Wang Ling left the Sect about a month ago, and only now did he reach one of his destinations, Red Stone Town. Red Stone Town a place that's circled by a volcanic valley.

Entering the town Wang Ling asked around to know where the best place to stay was. He was given two options, the Burning Tavern or the Heavenly Springs. The Tavern provided good food, while the Heavenly Springs the best accommodations.

Of course, Wang Ling picked both. He would first eat at the Tavern and then head to the Heavenly Springs so that he'd be able to take a dip on the hot springs. After that, he would go to the place where he planned on heading, to the Slave Trader's bases.

Wang Ling walked into the Tavern with his friendlies of smiles and expected good service, but what he received, was… something else.

"I am thankful for you delivering me the food I asked for but I do not know what is happening at the moment. Could you please back off?" Wang Ling said to the lady who was being too close to him.

[Is this some kind of custom here?] He was confused, thus he looked at one of the amused onlookers and asked, "Is this some kind of custom here?"

"If it is then my twenty years of living here had been wrong … but I think Alidia is just being a weirdo again." An amused young man said with a belly full of laughter.

Wang Ling sighed and knowing it was not some culture he did not know of he held onto Alidia's shoulders and pushed her away, "I do not know why you are acting in this matter, but I would like you to please leave me alone…"

Wang Ling then mouthed off the words, "If you don't, then I will make sure your hidden identity gets known to the others." Wang Ling could feel the subtle but sharp killing intent behind her and seeing how the others were still laughing could only mean that the others did not know this lady was ready to kill him.

Alidia's eyes dilated and quickly retreated, she bowed her head and apologized, "I apologize, I was being too aggressive… it is just that… I have fallen for you at first sight and I… failed to control my emotions."

The Tavern suddenly fell silent.

"I did not expect her to suddenly confess… did the accident activated her boldness? Or did it activate her need for procreation?"

"I dunno… but I think I should have given it a shot after the incident…" the Tavern regulars could not believe what they had just heard. In the town, the most youthful and beautiful lady that they know was Alidia.

She was kind of the desire for everyone and no one really hid their feelings for her keeping their hearts on their sleeves. They knew her as someone who's extremely outgoing, but not someone this bold.

Everyone waited for Wang Ling's answer to Alidia's confession.

Like always, Wang Ling's smile never faded, "This may come off as arrogant but I am not interested. Please leave me be so that I can enjoy my food. I will be taking my leave as soon as I can as to not bother you anymore."

Wang Ling ever-present smile radiated a mysterious light as he continued with a now more audible voice, "Please, move on for I am not the man that you should admire. Your pursuit of me will only lead you to a wall."

His words were sharp and could be surmised to 'get lost' without all that flowery reasoning. Anyone would have thought Wang Ling would take interest in Alidia, but, to their disbelief, Wang Ling actually did the opposite.

Alidia knew that pushing it would be too suspicious and from the looks of it, she had just confirmed that Wang Ling was not the same person as the one she killed a month ago. But, before she left, she had to ask, "I am sorry to hear that, but, may I have the honor to know the name of the first man who stole and broke my heart?"

Such cheesy words almost made Wang Ling burst out laughing. This hidden expert sure liked to play, but he answered her nonetheless, "My name is Wang Ling."

[A spike in killing intent? Interesting, does she hate me that much? Is it instinctual? I know I don't care about the gender of my victims, but I haven't killed enough women to be hated for no reason.] Wang Ling couldn't understand why this woman hated him as she had just seen her most hated enemy.

With a sigh, he finished the meat and vegetable dish he was given in under a minute and then finished everything else, he escaped the Tavern with haste and left the pay on the table. On his way out, Alidia looked at his back and then took off her apron, "Owner! I'm going to step out for a bit!"

Alidia ran after Wang Ling, leaving everything behind. The others watched this sight with great interest, they didn't think she was so much of a romanticist, "Who would've thought?"

They all said before all bursting into a peal of laughter before returning to drinking.

"Hey! Wait a minute! Wait up!" Alidia called out to Wang Ling who ignored her like her words were but passing wind. She caught up to him and tried holding his shoulders but Wang Ling simply shifted his weight and dodged her hands.

Alidia's brows creased, she tried again, and Wang Ling once more – Alidia tried and Wang Ling dodged, she circulated qi our of irritation, but Wang Ling just said, "Are you sure?"

That simple question halted her advance, so, she tried catching up to him and he moved faster. Wang Ling once again shifted his weight, dodged Alidia, and dashed to the nearest alleyway.

Seeing this Alidia's eyes widened at his attempt of escaping, she ran after him and when the second step she took into the alleyway someone tripped her.

She could have regained her posture but someone stepped on her spine.

"You bas-"

"I heard that millions of times already, now, tell me why you've been picking a fight with me." Wang Ling captured Alidia.

Alidia tried fighting back, but... Wang Ling's voice echoed again, "Tell me what I want to know." this time... Alidia was devoured by his killing intent, drowning her own.
