viscount/Viscountess.
Rank 3: Count/Countess.
Rank 4: Marquess/Marchioness.
Rank 5: Duke/Duchess.
Rank 6: Grand Duke/ Grand Duchess.
Rank 7: Prince/Princess.
Rank 8: King/Queen.
Rank 9: Emperor/Empress.
The Nobility tab is mostly empty since I do not have any Territory or a Home, at least not yet. The moment I am back in the cave I will make that my Home in the Nobility tab, which would make it protected from any other noble from taking it, even if they are a higher noble.
Territory works differently. It can be taken, but the System will decide if the higher noble has the right to it, or can use it better. Since I am a Duchess, my territory area is pretty big, and the moment I have made my Home, I can use my mental map to establish a Territory, but I first need to map it all, so that will be a future plan.
I saw that it started to get dark, but honestly, I am getting tired, which is helping me train my Attributes."Can you see in the dark? Since I want to keep running to arrive faster, and also to train myself," I say to Draka, who looks at me in surprise.
I have learned while traveling that Draka is a very quiet person. I have tried to talk to her several times, but got very short answers back.
'Maybe she does not trust me yet,'
"Yes" She says and keeps running, so I assume she wants to keep moving through the night.
'Okay, I hope Nina can bring her out of her shell, just like Annika. Annika told me that she was also very quiet and withdrawn before she met Nina and that Nina helped her express herself better,'
4 hours Later

'Yes!' that is the 3rd point I gained since we have been running.
I am slightly panting, but nobody can hear it since I learned a new application of [Mystery Movement], I can use a little Mana to obscure certain things that I do, which include my panting. It passively gets rid of my traces and sounds I make from moving, but my panting is still heard normally, but now it is not.
'I really need to test my Skills better. I noticed that I have several Skills that I never train, or experiment with.'
I look at Draka again, to see how she is dealing with the running, but she is still good. Her endurance has to be insane, or maybe she has a Skill that makes her running more efficient, since I noticed that she is running slightly differently than I do.
'Maybe I can copy her'
I try to copy her for about 10 minutes, but then give up, since her armor makes it hard to see how she moves her muscles.
"Draka, How are you not getting tired yet?" I asked. She looks at me, and raises an eyebrow in, what I learned from watching her, surprise, most likely caused by the fact that I am panting, but she cannot hear it. For a woman as quiet and Stoic as her, she is surprisingly easy to read, when you learn what all her tells are, and I like learning them.
"Skill" Draka says. Again with the short words. When she just woke up she said much more, but now it is just short words.
'Hmm, it could be that she was asking more, since she was extremely shocked that she was purified. That is the only thing that makes sense to me, since I don't think she is angry at me, and she was really confused when she woke up.'
It is the middle of the night by now, and I was getting too tired. If we get ambushed, it will be too dangerous.
"Let's stop, and take a break. My stamina is too low right now to be safe." I told Draka, and she nodded at me. I already found a spot to rest, a fallen tree, which has a hole that we can use to make a camp.
We moved towards it when I told her about the spot, and entered it. It had a bug inside it that was as big as a cow, but Draka killed it before it could even react to us. [Hunter's Eyes] told me that it was a Corrupted Work Beetle, a useless beetle that eats trees. I took it in my [Space Pocket] so that it does not attract any animals, which made Draka look at me in surprise.
I sat down on one of the corner, and took out some food and [Waters of Lyr] for us. I saw her twitch again, and I look over to see her surprise,"What are you surprised about?" I asked her.
"You have a spatial storage item?" Draka asked me with a tone of disbelieve.
"No, I have a spatial skill that gives me spatial storage. Let's eat, and take the [Waters of Lyr]," I told her, and I could even feel with my [Primal Instincts] that she is surprised.
Draka stared at me for 10 seconds and then responded with,"Okay". She sat down on the other side of the hole.
We at our food and drank our special water,"I will keep watch," Draka said.
"That is not needed, I can just veil both of us," I told her, then showed her my Skill. Draka looks around, but could not find me, so I unveiled,"See? Nobody can see us if we are veiled"
"I agree, that is a powerful Skill," Draka said. I was doing a little happy dance inside my mind since I need to be close to her to veil her too.
I crawl towards her while swinging my hips, which made Draka look at them, and at my tight butt in my tight leather pants,"I need to get close to you," I tell her.
Draka looks at, and I can see her pupils dilate in lust,"How close?" she asked me in a lustful tone.
I get close enough to crawl on top of her, and then I straddled her hips. My head is right in front of her, if I move a little I could kiss her,
"Very close," I whisper.
'Come on, kiss me,'
She got closer to me, and her breath was on my lips. But then she pulled away, which made me pout. I did not say anything, since I want her to want to kiss me, not talk her into kissing me.
I rolled myself to her side, and hugged her side,"Let's sleep," I told her, and when she hugged me back, I veiled us. She shivered in my arms, and closed her eyes.
I did the same, and [Trance] did the rest.
Annika's Pov
The east was the only place where Kali did not scout much, and I wished she did, since we would have known about the Golems beforehand.
We are fighting Stone Golems right now, and one of them is in front of me now. It has a humanoid build, only bigger. At least 3 meters
(10 Feet) tall, and has a wide chest and long arms, their legs are slightly shorter, which we have learned, is also their main weakness.
I smash my big axe into the golem, ramming it on its back, and then I stomp on its chest area, breaking its chest, and its glowing eyes dim. After we learned that they are very unbalanced, the fights became much easier, at least for me, it did.

I look at Nina, and see her finishing off the last of the Stone Golems that she has been fighting, which is 3. Apparently water magic is very effective against these Earth Elemental, which is what they, but they are named Stone Golem. This place is an amazing spot for both of us, Nina with her water magic, and me with my axe.
They also deal blunt force damage with their arms, and my armor is very good at taking that, so I have been letting them hit me. It is not a pleasant experience, but the pain increases my Attributes, and my [Troll's Blood] Skill keeps my health up, and if it gets too low, Nina heals me up again.
I crouch down, and rip the chest from the Stone Golem open. Thrusting my hand in it, I take the [Earth Shard] out, which is a material that I can use with building. After taking it, the Stone Golem, crumbled and became another pile of rocks. I walk to Nina, to do the same with her Stone Golems.
Nina looks at me,"I know you like thrusting into things, but at least say how amazing I am before you do so" Nina said with a laugh.
I laugh with her, and look at her,"You are amazing," I say with sincerity. Nina smiled and got an extra skip in her step the whole way back home.
kuraitja I also gave Draka an eye color, since I forgot that. It is red btw. I also went back and changed the suggestion of Kali to Draka, to be more sexual, and more about 'having some fun', instead of the suggestion that she can join their relationship.
