It has the appearance of a deer, and it was full of majesty as it led the cluster of lights around it step by step.
Tree Branches grew instead of antlers to form its horns.
It was eerily beautiful.
It was dyed in a half-transparent green glow.
Every fiber of its body seemed to scream that it was not of this world.
The ground rose up around him, with every step he took.
Soon, grass sprouted, followed by nameless wildflowers and saplings.

The Deer’s voice echoed in my head, it was a strange sensation, and I held my breath at its overwhelming momentum.

The deer turned to face Pyo Yeon-won, who looked at him as if it was looking at a child.
“You can’t do this, I’ve worked so hard to get to this stage…!”
「Shut up.」
Copycat tried to swing its arm, which had once again morphed into a monster’s, but he was immediately subdued by the entity before he could even change entirely.

Without stopping, thick trunks sprouted, twisting and turning its limbs.
Like a child plucking the wings off a dragonfly… All of his resistance was futile.

Its Blue Green eyes lightly swept the room.
「Are all the humans here ‘Us’ or just the ones you care about ‘Us’?」
The students shuddered at the question.
They looked at Pyo Yeon-won with pleading eyes.
It was shameless.
What must have happened inside here was as clear as day.
The Shapeshifter must have instigated them, and caused them to do it.
After all, who was the one who had beaten that student rolling on the ground to a pulp?
「Who is responsible for Yeon-Won’s swollen face?」
The students immediately trembled because they knew they did something wrong.

After the gate incident, Pyo Yeon-Won didn’t really need to go to the hospital.
His wounds had already healed during the battle.
But for some reason, as soon as the gate was cleared, he fell asleep and didn’t wake up for a long time.
The doctor told us that there was nothing we could do but to wait for him to wake up.
After about two weeks, he finally opened his eyes.
But he looked like he was broken.
We couldn’t say anything to the despairing Pyo Yeon-Won.
The students who were beaten up by the other students inside the gate sued the assaulters who used violence against them, and as always, what happened inside the gate didn’t require a lot of legal responsibility.
Most of the students were sentenced to probation though.

Hankuk University is actively preparing to reopen again after the tragedy, and only Pyo Yeon-Won was still stuck at that time…
“He doesn’t want to talk about it. I think there was something else that happened, not just the beatings… And he doesn’t want to tell us anything.”
“It’s not like we can just punish anyone even if we knew something.”
“I know that, that’s why I’m frustrated.”
Hyewon-Unnie was flooded with guilt.
She felt guilty that she hadn’t been there for him, that she hadn’t been able to comfort him after he’d come out of the gate.
“He’ll get over it, though. Right now, he just needs some time. I’ll go check up on him.”
“Why don’t you? He seemed a little more comfortable with you.”
I accepted the refreshments Unnie had handed to me.
The apple was nicely sliced.

I opened the door and walked inside to find Pyo Yeon-Won leaning against the back of his bed.
“Noona.”
“Don’t you have an appetite? Try this.”
“No.. It’s just… I don’t feel like eating.”
“Hyewon-Unnie is worried about you, so let’s just eat one, okay?”
