Kali
After seeing Nina's Evolution, Kali decided to move away from them. She has been watching them ever since she returned to Sydocia, 2 days ago, and she wanted something different now.
She willed herself towards the direction of the Corrupted Orcs, and arrived at the Orc camp in no time at all, literally no time.
She saw thousands of Corrupted Orcs, more than she ever saw before. There were dozens of Tier-2 Corrupted Orcs walking around, ordering the Tier-1 Corrupted Orcs, and talking to the Tier-3. At least one of them, since there is another Tier-3 Corrupted Orc in the camp. One of them was the one from last time, the leader, but the other one is new.
They are all very heated into a discussion. Apparently someone killed a {Corrupter}, and they are panicking about it.
After hearing their plans, Kali let loose a mental sigh. They had no idea what, who, or how the {Corrupter} died. To be certain, Kali spied on them until deep in the night, and after hearing them talk in circles for so long, she decided to meet this 'Frontier' she heard them mention.
Since she has not been there before, she needed to travel, but even traveling several km took her no time, since her traveling is instant, with no obstacles. Moving through Space is the fastest way to travel after all.
She was in the air, looking down at a fortress. Several earthen walls with guards on them all. None of them are even slightly tired, and are all focused on looking out for anything suspicious. Professional behavior which surprises Kali, since she has only seen that on professional bodyguards on the TV.
'Interesting. They are vigilant.'
Moving down, Kali checked out the people. Since it is in the middle of the night, there are not many people around, but the people she did see are all ready for combat. It is understandable why, since she noticed several things attacking the Frontier.
She also noticed several pretty girls in Priestess clothing walking around. They are using Magic on the people on the walls, and Kali also found their house. It looks like a temple, and several of them were enjoying their fellow Priestess.
'That is so fucking hot. This religion looks like a lot of fun.' Kali thought when she saw them pleasuring each other, and there were several couples in the temple doing it too.
After watching them going at it for a while, Kali used every bit of Willpower she has to move away from it. She walked in the direction of the important looking building, since she would like to know more about these people, and find out if they are a threat to her own group.
She moved through the wall, and entered an office with a huge Orc behind a desk, which was made to fit him. There were three other people inside the room. Two men are in front of the desk, and a very cute girl was sitting on a chair by the door.
Kali moved closer to the girl, and looked her over,"Goddess, she is pretty." Kali said in awe. She has never met someone that looks as pure and cute as her. She was also wearing the same Priestess clothing as the other pretty woman in this Frontier.
Before Kali could drool over her some more,"I am not going to send a team into the {Black Fog} without some good fucking reasons." The Orc said in an irritated tone. Sounds like he has been dealing with this for a while, and his next words confirm that,"And 'Because there are Goblins there' is not good enough of a reason, so get that in your head. We are dealing with a lot of shit right now, and I do not have the manpower to babysit a Noble."
Of the two men, one is a young man and the other one is an older man. The younger man gets red in his face,"I don't care what you say. I order you to do what I say." he yelled at the orc. It looked ridiculous, since the Orc was taller than them, even while sitting down.
The Orc looked at the older man, and told him threateningly,"Tell your charge to stop trying to order me or my people around, otherwise, expect him to not last long out here in the middle of nowhere. I do not have time to deal with you or your dumb demands."
The older man understood, and pulled the younger man out of the room. The young man did not take kindly to that and started yelling, like a child to be released.
The Orc looked at the cute girl with a raised eyebrow, and she answered his unspoken question,"He told the truth about the Goblins, but he lied about attacking the goblins and also about the reason of attacking them."
'Wow, is she a profiler? Like in those TV shows?' Kali thought when she heard the cute girl explain her findings. She then remembered that Skills exist in this world,'Or maybe she has a skill that can detect lies?'.
The Orc grumbled,"Fucking Nobles." He looked into the cute girl's eyes,"Luna, what do you think he truly wants?" He asked her. From his eyes, Kali has the feeling he was testing Luna.
Luna pondered the question for a while, and then answered it,"He wants a team to protect him, but not from the Goblins. He wants to find these Goblins for some reason, and I wonder where he learned about them since we are the only ones here, but we have no reports about any Goblins. I think it is like you said before, Noble bullshit, and he wants to drag us into it."
Hearing such a cute and innocent looking girl say 'bullshit' hurts Kali's heart, but she learned a lot from this.
The Orc nodded,"I agree, but I don't think he needs a team to protect him, instead, I think he wants to weaken this Frontier." He said, which shocked Luna.
"B-but that would be Treason. Not even the Nobility would be able to get away from that, and their whole Noble line would be executed." Luna said in responds.
"Normally, you would be correct, but the Nobles have been doing a lot of Treacherous things lately, and our Queens have done nothing in responds. It would not be as farfetched as before." The Orc explained with a kind voice to Luna. Most likely knowing that she would take it well.
"W-what? But Ilova would not tolerate such things." Luna uttered.
The Orc sighed loudly,"This is all very political, so I would rather not explain, but you need to hear it."He reasoned, and then started explained some things, "The political situation in Makara is in one word, Stupid. Most Nobles have become no different from thugs and bandits. Using threats of death to control people, and the Queens have been quiet for the last couple of years now. It is all very secretive, and nobody knows why they are so passive lately, but the Nobles have taken advantage of it. Land, manpower, gold, armor, weapons and Crystals of Lyr are all going towards the Nobility, and not to the people that need it."
"Do you know how many Frontiers we lost in the last 3 years? 7. It sounds little, but in the last 20 years, we only lost 11 in total, and 7 of them are from the last 3 years, and of those 7. 6 of them went down when the Beacon of Light was destroyed without any fights. It was done by a Noble, and we even had proof of it, but nothing happens since the only one that can do so are up in their castle, doing Goddess knows what."
"So, that is the basic situation, and I am tired just thinking about it." He finishes, and stood up.
Luna was still processing it all, and felt a hand on her head so she looked up. The Orc is looking at her kindly,"Go to sleep, we have a lot to do tomorrow." He said and walked out the room.
Kali listened and was also thinking about it,'Classic Noble corruption.'
Luna stood up, and also left the room. Kali decided to follow her, and saw her enter the temple with all those pretty woman having sex. She started getting excited to the possibility of seeing Luna have sex with a pretty priestess. Before she could lose herself in her fantasies, she saw that Luna went to her a bed and laid down without paying attention to what is happening around her.
Kali was disappointed, so she decided to travel somewhere else. There is still a lot to see in Sydocia, and when she wakes up, she can tell her girls all about it.
While traveling to a direction where she can feel a city in her Space Senses, she gained a notification.

'My control of the Skill has also increased, and I feel that it is much stronger. Now let's see this new body, I hope it does not change my looks to a snake or serpent.'
