The {Corrupted} Orc that was stabbing the Brola Bear every few seconds was Tier-2, but it feels weaker, and looking at it and its weapon, I noticed why. All the Corruption that strengthens the {Corrupted} Orc is focused on its weapon, and has left its body weak.

Its weapon, which I first thought was a sword, is made from {Corruption} just like the chains that the Ogres are using to keep the Brola Bear under control. It is a pure black spike, and now that I am focusing on it, I can see black threads enter the Brola Bear's body whenever the {Corrupted} Orc stabs it.

'Since it looks so weak, I could just shoot it.' I thought, and switched my knifes with my bow.

Looking around, I found a good spot that would hide me, for when I get Unveiled from shooting an arrow.

Getting an arrow out of my [Space Pocket], I fully draw back my bow string. Focusing on the spot I want to hit while also making sure to apply [Will reinforcement] to the arrow, I release, and the arrow flies through the air with a barely noticeable whistle. It hit the {Corrupted} Orc straight in the side of the head, and it penetrated straight through. Because I was at its side, the arrow kept traveling and buried itself halfway inside the floor, partly hiding it. 

'Wow, I did not expect it to be that powerful.' I thought, since this is the first time I used [Will Reinforcement] on my arrow.

Seeing the kill Notification, I put my bow back again, and I immediately Veil again, while using [Flicker] to move away from the area I shot from, since you never know if they can track that. I kept an eye out, and see if the others would notice the dead Orc, but I think it will take longer than the Humans, since it is hidden better by the body of the Brola Bear. 

'Veil of Space is so good, it stays active even while using [Flicker].' I thought while feeling comfortable within my Veil of Space. The only thing that I know that can break it, is me attacking. Of course, that is because I have not met anything that can see through it, but in the future there might be something or someone that can.

Looking at the dead {Corrupted} Orc, I saw the spike on the ground, and it is not pure black anymore, instead, it is light brown, and the energy I can see with Primal Sight is very pure for something that was {Corrupted} just moments ago.

Before they notice that he died, I Flickered towards it and put it in my [Space Pocket] and then I Flickered away again. 

The moment I was safe, I took it out again and Appraised it. When I held it in my hand, I noticed that it was made from wood, and not metal like I first thought, which means, I should be able to Appraise it using [Bowyer].

'That reminds me. I forgot to look at my [High Artisan] Title or my [Founder of the Mind Arts] Title.' I remembered to myself.

'Interesting. They are using this spike to penetrate the defenses of the Brola Bear.' I concluded.

Looking at the spike in my hand, it has a simple handle, and is made completely from Wood of the Spiked Treant. Even through it is made simple, it has a high penetration power, so I could use it for something. I could use it like it is, or I could use the wood to make arrow heads. Arrows with this wood as arrow heads would be very powerful, and since the spike is pretty big, I could make a lot of them too.

'Since it worked on the Tier-3 Brola Bear, it should also work on other things.' I pondered while looking at the Ogres.

I changed position again and decided to risk it and see what is going to happen. I was planning on leaving after killing as many as I could, but those Ogres look like better prey.

Gripping the Spike in both my hands, I Flickered towards the Ogre closest to the exit. Since [Flicker] can be used in any direction, I decided to arrive above the Ogre, and used gravity to strengthen my downwards thrust, while also using [Will Reinforcement] and True Cuts. 

I felt the spike pierce skin, flesh, bone, and then penetrate deep inside its head. While I was deep inside the head of the Ogre, I activated Lasting Chaos, and pulled out. 

"AAAAAAAAAAGH!" The Ogre yelled, and then moved away from the source of the pain. The resilience of the Ogre is insane, but it died in short order when it moved. I could feel Lasting Chaos carving a path through its brain, and after a last death gurgle, it died.

The moment I pulled away the Spike, I did not Veil, but instead used Mystery of my [Ethereal Presence] Skill. Using Spatial Senses, I could see dark purple smoke cling to my body, and I instinctually knew that nothing here could notice me.

My plan was to escape, but I decided to change that, and instead I Flickered to the top of the Brola Bear and took a lot of [Waters of Lyr] out of my [Space Pocket]. It landed on the Brola Bear, and I could see it working massively against the {Corruption}, but it did not cure him completely.

The [Waters of Lyr] did not just land on the Brola Bear. Some of it landed on the {Corrupted} chains that were holding the Brola Bear under control, and it started sizzling. It reminded me of the Corrupter, it also started sizzling when [Waters of Lyr] touched it.

The chains were slowly melting under the effects of the [Waters of Lyr], but I did not have time to see its effect further since I could see the Abominations doing something that my [Primal Instinct] tells me is dangerous to me.

I Flickered away and kept going until I exited the cave. The dark purple smoke that clings to my body was still active, and I kept it active while I ran full speed to the north.

When I thought that I was far enough from the cave, I dropped Mystery, Veiled myself, and stopped moving while facing the direction that I came from.

Good thing I had that extra Spatial Mana, and even with all the Mana I used it was still double my max, and it also reminds that I need to increase that too. A lot of my Skills use Mana, and I only have a little of it, but I did notice that it is a more refined Mana than normal Mana. My Skills do not use much Mana for this reason, and that helps a lot, but it is always good to have some extra Mana.

'I also need to level my [Prostitute] Skills.' I reminded myself, but I can take my time with that.

Since I feel safe, I opened up the Notification I gained from killing the Ogre.

'That Ogre was at a high level.' I thought with wonder, and from my experience with killing it, I know its specialty. It is obviously Strength-based, but it also has an insane defense, since I could feel the defense of the Ogre, and without that spike I would not be able to penetrate as deep as I did with it. Shallow wounds would most likely be the limit.

Now that I am waiting, I might as well check the new Class Skill and the Titles that I forgot to check.

'Another Active, and a Rare one at that.' I noticed, and moved my hands to my face and softly touched my skin while activating the Skill.

I released a soft sigh out of comfort, and stopped the skill after feeling its effect. It does cause pleasure, but on my face it feels more like a relaxing massage instead of something sexually stimulating. Even still, this Skill is very good, and I was looking forward to using it on other people.

'Even if it is a Skill that can only massage the area, it would still be nice to have. Now, let's see these Titles.' I thought, and was expecting them to be good since all the Titles have been useful and most of them have a nice Passive effect to something.

Both of them have nice Passive effects that will help me immensely, especially the [Founder of the Mind Arts] Title which increases so much of my Mind Skills. That I need to give my approval before other people can get [Mind Arts] is interesting and makes me wonder if other Founders of Artisan Skills have that. But, I don't think they do, or the Skill becomes available after the Founder dies. 

After I asked, the System sent me a notification with confirmation that the Founder needs to die before the Skill becomes available, but that Skills with similar effects are already created. Like my [Bowyer] Skill. Bows can be made using [Forest Crafting] or [Woodworking], but [Bowyer] will always be best at creating bows.

I have been waiting for 30 minutes now, and I am still not followed, so I feel safe enough to return to base and see if Annika has already started her Evolution.
