Chapter 52
Kali's pov
Skinning is relaxing.
Unless something happens that you were not expecting.
The moment I took out one of the {Corrupted} snakes, {Miasma} burst from it, and one of the [Crystals of Lyr] absorbed it. It turned black and the [Crystals of Lyr] around the black one started glowing.
'What the fuck is that?'
"Nina, could you come for a second," I yelled through the cave.
She arrived shortly, and already looked up, since it is hard to ignore.
"How did you do that?" she asked me, so I explained what happened.
Nina nodded,"That explains what I am seeing from Appraisal. The [Crystals of Lyr] are good at absorbing {Miasma}, and then purifying it when surrounded by more [Crystals of Lyr]. That is happening right now."
"Okay, thanks." I told her with a kiss, and she left again, to do her own training.
I checked the Snake that I just took out, and found it to be a normal Gillian Strangle Snake, so I took two more out of my [Space Pocket], and the same thing happened. Making two more black crystals. But the Snakeskin has good defense, so I will make a new armor for Annika with them.
I just finished skinning, and categorizing the things I get from the snakes. Luckily my [Skinning] skill includes a way to see where the poison sacks come from, since they all look the same to me. I also took the time while I was skinning, to use some poisons that have no effect on me, meaning Common poison. Sadly, there were only 7 unique poisons in them.
'Okay, training time!'
I jump up, and move towards the middle of the cave, and look around for the others. Annika is working at the wall with something, and Nina is still by the bath, moving the water. Draka is not here, instead she left the cave a couple of hours ago, and was planning on going towards the goblin cave to mine ore.
First thing I wanted to train is [Dash].

'Interesting, It became cheaper to use, but the distance is still the same.'
I looked at my Status, and did something I should have done before, but I did not know that it would work like that. I made my Mana and Stamina appear in the corner of my vision, so I would always know how much I have.
'Good thing Nina reads books.'
I used dash, and looked at my stamina go down, but it did not take 35 like the skill said, instead it took 21 stamina. 40% less than it should take.
'None of my skills decreases that. Maybe it is one of my Titles, or something else not known to me.'
[Dash] is a skill that is very static, with a forward movement. So the best way to level it, is to try and move towards the right or left when using it. Or maybe change the distance traveled in some way. I could also try and move backwards or sideways, instead of forwards.
I used [Dash] again, and tried to move to the right.
'Oh, That was easier than I thought.'
It worked. I was slightly to the right of where I expected to arrive.
'I knew it. Skills are not as simple as it seems from the System.'
I do it again, and I was more to the right. So I did it again, but moving my body backwards, and I felt a force fight me, but I did not let that stop me, and kept trying until I succeeded.

My body did a step backwards, and my body shot 10 meters back. Then I took a step forwards, and my body shot 10 meters forwards. I did a step to the right, and the same force fought me, but I pushed thought it. The force gave up faster than before, and my body shot to my right, while my body was still facing the same direction.

I kept using [Dash] to move in random 4 directions, then I decided to look at the entrance, and try to move in 8 different directions, instead of 4. This time, I did not even feel the force fight me, and instead it just works.
I laughed while using the [Dash] in 8 directions, and then I got another idea.
'Why would I limit myself to the ground, I can go up.'
The moment the thought was made, I acted on it, and tried using [Dash] while going up. The force that fought me was back, and stronger than any other time, so it took longer for me to do it, but it did not win against my Will.

My body shot in the air, and I made a platform under my feet, and used the platform to [Dash] up again. I was around 20 meters high now, and I used [Dash] again, this time to my right, while a platform was formed under my feet the moment I was out of my [Dash].
I kept doing it again, while thinking in 3D instead of 2D, using my platform as a step to [Dash].
While laughing, I let myself fall to the floor, exhausted from the training. My stamina and Mana were both very low, but I succeeded.
'I should have done this before.'

The moment I woke up, I never felt better.
While my eyes were still closed I thought of yesterday. The sex, Kali, and the savage pleasure I felt.
'I should apologize for my actions.'
I never had a Bloodlust before, I know this. But I did not expect to lose control as much as I did.
'I harmed Kali. She saved my life, and I made her bleed, and bloodied her body.'
I stood up, and put my hands on my face in frustration.
"What are you thinking?" The voice of Nina said, shaking me from my thought.
"I harmed her." I told her, while I tried to keep my emotions under control.
"Yeah, and she loved it." She told me in a fond tone, which made me curious.
'How could someone like being harmed? Unless...she is indeed a Lust Demon. The stories the clan had about them, told us that pain was just pleasure to the Lust Demons.'
"Kali is something called a Masochist. It causes her to feel pleasure from pain." Nina explained, which just confuses me more.
"Is that a Trait of hers, or a Skill. I heard that Lust Demons do not feel pain either, and instead feel pleasure, just like she does."
Nina laughed at that,"She does act like a Lust Demon, yes. But the System has not mentioned her Masochism at all, which is strange in itself."
I pondered,"So she did not mind my savage behavior to her?" I asked her, and I was hoping for confirmation, since I still cannot believe it is true.
Nina gave me a smile,"Believe me, she loved it. Annika and I love her, but we cannot scratch that specific itch of hers, since neither of us can bring ourselves to hurt her like that. But you can, and from what I saw yesterday, you loved it too."
Her observation made me remember something, but I was gone before I could focus on it,"Yes, yes I did love it."
Nina went back towards the bath, and I followed her. When I slipped in the water, I felt a shiver.
'So comfortable.'
